Kosti chřestí ve větru. Hlava se houpe, nabodnutá na kůlu. Právě otřel nůž od krve. V očích má oheň a nenávist. Marně přemýšlíš, kdy se to stalo. Kdy se začalo tolik šířit zla? Odpovědi nepřicházejí. Kamenný oltář pamatuje již mnohé. Probudíš se z noční můry a realita je ještě horší, krutější. Zapneš play a z reproduktorů k tobě přijde inferno. Nové album "The Age of the Offended" norských CADAVER opět hoří jasným plamenem.

Vždycky, když od téhle smečky slyším něco nového, neustále se ohlížím za sebe. Jestli tam nejsou démoni. Mohli by mě probodnout rezavým nožem, úplně stejně, jako se to stalo u poslechu letošní novinky. Představte si absolutní tmu a chlad. Zazní první riff a vy jste navěky ztraceni, amen!

Kapela se opět pohybuje na hranicích mezi death metalem, blackem a thrashem. Pánové mají natolik výrazný a originální rukopis, že je poznáte během několika okamžiků. Osobně se mi líbí nejen zvuk (Adair Daufembach - Engineering, Mixing, Mastering, Producer), ale i grafická podoba, pod kterou jsou podepsání Khaine Al Hazared (cover) a AJ Loeb (layout). Všichni odvedli perfektní práci. Není to ale jenom řemeslo, které se povedlo. Hlavní je vždy hudba a ta je nesmírně tajemná, záhadná, magická. Jako bych byl opravdu na nějakém starodávném a ošklivém rituálu. Doslova cítím ze skladeb nářek obětí, strach a vztek. Na povrch vylézají zvířecí pudy a reflexy. Stylově si potom můžete pochutnat na koktejlu umíchaného z norského blacku, švédského kovu smrti, starých CARCASS, ale i ozvěn z floridských bažin. Myslím si, že každý si najde to svoje, deska je morbidně pestrá a stále se něco děje. Dejte si svůj vlastní kus zkaženého masa, na kterém si pochutnáte. Zároveň se nahrávka poslouchá velmi dobře. Anders Odden a jeho věrní nám vyprávějí děsivé příběhy, které ihned zaujmou a doslova vás vtáhnou do děje. O současných extrémních myslitelích, o slepých cestách a zhoubných nápadech. Koneckonců, největší zlo se ukrývá v nás samých. Je až fascinující, v jaké formě kapela je. Po tolika letech na scéně působí jako politá mrtvou vodou. Motivy na této desce mi připadají, jako bych je znal, přesto jsou morbidně svěží a zajímavé, nové. Pronikly mi do krve, jako prudký jed, jako nahrubo nasekaná tma. Kosti chřestí ve větru. Hlava se houpe, nabodnutá na kůlu. Právě otřel nůž od krve. V očích má oheň a nenávist. Marně přemýšlíš, kdy se to stalo. Kdy se začalo tolik šířit zla? Odpovědi nepřicházejí. Démoni temnoty se vrátili, aby vás spálili na popel! Tajemné, děsivé ozvěny z onoho světa!

Every time I hear something new from this pack, I keep looking back. If there are no demons. They could stab me with a rusty knife, just like they did while listening to this year's new release. Imagine absolute darkness and cold. The first riff hits and you're lost forever, amen!

The band is again on the border between death metal, black and thrash. The gentlemen have such a distinctive and original signature that you can recognize them in a few moments. Personally, I like not only the sound (Adair Daufembach - Engineering, Mixing, Mastering, Producer), but also the artwork, which is signed by Khaine Al Hazared (cover) and AJ Loeb (layout). They all did a perfect job. But it's not just the craftsmanship that's done well. The main thing is always the music and it is extremely mysterious, enigmatic, magical. It's like I'm really at some ancient and ugly ritual. I can literally feel the lamentations of the victims, the fear and anger from the songs. The animal instincts and reflexes come to the surface. In style, you can then enjoy a cocktail mixed from Norwegian black metal, Swedish death metal, old CARCASS, as well as echoes from the Florida swamps. I think there's something for everyone, the record is morbidly varied and there's always something going on. Have your own piece of rotten meat to enjoy. At the same time the recording is very easy to listen to. Anders Odden and his faithful tell us terrifying stories that immediately captivate and literally draw you into the story. About contemporary extreme thinkers, blind alleys and pernicious ideas. After all, the greatest evil lies within ourselves. It's fascinating what kind of shape the band is in. After so many years on the scene, it's like dead water has been poured on it. The motifs on this record feel like I know them, yet they are morbidly fresh and interesting, new.
