Byla si veselá, mladá a měla si celý svůj život před sebou. Jen si se ocitla ve špatný čas na špatném místě. Démoni, převlečení za zlé lidi, navštěvují náš svět odnepaměti. Stávají ve stínu, šeptají děsivé modlitby a věří v ďábla. Zůstává po nich jenom smutek, bolest a utrpení. Měli by být zavřeni v domech šílenství nebo popraveni, ale místo toho je jim věnována veškerá péče. Jsou s nimi dělány rozhovory, psány o nich knihy a natáčeny filmy. Pozůstalým zbydou nakonec vždycky jenom oči pro pláč.
Intro nové nahrávky německých TEUTONIC SLAUGHTER je inspirováno děsivým a šíleným reálným příběhem, ze kterého dodnes mrazí v zádech. Mě po letech nezbývá nic jiného, než si znovu obléct džínovou vestu a zavzpomínat na dobu, kdy jsem se svými kamarády řval veškerou nespravedlnost do tmy. O vzteku, o frustraci, o agresi a šílenství thrash metal vždycky býval a novinka od těchto maniaků to jenom potvrzuje. Je divoká, ryzí, ohlodaná na kost, opravdová a autentická. K minulému albu jsem měl lehké výhrady, ale tentokrát jsem spokojen po všech stránkách.
Kdysi dávno, na přelomu osmdesátých a devadesátých let minulého století, jsem byl pravověrný thrasher. Jinou muziku jsem dlouho neuznával a dodnes ji mám zakódovanou v genech. Pravdou sice je, že dnes už zvedám hlavu, jako starý prašivý pes, jenom v případě, když mě nějaká novinka opravdu zaujme. A s "Cheap Food" se mi to stalo. Jakoby se mi do žil znovu vlila pradávná energie a tlak. Cítím, vnímám všemi póry svého těla, takový ten heavy efekt, touhu ničit, řezat do živého. Moc dobře vím, že se poslední roky vzedmula nová vlna thrash metalových kapel, ale na rovinu, moc dobrých jich nepřinesla. TEUTONIC SLAUGHTER, založeni již v roce 2011, ale patří mezi vyvolené. Píšu to často a tentokrát to musím také zmínit. Tahle smečka hraje srdcem a je to hodně znát. Jasně, že lze v jejich tvorbě vystopovat styčné body se smečkami jako DARKNESS, VENOM, CYKLONE, KREATOR, SODOM. To ale není v závěru vůbec důležité. Hlavní je, alespoň pro moji maličkost, že na mě má novinka doslova magický účinek. Řvu do tmy, bouchám do stolu v divokých rytmech. Mám zrovna zlomenou nohu, ale to mi vůbec nevadí, abych se pokoušel s berlemi o mosh-pitové kreace. Nové album bychom v dobách mého mládí, kdy jsme se nekonečné hodiny toulali po sídlišti mezi panelovými domy, označili jako za kurva dobré. Nevím, takhle desku vnímám a poslouchám. Pevně věřím, že ani já, ani nikdo z mých blízkých, se nikdy neocitne ve špatný čas na špatném místě. Nezbývá mi nic jiného, než nahrávku doporučit všem pravověrným. Řeže totiž opravdu tou správnou stranou nože. Agresivní, syrový, divoký a nespoutaný thrash metal, který je ukovaný z té nejkvalitnější oceli! Mosh-pit!

The intro to the new album by German band TEUTONIC SLAUGHTER is inspired by a terrifying and insane true story that still sends shivers down my spine. Years later, all I can do is put on my denim vest again and reminisce about the days when my friends and I used to scream about injustice into the darkness. Thrash metal has always been about anger, frustration, aggression, and madness, and the new album from these maniacs only confirms that. It's wild, pure, stripped down to the bone, real, and authentic. I had some minor reservations about the last album, but this time I'm satisfied in every way.
A long time ago, at the turn of the 1980s and 1990s, I was a true thrasher. For a long time, I didn't recognize any other music, and to this day, it's encoded in my genes. The truth is that today, I only raise my head like an old mangy dog when something new really catches my attention. And that's what happened with "Cheap Food". It was as if ancient energy and pressure were poured into my veins again. I feel, I perceive with every pore of my body, that heavy effect, the desire to destroy, to cut into the flesh. I know very well that a new wave of thrash metal bands has emerged in recent years, but to be honest, it hasn't brought many good ones. TEUTONIC SLAUGHTER, founded in 2011, is one of the chosen ones. I write this often, and I have to mention it this time as well. This pack plays with their hearts, and it shows. Sure, you can find similarities in their work with bands like DARKNESS, VENOM, CYKLONE, KREATOR, and SODOM. But in the end, that's not important at all. The main thing, at least for me, is that this new release has a literally magical effect on me. I scream into the darkness, banging on the table in wild rhythms. I have a broken leg at the moment, but that doesn't stop me from trying to mosh pit with my crutches. In my youth, when we spent endless hours wandering around the housing estate between prefabricated buildings, we would have described the new album as fucking good. I don't know, that's how I perceive and listen to this record. I firmly believe that neither I nor any of my loved ones will ever find ourselves in the wrong place at the wrong time. I have no choice but to recommend this recording to all true believers. It really cuts with the right side of the knife. Aggressive, raw, wild, and unrestrained thrash metal forged from the highest quality steel! Mosh pit!
