Když praskla první rakev, tak to nikomu nepřipadalo divné. Začalo to, stejně jako vše zlé, pomalu, postupně. Zpočátku jsem nic nevnímal. Každý den jsem sestoupil dolů, do chrámu bolesti a udělal jsem, co bylo třeba. Nepřemýšlel jsem, jednal spíše automaticky. Jenže pak jsem poprvé slyšel novou desku FATHOMLESS RITUAL a vše bylo zcela jinak. Tichý šepot nemrtvých se změnil v drásavý řev bestie. Z rakví vylezly mrtvoly a začaly tančit ve zběsilých rytmech. Když jsem slyšel album poprvé, málem se mi zastavilo srdce. V žilách mi koloval led a všechna světla dávno zhasla.
Absolutní tma, špína a hnus, vytažené z pradávných jeskyní. To mě napadá jako první, když novinku poslouchám. Smrt chodí kolem a usmívá se. Svět je náhle zahalen do černých mraků a ostré riffy se mi doslova zadírají do mozku. Skvěle napsané, majestátní skladby, potvrzují mi všichni démoni.
Pod všemi nástroji i vokálem je podepsán B. Dean (Gutvoid, Fumes, Pukewraith) - Vocals, Guitars, Bass, Drum Programming. Ten odvedl skvělou práci. Album, nejen že má dobrý zvuk a zajímavý obal (Marcio Blasphemator (Autophagy)), ale hlavně dostanete obrovskou porci zajímavých děsivých momentů. Budete zahaleni do krvavé mlhy a budete si užívat jednotlivé pasáže, které jsou volně inspirovány kapelami DEMILICH, DEAD AND DRIPPING, MORTIFERUM, CRYPTWORM, DEAD, ADRAMELECH, CHTHE'ILIST. Osobně si potom při poslechu nejčastěji představuji, že běžím tmou. Hluboko pod zemí. Dostávám se do jiných, temných světů, do dimenzí, ve kterých je jenom bolest, strach a nenávist. Stávám se pomalu stínem, přízrakem, který se topí v močálech, padá do hlubiny, houpe se oběšený v korunách stromů. Jedná se o debutové album a to většinou přivírám trošku oči, jsem shovívavý, ale tentokrát vůbec nemusím. Jde totiž o velmi profesionálně zahranou hudbu, která má vlastní názor i ksicht. Jsem vždy velmi rád, když se někdo snaží posunout smrtící kov trošku dál, překročit hranice i svůj vlastní stín. Myslím si, že se všechno tohle FATHOMLESS RITUAL povedlo na výbornou. Možná se svět dnes otáčí trošku jiným směrem, ale podobné desky budu vždy rád poslouchat. Mají v sobě totiž něco magického, záhadného, odlišného. When the first coffin burst, no one thought it was strange. It started, like everything bad, slowly, gradually. At first, I didn't notice anything. Every day I went down to the temple of pain and did what I had to do. I didn't think, I acted rather automatically. But then I heard the new FATHOMLESS RITUAL album for the first time and everything was completely different. The silent whisper of the undead turned into the gut-wrenching roar of a beast. The corpses crawled out of the coffins and began to dance to frantic rhythms. When I first heard the album, my heart almost stopped. I had ice in my veins and all the lights had long since gone out.
Absolute darkness, filth and filth, pulled out of ancient caves. That's the first thing that comes to mind when I listen to the new album. Death walks around and smiles. The world is suddenly shrouded in black clouds and the sharp riffs are literally digging into my brain. Brilliantly written, majestic songs, all demons confirm to me.
All instruments and vocals are signed by B. Dean (Gutvoid, Fumes, Pukewraith) - Vocals, Guitars, Bass, Drum Programming. He did a great job. The album, not only has a good sound and an interesting cover (Marcio Blasphemator (Autophagy)), but mainly you get a huge portion of interesting scary moments. You'll be enveloped in a bloody fog and you'll enjoy the individual passages that are loosely inspired by DEMILICH, DEAD AND DRIPPING, MORTIFERUM, CRYPTWORM, DEAD, ADRAMELECH, CHTHE'ILIST. Personally, when I listen to them, I most often imagine that I am running in the dark. Deep underground. I'm getting into other, dark worlds, dimensions where there is only pain, fear and hatred. I slowly become a shadow, a ghost drowning in the swamps, falling into the depths, swinging suspended in the treetops. This is a debut album and I usually turn a little blind eye, I'm indulgent, but this time I don't have to at all. This is, after all, very professionally played music that has a point of view and a face of its own. I'm always very happy when someone tries to push the death metal a little further, to cross the boundaries and their own shadow. I think that FATHOMLESS RITUAL has done all of this very well. Maybe the world is turning in a slightly different direction nowadays, but I'll always love to listen to records like this. They have something magical, mysterious, different.
