Píšeme povídky o smrti, hrajeme hudbu o smutných věcech. Pak se stane doopravdy něco zlého, jako třeba odchod blízkého člověka a všechno je stejně jinak. Vše je najednou ohlodáno až na kost. Uzavřeme se do sebe se svojí bolestí a dokážeme poslouchat pouze desky, které jsou opravdové. CONSECRATION sleduji již několik let a pokaždé mě dokázali přesvědčit. Jejich muzika je totiž ryzí, zahraná od srdce.
Tak je alespoň vnímám já. Myslím, že je to důležité. Posluchač si musí získat k nahrávce vztah. Vstávat s ní, pouštět si ji v práci i cestou v ulicích. Když jde spát a když se pomalu mlha mění v sen. Vítejte v death doom metalovém království!
Pálí mě na hrudníku a bývám nejraději sám. Nevím vlastně ani proč. Daleko od lidí, uprostřed přírody, tam si pouštím "Cinis" nejraději. Myslím, že pokud jste fanoušci třeba takových HOODED MENACE, DECOMPOSED, DISEMBOWLMENT, COFFINS, WINTER, AUTOPSY, EVOKEN, MY SILENT WAKE, NOVEMBERS DOOM, MY DYING BRIDE, budete na tom stejně jako já. Britové šikovně na albu kombinují surový a drsný smrtící kov s chladnými, smutnými melodiemi. Pro podobné záležitosti je nutný dar, talent. Říkejte si tomu jak chcete, ale já si připadám jako na dlouhých procházkách podzimním lesem. Je to tak, kapele se opět povedla deska, která je (nejen) v rámci žánru skvělá po všech stránkách. Černobílý, morbidní cover, který vás ihned uvede do děje, mrazivý zvuk, ale hlavně spousta zajímavých nápadů. Je sice pravdou, že pánové neposouvají hranice žánru, ale to mi vůbec nevadí. Rozhodně se nejedná jen o dobré řemeslo, jak jsem někde četl. Naopak. Věřím jim každý tón, každou notu. Jsem pohlcen temnotou, nahlížím do světa za oponou. Já vím, svět je někde jinde, ale jsem hrozně rád, že existují smečky jako CONSECRATION. Můžete si je s klidem pustit, až budete číst nekrolog nebo příběhy o starých neštěstích. V realitě bývám veselý člověk, ale někdy na mě padne splín. Pro podobné chvíle je "Cinis" velmi vhodným společníkem. Mrazivá, death doom metalová mlha!

My chest burns and I like to be alone. I don't really know why. Away from people, in the middle of nature, that's where I like to play "Cinis" the most. I think that if you are a fan of HOODED MENACE, DECOMPOSED, DISEMBOWLMENT, COFFINS, WINTER, AUTOPSY, EVOKEN, MY SILENT WAKE, NOVEMBERS DOOM, MY DYING BRIDE, you will be in the same boat as me. The Brits skill-fully combine raw and harsh death metal with cool, sad melodies on the album. It takes a gift, a talent, for this sort of thing. Call it as what you want, but I feel like I'm taking a long walk in the autumn woods. It's true, the band has once again managed to make a record that is (not only) great in all aspects within the genre. A black and white, morbid cover that immediately puts you into the action, a chilling sound, but most of all a lot of interesting ideas. It's true that the gentlemen don't push the boundaries of the genre, but that doesn't bother me at all. It is definitely not just good craft, as I read somewhere. On the contrary. I trust them with every note, every note. I'm engulfed in darkness, peering into the world behind the curtain. I know, the world is somewhere else, but I'm so glad that bands like CONSECRATION exist. You can safely put them on when you read an obituary or stories of old disasters. In reality, I tend to be a cheerful person, but sometimes the full moon gets to me. For such moments, "Cinis" is a very suitable companion. Chilling, death doom metal fog!
