Pokaždé, když prosévám mezi prsty prach, tak přemýšlím o tom, jaký byl asi její život. Jak vypadala, jak se smála, co ji trápilo. Vše je pomíjivé a smrt je jediná jistota, to ví každý alespoň trošku zkušený hrobník. DEATH PULSATION jsou kapela ze Švédska, která hraje prašivě a uvěřitelně. Ihned se stala mojí kulisou ke každodenním exhumacím starých hrobů. Hrát poctivý death metal je svým způsobem poslání. Pokud plně věříte v záhrobí a uznáváte temnotu jako základ světa, potom jste zde správně.
Máte rádi takový ten mokvající, prašivý a smradlavý death metal? Tak DEATH PULSATION jej hrají. A činí tak opravdově, uvěřitelně, syrové, s takovou tou krvavou jiskrou v oku a nadšením pro záhrobní věci člověka. Zhasněte všechny světla a sestupte po schodech dolů. Do podsvětí. Zde vynikne tahle demonahrávka nejvíce.
Kapele se povedlo namíchat smrtící koktejl ve velmi shnilém poměru. Pánové se volně inspirovali smečkami typu ANGELCORPSE, MORBID ANGEL, VORUM, NECROVORE, KATAHARSIS. To ale není zase tolik důležité. Hlavní je spíše to, že mě baví demo poslouchat, rád se k němu vracím a užívám si takovou tu morbidní, podmanivou a záhadnou atmosféru. Smrt je za každým rohem, číhá ve stínu. Záhrobním rituálům bylo podřízeno všechno. Prašivý, masivní a zničující zvuk i tematický, stylový obal (Artwork by Cracked Skull Revelation). Vy si tak můžete naplno vychutnat hudbu, která není z našeho světa. Přišla sem z těch nejtemnějších katakomb, z míst, kde jsou pochována těla prokletých. Při poslechu lze potkat duše, navěky bloudící mezi naším a oním světem. Nejvíc jsem si užil nahrávku ve své cele, zavřený a odstřihnutý od celého světa. Pověšený na háky, ukřižovaný hlavou dolů. Pevně věřím, že se brzy dočkáme i dlouhohrajícího alba. Těším se už teď. Švédi se vydali cestou, která je lemována kostrami, mršinami a smrdí sírou. Směřuje přímo do pekla. Troufám si tvrdit, že se jim jejich prvotina povedla na výbornou. Tohle je přesně odrůda smrtícího kovu, který koluje i v mých žilách. A teď už mě prosím nechte, čeká mě další exhumace. Znovu zapínám play, prosévám mezi prsty prach a přemýšlím o tom, jaký byl asi její život. Jak vypadala, jak se smála, co ji trápilo. Every time I sift the dust between my fingers, I think about what her life must have been like. What she looked like, how she laughed, what troubled her. Everything is fleeting, and death is the only certainty, as any experienced gravedigger knows. DEATH PULSATION is a band from Sweden that plays dirty and believable. It immediately became my backdrop for the daily exhumations of old graves. Playing honest death metal is a mission in a way. If you fully believe in the afterlife and acknowledge darkness as the foundation of the world, then you've come to the right place.
Do you like that kind of swampy, dusty and smelly death metal? Then DEATH PULSATION play it. And they do it in a real, believable, raw way, with that bloody sparkle in their eye and passion for the things of the grave. Turn off all the lights and come down the stairs. To the underworld. That's where this demo stands out the most.
The band managed to mix a lethal cocktail in a very rotten proportion. The gentlemen were loosely inspired by packs like ANGELCORPSE, MORBID ANGEL, VORUM, NECROVORE, KATAHARSIS. But that's not so important. The main thing is that I enjoy listening to the demo, I like to come back to it and enjoy such a morbid, captivating and mysterious atmosphere. Death is around every corner, lurking in the shadows. Everything has been subjected to the rituals of the grave. The dusty, massive and devastating sound and the thematic, stylish cover art (Artwork by Cracked Skull Revelation). You can fully enjoy music that is not of our world. It came here from the darkest catacombs, from the places where the bodies of the damned are buried. Listening to it, one can meet souls forever wandering between our world and the next. I enjoyed the recording most in my cell, locked away and cut off from the world. Hung from hooks, crucified upside down. I firmly believe we'll soon see a full-length album. I'm looking forward to it now. The Swedes have gone down a road that's lined with skeletons, carcasses and smells of sulphur. It's heading straight to hell. I dare say their first album was a great success. This is exactly the kind of death metal that runs through my veins. Now, please leave me alone, I'm about to be exhumed again. I turn the play back on, sift the dust between my fingers and wonder what her life was like. What she looked like, how she laughed, what troubled her. Everything is ephemeral and death is the only certainty, as any experienced gravedigger knows. Turn out all the lights, the demons are coming. And they're out for your blood. Coarsely chopped death metal darkness, pain and suffering! Death lurks in the shadows!
