Krvavá stopa, zápach smrti. Další mrtvé tělo, další prokousnuté hrdlo. Ztraceni v temných uličkách, čekáme na bestii ze starých mýtů. Přímo před očima nám ožívají rituály, které jsou plné násilí, zla a tmy. Jako death metal, který hrají američtí VRENTH. Kapela, která letos znovu vylezla ze smradlavých močálů, aby nám předložila album, u kterého praskají víka od rakví.
Hudba na mě působí jako nějaká tajemná modlitba pro vyvolávání temných sil. Rouhání, hniloba, pach rozkládajících se těl. Z některých z nás se staly bestie, toužící po krvi. Mám rád smrtící kov z devadesátých let. A VRENTH jej hrají výborně. Poctivě, se šíleným pohledem. "Succumb to Chaos" je jako jed, který vám pronikne do žil. Zemřete v hrozných křečích!
"Succumb to Chaos" na mě působí jako ozvěny z toho nejhlubšího podzemí. Ze starých katakomb, ze kterých kdysi vzešly kapely jako DISMA, INCANTATION, IMPRECATION, FUNEBRARUM, DEMIGOD, DEAD CONGREGATION, DEMIGOD, BRUTALITY. VRENTH mají v sobě navíc talent a pořádnou porci vzteku. Zvuk i obal jsou poctivé, zajímavé a maniakální. Přesně tak to mám nejraději. K albu se stále vracím, připadám si jako archeolog, který odkrývá jednotlivé vrstvy. Další prašivé kosti, další prostřelené lebky. Hromadné hroby vydávají další svědectví. Stejně jako "Succumb to Chaos". Nahrávka, která mi vypálila do kůže cejch. Krvavá stopa, zápach smrti. Další mrtvé tělo, další prokousnuté hrdlo. Ztraceni v temných uličkách, čekáme na bestii ze starých mýtů. Teď už znám její jméno - VRENTH. Šílení démoni ze starých časů, z pohřebišť, kde byly pochováváni pouze prokletí. Poslech mi připomíná exhumaci dávno opuštěného hrobu, ve kterém je pohřbena spousta děsivých vzpomínek. Pánové sice nepřinášejí do záhrobí nic nového, ale hrají poctivě, od srdce. Bylo mi velkou ctí, navštívit s nimi temné ulice Hádovy říše, projít se v nekonečných močálech nicoty. Existuje už jenom tma, špína a hnis. A smrtící kov, který mě přikoval ke zdi. Výborně! Hnilobný death metal ze smradlavých bažin!

Rituals come to life right before our eyes, full of violence, evil and darkness. Like the death metal played by the American VRENTH, a band that has once again emerged from the stinking swamps this year to present us with an album that cracks coffin lids.
The music strikes me as some kind of mysterious prayer to invoke dark forces. Blasphemy, rot, the smell of decomposing bodies. Some of us have become beasts, out for blood. I like the death metal of the '90s. And VRENTH play it well. Honestly, with a crazy look. "Succumb to Chaos" is like a poison that gets into your veins. You'll die in terrible convulsions!
"Succumb to Chaos" strikes me as echoes from the deepest underground. From the old catacombs from which bands like DISMA, INCANTATION, IMPRECATION, FUNEBRARUM, DEMIGOD, DEAD CONGREGATION, DEMIGOD, BRUTALITY once emerged. VRENTH have extra talent and a good portion of rage. The sound and cover art are honest, interesting and manic. That's how I like it best. I keep coming back to the album, feeling like an archaeologist uncovering the layers. More scabby bones, more shot skulls. The mass graves give further testimony. Just like "Succumb to Chaos". A record that burned a mark into my skin. The trail of blood, the smell of death. Another dead body, another bitten throat. Lost in the dark alleys, waiting for the beast from the old myths. Now I know its name - VRENTH. The mad demons of old, from the burial grounds where only the damned were buried. Listening to them reminds me of exhuming a long-abandoned grave, where many terrifying memories are buried. The gentlemen may not bring anything new to the grave, but they play honestly, from the heart. It was a great honour to visit the dark streets of Hades with them, to walk in the endless swamps of nothingness. There is only darkness, filth and pus. And the deadly metal that chained me to the wall. Well done! Rotten death metal from the stinking swamps!
