Ave, can you introduce your band to our readers? – When was it founded and what style of music do you play etc.?

Bloodmessiah was founded in 2016 by Ronnie Parmer. We are an old school death metal band from Florida

Where and under what conditions were you recording the new album? Who was in charge of sound, production and mastering?

This new album was wrote for Amon. It was intended to be put out under Amon with the Hoffman Brothers but due to unforseen circumstances Mike and I decided it would be best to do it under Bloodmessiah. The new album was recorded at Audial Warfare Productions in Tampa Florida with Ronnie Parmer at the helm. All mixing and mastering and final production was done by Jarrett Pritchard and New Constellation Studios in Orlando Florida.


How many copies were released and which medium was used for this new edition (CD, digital, vinyl, cassette)?

I believe there was 1,000 released in cd format and vinyls are in the process now of being made due to the long wait times.

Who is the author of the lyrics and how were they created and about what do the lyrics deal with?

All lyrics wrote by Mike Vredeveld. They were created out of the sheer disgust for how the church's essentially brainwash people to live in fear while profiting off that fear. Forcing a created belief system to benefit themselves

Who created the logo of the band, and who took care of the graphics and the website? What about you and social networks? Do you consider these things important?

Jorge Vimendy of sick graphics came up with the logo. Jorge also did the album art/graphics. Social networks I believe is a great tool to help people all around the world find your music and connect with bands.


Which label did you choose for releasing your album and why this label? Are you satisfied by how your label represents you and takés care about you?

We had a few different labels in mind including CDN. We went with CDN Records because Craig Newman was on point with getting back to us and drawing up a contract and setting everything up. They have been absolutely great to work with and we are very happy it ended up on CDN.

Which bands do you idolise and where do you get your inspiration?

This could be a long list but I’ll keep it short. Inspiration for this album and previous album comes from bands such as Morbid Angel, Obituary, Angelcorpse, Deicide, Cannibal Corpse, Amon to name a few.

Did you send your record to some Labels - which are the labels? How was the response?

We sent it to a few labels like Dark Decent, Earache records, Hells Headbangers, CDN and a few others. The responses were great but CDN was more on the ball to reply and get a contract drawn up.


How many gigs have you played? Which type of gigs do you prefer, whether it's (clubs or festivals) and which of your performances would you consider as the best?

As of right now there have been no live shows but will be in the future. This started out as a project that myself and Mike vredeveld wanted to do to put something out of our own and it seems to be growing more than we anticipated so a live lineup will ensue.

What about your plans for the future? What do you want to achieve with the band?

Our plan is to get a live lineup and start doing shows, tours and festivals. Put out more albums and make a mark on this world with our music.

Dům hluboko v močálech, kam se jen tak nedostanete. U vchodu visí lidské kosti, lebky jsou vyskládány v úhledných pyramidách. Pach smrti se vznáší všude kolem jako těžký mrak. Na některých místech lze potkat zaschlé stopy krve. Zde ukrýval své oběti, tady je připravoval na starodávné rituály. Nadechnu se a dostanu strach. Mám neodbytný pocit, že mě někdo pozoruje. Ostré bolesti, která mi projede mezi žebry, si nejdříve nevšimnu. Jsem další na řadě. Už to nebude dlouho trvat a ocitnu se v zemi nekonečných stínů. 

Pomůže mi v tom i druhá řadová deska amerických BLOODMESSIAH. Kapely, která bezezbytku ctí starý, surový a bestiální death metal. Nedočkáte se žádných kompromisů ani zbytečností. Budete rovnou popraveni lavinou ostrých riffů. Masakr!

Stylově lze tvorbu BLOODMESSIAH připodobnit tomu, co tvořili a tvoří smečky jako DEICIDE, AMON, ANGEL CORPSE, BRUTALITY. Kapela je složena ze zkušených muzikantů (Ron Parmer, Mike Vredeveld), kteří přesně vědí co a jak chtějí hrát. Už jenom zvuk (mix, mastering Jarrett Pritchard) vás smete z povrchu zemského. Mohutný, mocný, masivní, ostrý a temný zároveň. Přidejte si spoustu nápadů, kterými pánové doslova oplývají. Obal s démonem z těch nejděsivějších nočních můr. Tohle vše dohromady je komplexním dílem. Není to ale jen mistrovské provedení, ale i živočišnost, tlak, energie, touha po čerstvém mase. Z desky smrdí síra na sto honů. Jsem při poslechu opravdu někde hluboko v močálech, u domu, kde se děly šílené věci. Když "Denounce Your God" poslouchám víc a víc, tak si připadám jako svázaný někde v plesnivé kobce, kde jsou mi do hlavy zabodávány rezavé hřeby. Další song, další ostrý hrot. Přidávám hlasitost a fascinuje mě zuřivost, nakumulovaná agrese, které se povedly BLOODMESSIAH do songů doslova narvat. Deska drží pohromadě jako čerstvě sešitá mrtvola. Pokud chcete vědět, jakou podobu má samotný Satan, tak neváhejte ani chvilku, tahle nahrávka vás sežehne černým plamenem. Ďábelský death metalový rituál!

A house deep in the swamps, where you can't get anywhere. Human bones hang at the entrance, skulls stacked in neat pyramids. The smell of death hovers all around like a heavy cloud. In some places, you can see dried traces of blood. This is where he hid his victims, where he prepared them for ancient rituals. I take a breath and I get scared. In terms of style, BLOODMESSIAH's work can be likened to what packs like DEICIDE, AMON, ANGEL CORPSE, BRUTALITY were and are doing. The band is composed of experienced musicians (Ron Parmer, Mike Vredeveld) who know exactly what and how they want to play. The sound alone (mix, mastering by Jarrett Pritchard) will blow you away. Massive, powerful, massive, sharp and dark at the same time. Add a lot of ideas, which the gentlemen are literally brimming with. A cover with a demon from the most terrifying nightmares. All of this together is a complex piece of work. But it's not just the masterful execution, it's the animalism, the pressure, the energy, the desire for fresh meat. The record reeks of brimstone. I'm really somewhere deep in the swamps listening to it, at a house where crazy things have happened. As I listen to "Denounce Your God" more and more, I feel like I'm tied up in a moldy dungeon somewhere with rusty spikes being driven into my head. Another song, another sharp spike. I turn up the volume and am fascinated by the fury, the accumulated aggression that BLOODMESSIAH has managed to literally cram into the songs. The record holds together like a freshly stitched corpse. If you want to know what form Satan himself takes, don't hesitate a moment, this record will burn you with black flame. An evil death metal ritual!
