Zrození, život a smrt. Nakonec se všichni rozplyneme v temnotě. Spáleni na popel nebo pochováni do chladné země, budeme navěky hnít, rozpadat se. Kruh se uzavře a jediné, co po nás zůstane, tak je krvavý otisk ve vzpomínkách. Psát o španělských TEITANBLOOD je pro mě vždy velmi náročné. Jejich hudba je totiž založena na chaosu a ten jak známo, bývá někdy nepříjemný. Na jejich desky musím mít opravdu náladu.
Nemohu tak nikdy říci, že jsem oddaným fanouškem nebo se mi jejich muzika nelíbí. Záleží opravdu na mém momentálním rozpoložení. Musím ale rovnou dodat, že letos mi připadá novinka "From the Visceral Abyss" přeci jen trošku přístupnější. Smršť z disonantních riffů, mokvajících nálad a surového pocitu bolesti, sice zůstává, ale přeci jen se častěji chytám alespoň některých motivů. Stále je to mlýn na syrové maso, nálada je přesto více vstřebatelná. Alespoň tak vnímám novinku já.
Je to samozřejmě stále extrém, pro někoho možná jen hluková stěna, kterou nikdy nerozkóduje. Osobně se mi ale nové album líbí. Má v sobě něco násilného, přitažlivého, ohlodaného na kost. Fanoušci tohoto stylu, který definovaly kapely typu PSEUDOGOD, PROCLAMATION, GRAVE MIASMA, ARCHGOAT, IGNIVOMOUS, LVCIFYRE, WITCHRIST, DIOCLETIAN, IMPETUOUS RITUAL, DEATHSPELL OMEGA, mi jistě potvrdí, že se jim zadřela nová deska pod kůži. Někteří budou mluvit o nahrávce roku, jiní utečou pryč a už se nikdy nevrátí. Zvuk je zde totiž velmi špinavý, vytažený na samou hranu bolesti. Jakoby jste spadli do jámy plné ostrých nožů. Každý pohyb znamená novou krev na kůži. Absolutní tma se zde potkává a okultismem i samotným Ďáblem. Nakonec vám nezbyde nic jiného, než pokleknout a sklonit hlavu. Tahle smečka má totiž svůj jasný, nezaměnitelný rukopis, ksicht od krve. Poznáte je podle několika prvních tónů. Všechny tyhle věci se samozřejmě v undergroundu cení velmi vysoko. TEITANBLOOD vás strhnou do hlubiny, pohřbí zaživa. Jen jim musíte dát čas, nechat je na sebe působit pomalu, jako nějaký jed, který rozloží vaše vnitřnosti. Někde uvnitř, hluboko v nemocné mysli, je opravdové, šílené zlo. Španělům se jej povedlo opět vytáhnout na povrch. Až zase jednou půjdete na hřbitov a budete mezi prsty prosévat svůj vlastní prach, určitě si na moje slova a na tuhle desku vzpomenete. Pokud jí dáte šanci, přikove vás na zeď a rozdrtí velkou silou. Na počátku byl chaos, potom vzniklo tohle album! Bestiální, blasfemický, disonantní, surový black death metal, který vás navěky prokleje! Kruh smrti se uzavřel!

The circle will close and all that will be left is a bloody imprint on our memories. Writing about the Spanish TEITANBLOOD is always very challenging for me. Their music is based on chaos and chaos, as we know, is sometimes unpleasant. I really have to be in the mood for their records.
So I can never say that I am a devoted fan or I don't like their music. It really depends on my mood at the moment. But I have to add that this year I find the new album "From the Visceral Abyss" a bit more accessible. The whirlwind of dissonant riffs, swampy moods and raw feeling of pain remains, but I catch at least some of the motifs more often. It's still a grinder of raw meat, the mood is still more absorbable. At least that's how I perceive the novelty.
It's still an extreme, of course, maybe just a noise wall for some people that never gets decoded. Personally, though, I like the new album. It has something violent, appealing, gnawed to the bone. Fans of this style, which has been defined by bands like PSEUDOGOD, PROCLAMATION, GRAVE MIASMA, ARCHGOAT, IGNIVOMOUS, LVCIFYRE, WITCHRIST, DIOCLETIAN, IMPETUOUS RITUAL, DEATHSPELL OMEGA, will surely tell me that the new album has gotten under their skin. Some will talk about the record of the year, others will run away and never come back. The sound here is very dirty, pulled to the very edge of pain. It's like falling into a pit of sharp knives. Every movement means new blood on your skin. Absolute darkness meets the occult and the Devil himself. In the end, you have no choice but to kneel and bow your head. For this pack has a distinct, unmistakable signature, a face of blood. You'll know them by the first few notes. All these things are of course highly valued in the underground. TEITANBLOOD will take you down into the depths, bury you alive. You just have to give them time, let them work on you slowly, like some kind of poison that disintegrates your insides. Somewhere inside, deep in the sick mind, there's a real, crazy evil. The Spanish have managed to bring it to the surface again. When you go to the cemetery again and sift your own dust between your fingers, you'll remember my words and this record. If you give it a chance, it will pin you to the wall and crush you with great force. In the beginning was chaos, then this album was made! Bestial, blasphemous, dissonant, raw black death metal that will damn you forever! The circle of death has closed!
