Odněkud z jiné dimenze, z hlubin vesmíru, z nejtemnějších myšlenek slyším mnoho mrazivých ozvěn. Dívám se do tmy a jsem smutný i zádumčivý. Nemám rád společnost, jsem raději sám a opuštěný. V temných ulicích prázdného města, na starých pohřebištích, v temnotě a chladu. Vyhledávám hudbu, která je mi blízká, nasávám pach smrti. Klaním se H.P. Lovercraftovi, umírám a znovu se rodím. Každý máme svoji noční můru, každý máme někdy děsivé sny. Jsou skupiny, které je umí přetavit v hudbu. SULPHUR AEON patří mezi ně.
Na novinku jsem se velmi těšil, přesto jsem k ní přistupoval opatrně. Je to jenom mezi mnou a kapelou. Potřebuji opravdu klid a soustředěný poslech. Trávil jsem s novinkou "Seven Crowns and Seven Seals" spoustu času. V práci, cestou domů, v chladném pokoji, v lese i v záhrobí. Pomalu mi přešla do krve, stala se mojí součástí a já nemohu jinak, než chválit.
Němci umí být vznešení i přízemní, divocí i snoví. Posluchač dostane opravdu velmi pestrou paletu pochmurných nálad. Ze skladeb doslova odkapává tajemno, bolest i melancholie. Připadám si, že mám do hlavy navrtanou díru a proudí mi do ní vesmírná energie. Mám rád tajemno, temnotu a rád prosévám mezi prsty prach. Zhasněte všechna světla a nechte znít jenom ostré riffy, mocné melodie, magické vokály a drtivé bicí. Ano, základem je stále death metal a melodiemi opředený black metal, ale přidáváno je i spousta neotřelých pasáží. Poslouchat "Seven Crowns and Seven Seals", je jako se vznášet na krvavých vlnách špinavé řeky. H. P. Lovercraft vytvořil svůj vlastní děsivý a zvláštní svět a SULPHUR AEON jsou jeho hudebními pokračovateli. Nikdy bych nevěřil, že někdo dokáže všechny ty představy, příšery a příběhy přetavit v hudbu. Němcům se to povedlo na výbornou. Doporučuji vám tedy, abyste se šli projít ve tmě a po příchodu domů si otevřeli nějakou jeho knihu. Uvidíte, že budete postupně přidávat hlasitost a obojí, kniha i hudba, se vám spojí v jedno. Je to hodně majestátní album, mocné a záhadné. Budou se vám před očima promítat děsivé představy a teprve potom vše pochopíte. Ona to vlastně není jen obyčejná nahrávka, jak býváme všichni zvyklí. Spíše se jedná o tajemnou, magickou seanci, o ozvěny z jiných sfér. Novinka chce čas, klid a fantazii. Potom ji pochopíte. Odněkud z jiné dimenze, z hlubin vesmíru, z nejtemnějších myšlenek, slyším mnoho mrazivých ozvěn. Dívám se do tmy a jsem smutný i zádumčivý. Black death metalová, temná energie z hlubin vesmíru! Cthulhu mýty znovu ožívají!

There are bands that can turn them into music. SULPHUR AEON is one of them.
I was looking forward to the new album, but I approached it with caution. It's just between me and the band. I really need calm and focused listening. I spent a lot of time with the new "Seven Crowns and Seven Seals". At work, on the way home, in the cold room, in the woods, and in the beyond. It slowly got into my blood, became a part of me and I can't help but praise it.
Germans can be both sublime and down-to-earth, wild and dreamy. The listener gets a really diverse palette of gloomy moods. The songs literally drip with mystery, pain and melancholy. I feel like a hole has been drilled in my head and cosmic energy is flowing into it. I like mystery, darkness and I like to sift the dust between my fingers. Turn off all the lights and let only the sharp riffs, powerful melodies, magical vocals and crushing drums sound. Yes, the foundation is still death metal and melody-drenched black metal, but there are plenty of novelty passages thrown in as well. Listening to "Seven Crowns and Seven Seals" is like floating on the bloody waves of a dirty river. H.P. Lovercraft created his own eerie and strange world and SULPHUR AEON are his musical successors. I would never have believed that anyone could translate all those fantasies, monsters and stories into music. The Germans did it perfectly. So I suggest you go for a walk in the dark and open one of his books when you get home. You will find that you will gradually increase the volume and both the book and the music will become one. It's a very majestic album, powerful and mysterious. You'll have some scary images projected in front of your eyes and then you'll understand. It's not just an ordinary record, as we're all used to. Rather, it is a mysterious, magical séance, echoes from other realms. Novelty takes time, calm and imagination. Then you will understand it. Black death metal, dark energy from the depths of the universe! Cthulhu myths come alive again!
