Několik dní o hladu a žízni v temném lese přenese člověka do jiné dimenze. Toulal jsem se v mlze a potkával přízraky. Měly podlouhlé protáhlé obličeje a skřehotaly jedovatým hlasem. Nevěděl jsem, co je pravda a co ještě sen. Blouzním? Všechno se stalo. Přesvědčil jsem se o tom díky bolesti. Když mě pokousal první nemrtvý, když mi byla proříznuta tepna na krku. Když jsem poslouchal novou desku německo-španělských tmářů JADE. Ocitl jsem se na onom světě, daleko za řekou Styx.
Nové album "The Pacification Of Death" je opět jako prokletá mantra. Procházím se smradlavými močály, nad kterými se vznáší krvavá mlha. Death metal plný zvláštně tajemných a záhadných nálad. Zapalte svíce a sevřete ruce v kruhu. Seance může začít.
Pod zvukem je podepsán Javi Félez - Moontower Studios, Barcelona (Graveyard, Teitanblood, Foscor), obal namaloval mistr Adam Burke (Loss, Occultation, Vektor, Evoken). Obojí krásně podtrhuje a doplňuje velmi podmanivou hudbu, kterou na "The Pacification Of Death" naleznete. Ta je velmi vznešená, majestátní, ale také chladná a bolestivá. V některých momentech mám pocit, že padám z velké výšky do hlubin. Po zádech a s jistotou, že se dole roztříštím na tisíc kousků. Jindy se zase brodím po kolena špinavým bahnem a lekám se každého zvuku. Přirovnávat JADE k tvorbě někoho jiného nemá moc cenu. Jednak jsou svým způsobem originální a také vás nechci zbytečně zatěžovat obyčejnými slovy. Skladby tu totiž plynou velmi lehce, samozřejmě, esotericky. Jako když zabloudíte v lese a objevíte staré pohřebiště. Odhrnete nános hlíny a čtete si jména na náhrobcích. Ocitnete se několikrát ve stavu déjà vu. Protože vám do uší hraje nahlas "The Pacification Of Death" a nahlížíte na svět úplně jinak než dřív. Nejčastěji jsem si pouštěl nahrávku v temném pokoji, když město dávno spalo. Mraky byly nízko a v ulicích jsem spatřil mnoho stínů. Měly podlouhlé protáhlé obličeje a skřehotaly jedovatým hlasem. Nevěděl jsem, co je pravda a co ještě sen. Jedno vím ale jistě, nová deska by vám neměla určitě uniknout. Tajemný, magický, záhadný death metalový rituál!

The new album "The Pacification Of Death" is again like a cursed mantra. I'm walking through a stinking swamp with a bloody mist hovering over it. Death metal full of strange and mysterious moods. Light your candles and clasp your hands in a circle. The séance can begin.
Under the sound is signed Javi Félez - Moontower Studios, Barcelona (Graveyard, Teitanblood, Foscor), cover artwork by master Adam Burke (Loss, Occultation, Vektor, Evoken). Both beautifully underline and complement the very captivating music you will find on "The Pacification Of Death". The music is very sublime, majestic, but also cold and painful. At some moments I feel like I'm falling from a great height into the depths. On my back and with the certainty that I will shatter into a thousand pieces at the bottom. At other times, I'm wading through knee-deep dirty mud, terrified of every sound. There is not much point in comparing JADE to someone else's work. For one thing, they are original in their own way and I don't want to bother you unnecessarily with ordinary words. The songs here flow very easily, of course, esoterically. Like when you get lost in the woods and discover an old burial ground. You brush away the dirt and read the names on the tombstones. You find yourself in a state of déjà vu several times. Because "The Pacification Of Death" is playing loudly in your ears and you see the world in a completely different way than before. Most of the time I played the record in a dark room when the city was asleep. The clouds were low and I saw many shadows in the streets. They had elongated faces and squawked with a venomous voice. I didn't know what was true and what was still a dream. But one thing I know for sure, you shouldn't miss the new record. A mysterious, magical, enigmatic death metal ritual!
