Stačí jeden úder a lebka je proražena. Stačí jeden riff a kosti jsou zlámány. Ve starých katakombách, ve kterých jsou pohřbíváni jenom prokletí. Je tu zima a chlad a po zdech stéká hnis. Pod nohama se mi plazí jedovatí hadi. Když mě uštknout a jed mi začne pronikat do žil, cítím se úplně stejně jako při poslechu britských INCARCERATED. Ti se inspirovali ve starém prašivém thrash a death metalu z devadesátých let minulého století.
Nutné je rovnou napsat, že se mi jejich nové, stejnojmenné EP líbí. Má v sobě pověstný smrad z exhumovaných hrobů. Pokud jste ve svém mládí stejně jako já vyznávali ocelovou německou školu (SODOM, PROTECTOR) a užívali jste si i základy death metalových obřadů jako MASSACRE, PESTILENCE, tak si budete ihned podupávat do rytmu a bouchat pěstí do rytmu.
Proti zvuku, ani obalu nemám žádné námitky. Vše sedí přesně na svých místech, jak má a myslím si, že nahrávku ocení všechny old schoolové krysy. Měl bych snad jen jednu drobnou připomínku. Některé skladby jsou možná až příliš dlouhé, songy tím trošku ztrácí na intenzitě. Berte to ale tak, že slyším každý den spoustu nové muziky a moje uši jsou již značně zmlsané. Rád bych viděl tuhle smečku naživo, nejlépe v malém sklepním klubu, kde musí jejich hudba řezat tou správnou stranou nože. Nejvíc se mi asi líbí odhodlání a nadšení. Zkrátka jednoduše, žádné kompromisy, žádné zbytečnost, ale poctivý, reálný atak na vaše sluchovody. EP jsem poslouchal často i cestou do práce a pokaždé, když jsem šel kolem nemocnice, tak bylo pootevřeno okno do márnice. Měl jsem pocit, že mrtví ožijí a skočí mi po krku. Britům se povedlo zhmotnit temnou energii. A o to nám jde přeci nejvíce. Pánové sice nepřinášejí nic nového, ani převratného, ale novinka není jen dobrým řemeslem. Má v sobě něco navíc, co se těžko definuje. Praví fanoušci metalu ale určitě moc dobře vědí, o čem píšu. Máme rádi, když nás zvedne muzika ze židle, donutí nás mávat hlavou, skákat po pokoji a neustále přidávat hlasitost. Ano, INCARCERATED tohle všechno umí a mě nezbývá nic jiného, než vám je doporučit. Stačí jeden úder a lebka je proražena. Stačí jeden riff a kosti jsou zlámány. Masakr v kobce! Krvavý thrash death metalový útok!

One punch and the skull is cracked. One riff and the bones are broken. In the old catacombs where only the damned are buried. It's cold and chilly and pus drips down the walls. Poisonous snakes slither under my feet. When I'm bitten and the venom starts to seep into my veins, I feel exactly the same as when I listen to the British INCARCERATED. They took inspiration from the old grimy thrash and death metal of the 1990s.
It is necessary to write straight away that I like their new, self-titled EP. It has the proverbial stink of exhumed graves. If, like me, you professed the steely German school in your youth (SODOM, PROTECTOR) and enjoyed the basics of death metal rites like MASSACRE, PESTILENCE, you'll be stomping your feet and pounding your fist to the beat immediately.
I have no objections to the sound or the cover. Everything fits exactly as it should and I think that all old school rats will appreciate the recording. I would have perhaps only one small comment. Some of the tracks are maybe a bit too long, the songs lose a bit of intensity. But take it from me, I hear a lot of new music every day and my ears are already considerably jaded. I'd love to see this band live, preferably in a small basement club where their music has to cut with the right side of the knife. I think what I like most is the determination and enthusiasm. Simply put, no compromise, no frills, but an honest, real attack on your ear canals. I listened to the EP often on the way to work and every time I passed a hospital, the window to the morgue was cracked open. I felt like the dead were going to come back to life and jump down my throat. The Brits managed to materialize a dark energy. That's what we're all about. The gentlemen bring nothing new or groundbreaking, but novelty is not just good craft. It has something extra that is hard to define. But true metal fans know what I'm writing about. We love it when music gets us up out of our chairs, makes us headbang, bounce around the room and constantly turn up the volume. Yes, INCARCERATED can do all that and I have no choice but to recommend them to you. It only takes one punch and your skull is cracked open. One riff and bones are broken. Massacre in the dungeon! A bloody thrash death metal attack!
