Cítil jsem pach spáleného masa. Plameny pomalu olizovaly moje nohy a díval jsem se k nebi. Marně jsem hledal nějakou odpověď. Proč zrovna já, proč jsem prokletý? Dávno mě všichni opustili, nikdo nechtěl být v mé společnosti. Propadl jsem peklu a poslouchal jenom hudbu, u které tančí démoni. Rád a často jsem se procházel temnými chodbami podzemí a hledal nahrávky, které mě dokážou proklít.
Kanadští ADVERSARIAL letos přicházejí se svým třetím dlouhohrajícím albem. A je nutno rovnou dodat, že se jedná o materiál, který smrdí sírou. Ostré riffy, chorobný vokál, atmosféra podobná té, která bývá při inkvizičních rituálech. Budete spáleni na popel. Tahle smečka moc dobře ví o čem je pravý a ryzí black death metal. Tahle kapela uctivá opravdové peklo.
Tohle je stará, poctivá škola, hudba, která se hraje v těch nejtemnějších katakombách. Nemrtví naříkají, postavy v kápích vystupují z mlhy a drží v rukou obrácené kříže. Smrt se usmívá. Není divu, hraje se zde pro ní, i pro všechny nesvaté. Kapela smíchala špínu se zlem a nenávistí. Pod tlakem tuhle směs narvala na album a vše opatřila surovým zvukem (Vadim Balanyuk - recording, mixing, Damian Herring - mastering) a divokou produkcí. Kanaďané mají svůj rukopis, který je volně inspirován tím, co hrají třeba takoví ANGELCORPSE, DIOCLETIAN, DEATHSPELL OMEGA, IMMOLATION, DEAD CONGREGATION, DRAWN AND QUARTERED, MITOCHONDRION, BLASPHEMY a další tmáři. Představte si starou kobku. Po stěnách stéká hnis a krysy zase jednou čekají na čerstvé maso. Někde v těchto místech muselo být nové album "Solitude with the Eternal..." nahráváno. Je totiž velmi naléhavé, syrové, nasáklé obrácenými modlitbami. Připomíná spíše nějaký starodávný obřad, seanci, u které se obětovalo temným silám. Kapela vám vypálí navěky cejch do vašich myšlenek, pohřbí vás zaživa. Už jste si mysleli, že veškeré utrpení skončí, ale není to pravda a nikdy nebude. Vaše tělo bude znovu a znovu exhumováno, aby za zvuků téhle desky navěky bloudilo mezi naším a oním světem. Zmínit musím i velmi povedený obal, jehož autorem je Daniel Desecrator. Nahrávka je určena pro všechny, kteří mají rádi ve své duši chlad a nebojí se zapálit oheň. Kapela je na scéně od roku 2007 a každým albem se zlepšuje, je zlejší, šílenější, démoničtější. This year, Canada's ADVERSARIAL come with their third full-length album. And it should be added right away that this is material that reeks of sulfur. This is old school, honest music played in the darkest catacombs. The undead wail, hooded figures emerge from the fog holding inverted crosses. Death smiles. Imagine an old dungeon. Pus dripping down the walls and rats waiting for fresh meat once again. Somewhere in these places must have been the new album "Solitude with the Eternal..." was recorded. It's very urgent, raw, soaked in converted prayers. It is more like an ancient ceremony, a séance where sacrifices were made to the dark forces.
