Znechucené pohledy, zvracení a smrt v očích. Už jsem si dávno zvykl. Pitvy nebývají nikdy nic příjemného, ale jsou nutné, to je bez debat. Dělám tuhle práci již více než třicet let, stejně jako poslouchám surový death metal a grindcore. A pokaždé, když mi přivezou nové tělo, tak si musím pustit nějakou novou nahrávku. Něco, co mi bude kulisou, soundtrackem k tomu, až budu řezat do chladného masa. Máte rádi hudební masakry? Divoké a nekompromisní tsunami?
Potom jste tu dnes správně. Kalifornští CARTILAGE totiž vydávají nové EP, které když si poslechnete, tak se vám ve vnitřnostech usadí takový divný neklid, který provází všechna dobrá alba. Je to divoká jízda od začátku do konce. Je to poctivá a šílená pitva na ještě trošku živém těle. Ostrý, nekompromisní atak, který vás totálně zničí. Mě se to alespoň stalo.
Aby bylo jasno. Tahle deska má jasný genetický původ. Pokud jste rádi a často ve společnosti třeba takových CARCASS, EXHUMED, GENERAL SURGERY, IMPALED, HAEMORRHAGE, IMPETIGO, MORTICIAN, potom je pro vás letošní počin těchto šílenců jasnou volbou. Skladby v sobě mají potřebný drive a sílu, takový ten nakumulovaný vztek a frustraci, které musí nakonec vždycky ven. Tohle je zkrátka hudba na páteční pařby, s hektolitry alkoholu, s moshpitem, u kterého praskají kosti. Pět krátkých, ostrých skladeb, které v sobě mají spoustu gore, smrti i zkažené krve. Tohle je zkrátka hudba, kterou lze aplikovat v pátek, když se táhnete jako smrad unavení z práce. Štve vás politika, falešné úsměvy, lži a nenávist? Potřebujete se uvolnit? Potom doporučuji tohle EP a volume pořádně doprava. Dovedu si představit menší klub, kam chodí jen pravověrní, nemrtví i zombie. Když zazní první riff z této nahrávky, rozjede se pekelná jízda. Lidé létají vzduchem, všude je cítit adrenalin. Tak přesně v těchto momentech vynikne "Tales from the Entrails: A Necrology" nejvíce. Povedlo se vlastně všechno - masivní zvuk, stylový motiv na obalu, ale hlavně nápady, kterých je na albu velké množství. CARTILAGE na to jdou poctivě, opravdově, uvěřitelně. Jedná se o zkušené maniaky, kteří moc dobře vědí, co a jak chtějí hrát. Navíc přidávají pořádnou porci sebe samých. Maso je zde odtrháváno od kostí, mozek už dávno není v lebce a střeva se kroutí v bolestivých křečích. Pokud máte tenhle styl rádi, rozhodně neváhejte. Je to masakr se vším, co k tomu patří. Ostrá, divoká, zahnívající death grindová pitva! Skalpel vám bude zabodnut hluboko do vnitřností!

Because California's CARTILAGE are releasing a new EP that, when you listen to it, will settle that strange unease in your gut that accompanies all good albums. It's a wild ride from start to finish. It's an honest and insane dissection on a still slightly alive body. A sharp, uncompromising attack that will totally destroy you. At least that's what happened to me.
Just to be clear. This record has a clear genetic origin. If you like and are often in the company of the likes of CARCASS, EXHUMED, GENERAL SURGERY, IMPALED, HAEMORRHAGE, IMPETIGO, MORTICIAN, then this year's release from these madmen is a clear choice for you. The songs have the necessary drive and power in them, the kind of accumulated anger and frustration that always has to come out eventually. This is simply music for Friday night parties, with hectolitres of alcohol, with a moshpit that makes your bones crack. Five short, sharp tracks that have plenty of gore, death and bad blood. This is, in short, music to apply on a Friday when you're dragging like a stinker tired of work. Are you sick of politics, fake smiles, lies and hate? Do you need to relax? Then I recommend this EP and volume well to the right. I can imagine a smaller club where only true believers, undead and zombies go. When the first riff from this record hits, all hell breaks loose. People flying through the air, adrenaline everywhere. It's in these moments that "Tales from the Entrails: A Necrology" stands out the most. Everything works - the massive sound, the stylish motif on the cover, but most of all the ideas, of which there are a lot on the album. CARTILAGE go at it honestly, genuinely, believably. These are experienced maniacs who know very well what and how they want to play. Moreover, they add a good portion of themselves. The flesh is being ripped from the bones here, the brains are long gone from the skull and the guts are writhing in painful spasms. If you like this style, don't hesitate. It's a massacre with everything that goes with it. A sharp, ferocious, rotting death grind dissection! The scalpel will be stuck deep into your guts!
