Jako loutka bez duše. Jako tělo, které někdo umístil tak, aby nahánělo strach. Pokaždé zvolil jiný způsob smrti. Byla to záhada, která trvala několik let. Potom vše zapadlo na svá místa. V hrobech, na kterých jsme mrtvoly vždy nalezli, leželi oběti násilných činů. Někdo vzal zase jednou spravedlnost do svých rukou. Byl jako černé svědomí, jako mstitel ze záhrobí. Neviditelný, bez slitování. Působil na mě velmi podobně, jako hudba ROTTEN TOMB z Chile.
S touhle smečkou jsme se spolu setkali již u jejich předchozího alba "Visions of a Dismal Fate" z roku 2022. Odkaz na recenzi i rozhovor naleznete dole pod článkem. Pánové i letos pokračují ve své morbidní práci. Přinášejí nám novinku, která musela být nahrána na stejných hřbitovech, jakou jsou ty z úvodu dnešního článku.
Nové album "The Relief of Death" je opět po okraj narvané špínou, hnisem a hlavně prvotřídním starým death metalem. Fanoušci žánru si přijdou rozhodně na své. Osobně se mi opět líbí všechny ty kruté, morbidní a divoké nálady, které se povedlo kapele na desku doslova narvat. Tohle je hudba pro všechny tmáře, pro všechny prokleté. Pokud máte rádi smečky jako INCANTATION, BRUTALITY, GOREMENT, GRAVE, zkaženou krev, ale i mráz, který lze nalézt na náhrobcích se jmény jako WINTER nebo PARADISE LOST, neváhejte ani chvilku. Dostanete poctivou porci jedu, který když pozřete, tak zemřete v krutých křečích. Jasně, vše tu už bylo a podobných kapel chodí po světě velké množství. Jenže jenom některé mě baví a dokáží mě znovu přikovat k reproduktorům. Chilským válečníkům se to opět povedlo na výbornou. Zvuk, obal, celkové provedení, vše je podřízeno jedinému - pohřbít vás zaživa, rozemlít vás na prach. Doporučím vám jednu věc. Až se setmí a nad hřbitovem bude mlha, přidejte hlasitost a vydejte se na cestu. Potkáte stejné démony, stejná těla, jako já, když jsem se stále a často rád k téhle nahrávce vracel. Pokud si zakládáte na tom, abyste měli ve své sbírce všechna mrtvolná alba, která letos stojí za to, nemělo by "The Relief of Death" rozhodně chybět. To vám podepíšu vlastní krví. Mám při poslechu pocit, že povstali všichni démoni, aby se přišli pomstít. A útočí za zvuků téhle desky. Jako loutka bez duše. Jako tělo, které někdo umístil tak, aby nahánělo strach. Pokaždé zvolil jiný způsob smrti. Byla to záhada, která trvala několik let. Potom vše zapadlo na svá místa. Starodávný, temný, tajemný death metalový rituál, u kterého se rozpadnete v prach!

The gentlemen continue their morbid work this year. They bring us a new release that must have been recorded in the same graveyards as the ones featured in the opening of today's article.
The new album "The Relief of Death" is once again packed to the brim with filth, pus and most importantly first class old death metal. Fans of the genre will definitely enjoy it. Personally, I again like all the cruel, morbid and wild moods that the band managed to literally cram onto the record. This is music for all the darkies, for all the damned. If you like packs like INCANTATION, BRUTALITY, GOREMENT, GRAVE, corrupted blood, but also the gloom that can be found on tombstones with names like WINTER or PARADISE LOST, don't hesitate a moment. You'll get a fair portion of poison, which if you devour, you'll die in violent convulsions. Sure, it's all been here before and there are plenty of similar bands walking around the world. But only some of them entertain me and manage to get me glued to the speakers again. The Chilean warriors have done it again. The sound, the cover, the overall performance, everything is subordinated to one thing - to bury you alive, to grind you to dust. I will recommend one thing. When it gets dark and the fog is over the cemetery, turn up the volume and get on your way. You'll meet the same demons, the same bodies, as I did when I loved to come back to this record again and again. If you pride yourself on having all the dead-worthy albums in your collection this year, "The Relief of Death" should definitely not be missed. I'll sign that with my own blood. Listening to it makes me feel like all the demons have risen to come for revenge. And they're attacking to the sound of this record. Like a puppet without a soul. Like a body that's been placed in such a way as to strike fear. Each time they chose a different way to die. It was a mystery that lasted for years. Then everything fell into place. An ancient, dark, mysterious death metal ritual that will make you crumble into dust!
