Sekyra, zaseknutá v hlavě. Nůž, zabodnutý do břicha. Zkažená krev, vytékající z vnitřností. Mrtvolný pohled, děsivý šepot, pach studené smrti. Tohle všechno můžete v této márnici potkat. Jsem starý hrobník, který dělá svoji práci již od devadesátých let minulého století. Každý večer zhasínám všechna světla a pouštím si kapely, které dokáží naplno svojí hudbou vyjádřit temné stíny, které se v noci objeví na hřbitově. Usedám v márnici a rozmlouvám s mrtvými.

A poslouchám u toho debutovou desku švédských maniaků IMPURITY. Ti naplno ctí staré pořádky. Hrají od srdce, opravdově. Skladby v sobě mají takový ten severský chlad, jsou ostré jako břitva a můžete při jejich poslechu spatřit ty nejkrásnější zombie, jak se potácí mezi hroby. Půjdou vám po krku a sežerou vás zaživa. Přesně jako tohle nové album.

Jedná se o klasický, poctivý a surový masakr v katakombách v jeho nejryzejší podobě. Máte rádi kapely jako EVOCATION, GOD MACABRE, DISMEMBER, NIHILIST, ENTRAILS, ENTOMBED, EUCHARIST, CARNAGE? Potom přidejte hlasitost a nechte se pozvat na hororový výlet, který skončí, jak jinak, vaší bolestivou smrtí. Je to nabroušená pila, se zvukem od nejpovolanějších (Recorded by Tomas Skogsberg at Sunlight Studio and mastered by Dan Swano), je to morbidní zážitek z galerie smrti. IMPURITY jsou přesně tím druhem kapely, která má smrtící kov v krvi. Koluje jim tam po generace. Ocitnete se v podivném filmu ve kterém se setkáte s oběšenci, s utopenými, se zavražděnými. Při poslechu ožívají ty nejděsivější představy. Krutost se zde míchá se silou, s takovou tou pradávnou energií, načerpanou hluboko v podzemí. Songy odsýpají jako lavina z kostí a lebek, jsou jako divoké tsunami. Zároveň v sobě obsahují velké množství mrazu, totální tmy a hnusného zla, které spalo dlouhé roky v jeskyni. Bylo právě vytaženo na povrch, aby nás zničilo. Novou desku "The Eternal Sleep" vnímám nejen jako skvělou poctu starým časům, ale také jako muziku, která hnije i v mých žilách. Pokaždé, když potkám podobné kapely, tak jsem rád, že pořád existují muzikanti, kteří nejen že perfektně zvládají svoje řemeslo, ale také dokáží do jednotlivých motivů vložit potřebný drive, takový ten nakopávající heavy efekt. Starý, prašivý severský death metal, který vám vyrve všechny vnitřnosti z těla! Chlad a tma ze záhrobí!

I'm an old undertaker who's been doing my job since the 1990s. Every night I turn off all the lights and play bands that can fully express with their music the dark shadows that appear in the cemetery at night. I sit in the morgue and talk to the dead.

And I listen to the debut album of Swedish maniacs IMPURITY. They're full of the old ways. They play from the heart, for real. The songs have that Nordic chill to them, they are razor sharp and you can see the most beautiful zombies staggering among the graves while listening to them.
