Některé tváře prokletých jsou zohavené tak, že jsou k nepoznání. Podle prvotního ohledání šlo zjistit, že za svého života prováděli spoustu temných a krvavých rituálů. Odsouzeni k dlouhému umírání, zavřeni ve starých katakombách, letos povstali, aby se pomstili za všechny křivdy. GENOCIDAL RITES jsou black metalovou četou zkušených válečníků. Jedná se o vyslance samotného pekla, kteří se rozhodli nás letos spálit na popel svým prvním dlouhohrajícím albem.
Je to ostrý, nekompromisní útok, po okraj narvaný zlostí, hnilobou, nihilismem a zkaženým masem. Nic pro slabé povahy, nic pro tupý dav věřících, kteří se stále modlí k dávno padlým modlám. Je to divoká hudba, surová, je to ostrá mačeta, kterou vás kapela zaživa vyvrhne. Zapalte ohně, válka s nebem opět začíná.

Pokud se rádi a často procházíte po hřbitovech a stále hledáte vstup do záhrobí, potom jste zde správně. Pánové vás vezmou na výlet bez konce. Uvidíte zohavená těla prokletých, setkáte se s vlastními démony, zažijete prvotní chaos, nihilismus, potkáte pradávná božstva, abyste se nakonec utopili ve špinavé stoce. Prosévám mezi prsty prach předků, kteří se kdysi dávno protivili Bohu i slepé víře. Užívám si tenhle surový black metal, zavírám se do chladné cely a zjišťuji, že pro poslech opravdu potřebuji ticho, chlad a absolutní tmu. Smrt je hodně blízko, kostely zase jednou hoří spravedlivým ohněm. Kříže jsou obráceny směrem dolů a svěcená voda se vaří nenávistí. O zvuku, obalu a dalších formálních věcech, není nutné diskutovat - vše je v absolutním pořádku a vy se tak můžete soustředit na mrtvolně zahnívající atmosféru celého alba. Some of the faces of the damned are disfigured beyond recognition. Initial examination revealed that they performed many dark and bloody rituals during their lifetime. Condemned to a long death, locked in the old catacombs, they rose this year to avenge all wrongs. GENOCIDAL RITES are a black metal squad of seasoned warriors. They are emissaries of hell itself, who decided to burn us to ashes this year with their first full-length album.
It's a sharp, uncompromising attack, packed to the brim with anger, rot, nihilism and corrupted flesh. Nothing for the faint of heart, nothing for the dull crowd of believers who still pray to long fallen idols. You will see the mutilated bodies of the damned, encounter your own demons, experience primal chaos, nihilism, meet ancient deities, only to drown in a filthy sewer at the end. I sift through the dust of ancestors who long ago opposed God and blind faith. I'm enjoying this raw black metal, locking myself in a cold cell and finding that I really need silence, coldness and absolute darkness to listen. Death is very near, the churches are burning with righteous fire once again. The crosses are turned upside down and the holy water boils with hatred. There's no need to discuss the sound, the cover art and other formal things - everything is absolutely fine, so you can concentrate on the dead rotting atmosphere of the whole album.
