Konečně je ráno a můžu ulehnout do své staré rakve. Už dávno mě děsí světlo a současný svět plný nenávisti. Lidé bez tváře a bez názoru, toužící pouze po krvi, se toulají ulicemi. Bez cíle, bez naděje. Ještě, že tu máme hudbu, ke které se můžeme vrátit. Španělští YSKELGROTH jsou zpět! A opět nám přinášejí krutou a děsivou dávku absolutního black metalu, deathu a nihilismu. Smrt je zde podávána velmi uvěřitelně a přesvědčivě. Plamen vás spálí na popel!

A to všechno za zvuků nové desky "Bleeding of the Hideous", která je volným pokračováním věcí minulých. Jak je všeobecně známo, tak pod touhle smečkou jsou podepsání zkušení muzikanti, na které je spolehnutí. Dave Rotten z AVULSED u mikrofonu, Vicente J. u basy a kytary (UNBOUNDED TERROR). Dvojici těchto šílenců pak doplňuje bubeník Javier Fernández, který má v těle dynamit. Druhé dlouhohrající album, další hřeby do rakve.

YSKELGROTH jsou letos naštvaní, vzteklí, zabijáčtí a s ničím se moc nepářou. Novinka je pekelnou jízdou od začátku do konce. Agresivní riffy, nasáklé zkaženou krví, mrtvolný vokál, drtivé bicí, tohle všechno nechá vzpomenout na klasiky žánru. Španělé ale mají svůj vlastní výraz, poznáte je ihned mezi jinými. Hodně tomu napomáhá masivní, chladný a démonický zvuk. Vše potom doplňuje obal, pod kterým je podepsán skvělý umělec John Quevedo Janssens z Venezuely. Motiv přesně vystihuje to, co se na albu odehrává. Surový útok starých zkušených psů, kteří moc dobře vědí, co a jak chtějí hrát. Hlavní motivy skladeb jsem si zapamatoval během několika poslechů. Zůstaly mi v hlavě jako nějaký cejch, který mi tam kapela vypálila. Už teď si troufám tvrdit, že se budu k "Bleeding of the Hideous" rád a často vracet. Celá nahrávka působí velmi kompaktně, vznešeně a děsivě zároveň. Zachovává si majestátnost temnoty i prašivou špínu hnilobné a bolestivé smrti. Pokud máte podobnou muziku rádi, tak neváhejte ani chvilku. Už je čas ulehnout do rakví a pustit si novou desku pořádně nahlas. Jsem moc rád, že se zrovna tahle smečky vrátila po dlouhých letech hibernace. Jejich hudba je totiž přesně tou, kterou si rád a s chutí pouštím uprostřed noci, když tančí démoni. Infernální, nihilistická, black metalová seance s děsivými temnými silami!

As is common knowledge, this pack is signed by experienced musicians who can be counted on. Dave Rotten of AVULSED on microphone, Vicente J. on bass and guitar (UNBOUNDED TERROR). The pair of these madmen are then complemented by drummer Javier Fernández, who has dynamite in his body. Second full-length album, more nails in the coffin.

YSKELGROTH are pissed off, angry, killer, and not really messing with anything this year. The novelty is a hell of a ride from start to finish. Aggressive riffs, soaked in tainted blood, deadpan vocals, crushing drums, all of this will leave you remembering the classics of the genre. But the Spaniards have their own expression, you will recognize them immediately among others. The massive, cold and demonic sound helps a lot. Everything is then complemented by the cover artwork, signed by the great artist John Quevedo Janssens from Venezuela. The motif accurately describes what is happening on the album. A raw attack of old experienced dogs who know very well what and how they want to play. I memorized the main themes of the songs in a few listens. They stayed in my head like some kind of mark that the band burned in. Already now I dare to say that I will come back to "Bleeding of the Hideous" often. The whole record feels very compact, sublime and terrifying at the same time. It retains the majesty of darkness and the grimy grime of rotten and painful death. If you like music like this, don't hesitate a moment. It's time to lay back in your coffins and turn the new record up real loud. I'm so glad this particular pack is back after years of hibernation. Their music is exactly what I like to play in the middle of the night when the demons are dancing. Infernal, nihilistic, black metal séance with terrifying dark forces!
