Když jsem rozřízl mrtvolu ležící na chladné desce, vylezly z ní tisíce červů. Larvy, kroutící se ve zběsilém rytmu. Pitevní protokol mluvil jasně. Pohlaví - žena. Příčina smrti - děs. Neměla oči, přesto se na mě dívala, měla zašitá ústa, přesto jsem slyšel její hlas. Naposledy se mi to stalo v devadesátých letech minulého století. Když jsem byl na dlouhém výletě na severu Evropy. Ano, tentokrát máme co do činění s black metalem, který je shnilý a prašivý, jako ruka staré mrtvoly.

Vrátili se, aby nám předčítali zvrácené modlitby určené k vyvolání temných sil. Nutno rovnou dodat, že se jim to daří na výbornou.
Je to chlad a absolutní, neproniknutelné tma, které mě doslova pohltily. Tahle deska hoří ryzím, jasným černým plamenem. Surové, ostré melodie, děsivé vokály. Připadám si, jako bych opravdu navštívil starou kobku, do které byly vždy pohřbívány mrtvoly prokletých. Cítím mráz v kostech, kývám se do rytmu, jako zkušený hrobník. V hudbě si už hodně vybírám a ALASTETH mě dostali. Stačilo několik prvních poslechů a ihned jsem věděl, že plujeme na stejné vlně. Vše je zahalené do tajemné, krvavé mlhy. Pánové jsou opravdoví a uvěřitelní. Hrají si nihilistickými náladami jako šelma se svojí kořistí. Navíc umí napsat skladby, které pálí a žhnou. Určitě to znáte. Ten divný pocit v žaludku, když jdete kolem kostela. Chrám lží a nenávisti. Rozhřešení stejně nikdy nedostanete. Za krásnou tváří a milými řečmi se ukrývá přetvářka a klam. Němci na to jdou přímo, bez kompromisů a dělají to velmi návykově. A kříže u toho hoří jasným plamenem! Pokud máte rádi tvorbu třeba takových TAAKE, DARKTHRONE, SATYRICON, potom je tahle rakev i pro vás. "The Nihilism of Alasteth" je sice debutovým albem, ale jsou pod ním podepsáni zkušení muzikanti. Ti si dali velký pozor, aby měli skvělý zvuk, obal i celkovou produkci. Fanoušek dostane přesně to, co si žádá. Starodávný rituál, u kterého praskají kosti. I've made a lot of choices in music and ALASTETH have got me. The first few listens were enough and I immediately knew we were on the same wavelength. Everything is shrouded in a mysterious, bloody fog. The gentlemen are real and believable. They play with nihilistic moods like a beast with its prey. Plus, they can write songs that burn and glow. I'm sure you know the drill. That weird feeling in your stomach when you walk past a church. A temple of lies and hatred. You'll never get absolution anyway. Behind the pretty face and the nice talk, there is hypocrisy and deception. The Germans go straight for it, without compromise, and do it in a very addictive way. And the crosses burn brightly! If you like the work of the likes of TAAKE, DARKTHRONE, SATYRICON, then this coffin is for you too. "The Nihilism of Alasteth" is a debut album, but it is signed by experienced musicians. They have taken great care to have a great sound, cover and overall production. The fan will get exactly what they ask for. An ancient ritual that cracks your bones.
