Mluvil vždy velmi krásně. Usmíval se, tvářil se mile. Každou neděli se loučil se svými ovečkami a ony odcházely domů očištěné od hříchů celého světa. Jakmile se zavřely dveře za posledním návštěvníkem, začal se smát jedovatým smíchem. Cestou dolů do sklepa, ve kterém měl svoji vlastní mučírnu, se postupně měnil v bestii. Měl dávno připravené všechny nástroje. Těšil se na vyděšené oči obětí, na jejich bolest a strach.
Jsou black metalové kapely, které ve mě dokáží podobné představy probudit. Stačí si přečíst večerní zprávy a najednou máte chuť si pustit něco ostrého, temného, melodického. Něco, abyste mohli plivnout do ksichtu všem padlým kněžím. Je tu nové album holandských SEROTONIN. Myslím, že pokud máte tenhle styl rádi, bude vám určitě chutnat.
Na novince je totiž spousta silných, podmanivých melodií, mrazivá atmosféra, chorobné vokály. Jakoby mě SEROTONIN vzali do doby, kdy v Evropě vládla inkvizice. Síla téhle desky je v do černé zabarvených náladách. Vše plyne tak nějak samozřejmě, přesto neklidně. Naleznete zde spoustu zajímavých momentů. Pokud máte rádi staré kostely a přilehlé hřbitovy, tak neváhejte ani chvilku. Myslím si, že stejně jako fanoušci třeba takových OFERMOD, KHOLD, SHINING, SULPHUR AEON, budete nadmíru spokojeni. Skladby jsou napsány s jediným účelem, strhnout vás do hlubiny, dupnout vám ocelovou botou na hrudník, až ztratíte dech. Osvědčil se mi poslech v naprosté tmě, nejlépe uprostřed noci, kdy do ulic vyrážejí přízraky. Zvuk (Mixed by Magnus Devo Andersson at Endarker Studios (Marduk, Ofermod, Count Raven etc) and mastered by Greg Chandler at Priory Recording Studios (Code, Alkerdeel, Ungfell etc), obal, i další formální věci jsou v naprostém pořádku. V klidu si můžete všechno vychutnat, postupně přidávat hlasitost, řvát do tmy, kývat se do rytmu. Nic není nemožné. Líbí se mi určitý neklid, chvění, pradávná síla, načerpaná snad v samotném podsvětí, která se vine celým albem jako jedovatý had. Mám pocit, že rozmlouvám se samotnými démony, že se Satan usmívá a Smrt se těší na spoustu dalších společných zážitků. Myslím si, že by se novinka mohla líbit nejen všem fanouškům žánru, ale i těm, kteří byli prokleti. Až navěky, amen. Zlověstný, jedovatý, chladný black metal, který vás uvrhne do hlubiny! Absolutní tma!

There are black metal bands that can awaken similar images in me. You read the evening news and suddenly you want to listen to something sharp, dark, melodic. Something to spit in the face of all the fallen priests. There's a new album from the Dutch SEROTONIN. I think if you like this style, you'll like it.
There are a lot of strong, captivating melodies, chilling atmosphere, and sick vocals on the new album. It's like SEROTONIN took me back to the time when the Inquisition ruled Europe. The strength of this record is in the black-tinged moods. Everything flows somehow naturally, yet restlessly. You will find a lot of interesting moments here. If you like old churches and adjacent cemeteries, don't hesitate a moment. I think you will be extremely satisfied, just like fans of such bands as OFERMOD, KHOLD, SHINING, SULPHUR AEON. The songs are written with one purpose, to pull you into the deep, to stomp on your chest with a steel boot until you lose your breath. Listening in total darkness, preferably in the middle of the night when the ghosts are hitting the streets, has proven to be a great experience for me. The sound (Mixed by Magnus Devo Andersson at Endarker Studios (Marduk, Ofermod, Count Raven etc) and mastered by Greg Chandler at Priory Recording Studios (Code, Alkerdeel, Ungfell etc)), the cover art, and other formal stuff are all in perfect order. You can enjoy everything in peace, gradually turning up the volume, screaming into the darkness, swaying to the beat. Nothing is impossible. I like a certain restlessness, a trembling, an ancient power, drawn perhaps from the underworld itself, that winds through the whole album like a poisonous snake. I feel like I'm talking to the demons themselves, that Satan is smiling and Death is looking forward to many more experiences together. I think the novelty might appeal to all fans of the genre, as well as those who have been cursed. Forever and ever, amen. Sinister, venomous, cold black metal that will plunge you into the depths! Absolute darkness!
