Bylo zde ticho. Absolutní klid. Dávno mrtvá těla ležela v neúplném kruhu. Ruce zkřížené na prsou, se zbraněmi, položenými v rakvích. Měl jsem podivný pocit, že mě někdo sleduje. Kobka byla zavřena dlouhých pět let. Když jsem zde byl naposledy, shořel jsem nenávistí. Poslouchal jsem děsivý a krutý black death metal, válčil jsem zase jednou s nebem a poslouchal u toho REVENGE. Letos se prokletí opět pobudili, rozhodnutí, že nás spálí na popel. Nutno rovnou dodat, že se jim to povedlo na výbornou.
Pokud máte rádi takový ten syrový, válečný black death metal, poslouchejte pozorně. Nečekejte žádné, k dokonalosti vybroušené album současnosti. To zde nedostanete. J. Read na to jde úplně jinak. Primitivněji, surověji, s absolutně devastujícím způsobem. Rvát si do hlavy nové album "Violation.Strife.Abominate" je jako se dívat na rezavý nůž, který vám právě někdo v zuřivosti bodl do břicha.
Je to vlastně hodně hnusná, špatně poslouchatelná muzika, je to definice antihumanity, totálního nihilismu. Je prostým faktem, že mě poslední roky štve lidský rod úplně stejně jako REVENGE. Jakoby na povrch vylezly ty nejnižší pudy, jakoby se vztek a veškerý hnus otiskly do našich myšlenek. Máte rádi BLASPHEMY, DIOCELTIAN, ARCHGOAT, PISSGARVE, BLACK WITCHERY, CONQUEROR? Potom jste zde správně. J. Read se spojil s bubeníkem Verminem, aby nahráli totálně devastující desku. Poslouchat "Violation.Strife.Abominate" je jako brodit se špinavou stokou pod vaším městem. Po kolena ve smradlavé vodě, mezi hnilobou, hnusem a zbytky mrtvých těl, marně hledáte alespoň nějaký záblesk světla. Už dávno vím, že dobro neexistuje. Zbyla už jenom nahrubo nasekaná tma a zlo, které máme každý uložené hluboko v sobě. Kanaďané jej vzali a vytáhli na povrch. Hodili nám do ksichtu kusy zahnívajícího masa. Jakoby čerpali tihle šílenci inspiraci ve zdánlivě opuštěných jeskyních. Hluboko v podzemí, v katakombách, ve kterých leží těla prokletých. Nové album je dokáže opět probudit, dodat jim potřebnou sílu a energii. Mohou se tak opět pomstít, roztrhat nás na kusy, pohřbít zaživa. Koneckonců, mnozí z nás jsou jenom tupé kusy hmoty, pochodující na smrt. Nové album určitě nebude vyhovovat každému. Slabé povahy utečou pryč a ti, kteří vydrží, budou mít děsivé, šílené noční můry. It was quiet. Absolute silence. Long-dead bodies lay in an incomplete circle. Arms crossed on their chests, with weapons laid in their coffins. I had a strange feeling that someone was watching me. The doughnut had been closed for five long years. The last time I was here, I burned with hatred. I listened to horrible and cruel black death metal, warred once more with heaven and listened to REVENGE. This year the damned woke up again, determined to burn us to ashes. It must be added that they did it perfectly.
If you like that kind of raw, warlike black death metal, listen carefully. Don't expect any polished to perfection album of today. You won't get that here. J. Read goes about it in a completely different way. More primitive, more raw, with an absolutely devastating way. To pound the new album "Violation.Strife.Abominate" into your head is like looking at a rusty knife someone just stabbed into your stomach in a rage.
It's actually very ugly, hard to listen to music, it's the definition of anti-humanity, total nihilism. It's a simple fact that I've been as annoyed with the human race as REVENGE for the last few years. It's as if the lowest instincts have come to the surface, as if anger and all the ugliness have imprinted themselves on our thoughts. Do you like BLASPHEMY, DIOCELTIAN, ARCHGOAT, PISSGARVE, BLACK WITCHERY, CONQUEROR? Then you are here right. J. Read teams up with drummer Vermin to record a totally devastating record. Listening to "Violation.Strife.Abominate" is like wading through a dirty sewer under your city. Knee-deep in stinking water, amidst the rot, the filth and the remains of dead bodies, you search in vain for any glimmer of light. I've known for a long time that there is no good. All that's left is the coarsely chopped darkness and evil that we all have stored deep inside us. The Canadians have taken it and brought it to the surface. They threw chunks of rotting flesh in our faces. It's as if these madmen drew inspiration from seemingly abandoned caves. Deep underground, in the catacombs where the bodies of the damned lie. The new album manages to awaken them again, to give them the necessary strength and energy. They can take revenge again, tear us apart, bury us alive. After all, many of us are just dull pieces of matter, marching to our deaths. The new album certainly won't suit everyone. The weak natured will run away and those who endure will have terrifying, insane nightmares. There was silence. Absolute silence. Long-dead bodies lay in an incomplete circle.
