Stromy se sklánějí nad starým hrobem. Pradávné neštěstí znovu ožívá. Kdysi tě zabil zákeřný vrah a dnes nastal čas pomsty. Tělo s černou duší uvnitř. Pomsta trvala spoustu let, ale čas se konečně naplnil. Přízraky vystupují ze stínů a kývají souhlasně hlavou. Modlitby byly vyslyšeny a ty se tak můžeš soustředit na přechod do země za řekou Styx. Odříkáváš rouhačská slova, kýveš se spokojeně do rytmu. Posloucháš druhé dlouhohrající album argentinských ATAUDES a moc dobře víš, že jejich hudba tě bude provázet na cestě do temnoty.
Vstupuješ dovnitř, zavíráš za sebou rezavé dveře. Po zdech stéká krev a z nekonečných chodeb se ozývá nářek hříšníků. Tohle je black death metal vysoké kvality, který se vám dostane do podvědomí. Zůstane uvnitř vašeho těla jako nějaký krutý jed. Postupně se rozleze do vnitřností, zasáhne mozek a začnete u něj pomalu hnít zaživa. Tohle album má velmi tajemnou, podmanivou a zákeřnou atmosféru.
Kapela vzešla z toho nejhlubšího podzemí a jejich nové album na mě působí jako děsivé ozvěny ze záhrobí. Klasický, tradiční death metal (PURTENANCE, DEPRAVITY, DEMILICH, FUNEBRE) se zde potkává se špinavým black metalem a doomově zastřenou atmosférou. Poslech tak připomíná opravdu návštěvu prokleté kobky, ve které je pochován maniakální vrah. I po letech je z jeho hrobu cítit nenávist, zlo a lidská špína. Když vstoupíte dovnitř, tak se vám v kostech usadí chlad a uslyšíte šepot nemrtvých. Kapela si dala pozor na zvuk, který se opravdu povedl (Loïc F. - mastering). Je masivní, syrový, jakoby umazaný zkaženou krví. Riffy jsou velmi ostré, démonické a vokál připomíná řev bestie. Osobně se mi líbí i motiv na obalu, nad kterým jsem dlouho přemýšlel. Je na něm postava, čelící obrovské vlně. Obraz krásně doplňuje předkládanou hudbu a je pod ním podepsán Gustavo Roberto Mateo. Argentinci letos dodali velmi podmanivý, návykový a uhrančivý materiál. Rád jsem se k nahrávce vracel, nejlépe v noci, když už na hřbitově nebyl nikdo živý. Jenom já a vzpomínky na peklo. "Tempus Edax Rerum" je přesně tím druhem alba, které se bude kolem vás nejdříve plazit jako jedovatý had, aby vás nakonec uštklo a navěky proklelo. Naleznete zde spoustu zajímavých momentů, pasáží, u kterých shoříte zevnitř. Bylo mi velkou ctí přijmout pozvání na tento mrtvolný obřad. Svíce znovu hoří jasným plamenem a peklo otevírá svoje brány. The trees bow over the old grave. An ancient disaster comes to life again. Once a vicious murderer killed you, and now it's time for revenge. A body with a black soul inside. Revenge took many years, but the time has finally come. The ghosts step out of the shadows and nod their heads in agreement. Prayers answered, you can focus on crossing into the land beyond the River Styx. You recite the blasphemous words, swaying contentedly to the rhythm. You listen to the second full-length album from Argentina's ATAUDES, knowing full well that their music will accompany you on your journey into the darkness.
You step inside, closing the rusty door behind you. Blood trickles down the walls and the cries of the wicked echo down the endless corridors. This is high quality black death metal that will get into your subconscious. It stays inside your body like some cruel poison. Gradually, it spreads into your guts, hits your brain and you start to slowly rot alive. This album has a very mysterious, haunting and insidious atmosphere.
The band has emerged from the deepest underground and their new album strikes me as eerie echoes from beyond the grave. Classic, traditional death metal (PURTENANCE, DEPRAVITY, DEMILICH, FUNEBRE) meets dirty black metal and doom-obscured atmosphere. Listening to it is really like visiting a cursed dungeon where a maniacal killer is buried. Even years later, his grave reeks of hatred, evil and human filth. When you step inside, a chill settles in your bones and you hear the whispers of the undead. The band took care of the sound, which was really good (Loïc F. - mastering). It's massive, raw, as if smeared with tainted blood. The riffs are very sharp, demonic and the vocals are reminiscent of the roar of a beast. Personally, I also like the motif on the cover, which I've been thinking about for a long time. There's a figure on it, facing a huge wave. The image beautifully complements the music presented and is signed by Gustavo Roberto Mateo. The Argentinians have delivered some very captivating, addictive and mesmerising material this year. I loved returning to the recording, preferably at night when there was no one alive in the cemetery. Just me and the memories of hell. "Tempus Edax Rerum" is exactly the kind of album that will crawl around you like a venomous snake at first, only to eventually bite you and curse you forever. You will find a lot of interesting moments here, passages that will burn you from the inside. It was a great honour to be invited to this deadly ceremony. The candle burns brightly again and hell opens its gates. All you have to do is enter. The trees bow over the old grave. Ancient misfortune comes alive again.
