Sny, ve kterých vstupuji na onen svět, se mi vracejí stále častěji. Překračuji v něm řeku plnou mrtvých nafouklých těl, topím se v močálech, umírám a znovu se rodím. Platím svojí vlastní duší, zničený u posledního soudu. Kdysi prokletý, od narození směřující přímo do pekla. Poslouchám u toho, když potkávám své vlastní démony, death metalové kapely, jako jsou polští TOUGHNESS. Ti totiž dokáží perfektně znázornit svojí morbidní hudbou veškeré pochmurné nálady, které se kolem mě vznášejí jako můry kolem ohně.
O téhle smečce jsem již psal. Bylo to u příležitosti vydání jejich předchozího alba "The Prophetic Dawn" v roce 2022. Pokud si chcete přečíst recenzi, tak je spolu s rozhovorem odkazována dole pod článkem. Pánové volně navazují na věci minulé a pokračují tam, kde přestali. Jejich hudba je opět surová, špinavá a otvírají se u ní staré rakve tlakem. Tahle noční můra jen tak neskončí.
Je to hodně divoké, surové, nekompromisní album. Přesto nepostrádá temné a chladné melodie. Kombinace krutosti a mrazivých, propracovaných melodií, vás strhne ihned do hlubiny. Skladby jsou napsány s jediným účelem, pohřbít vás zaživa. Pokud máte rádi kapely jako MORBID ANGEL, DEMILICH, CONVULSE, ROTTREVORE, určitě oceníte i nové album "Black Respite of Oblivion". Je po okraj narvané melodiemi, která vás vyvrhnou zaživa, vytrhají vám vnitřnosti z těla. Hrubý vokál, drtivé bicí, atmosféra známá ze zakázaných piteven. Tohle všechno zde naleznete. Velmi masivní, dobře čitelný a ostrý je zvuk (Haldor Grunberg - mixing, mastering, revording). Zaujme i děsivý obal, jehož autorem je Turkka G. Rantanen. Líbí se mi, jakým směrem se kapela vydala. Nové songy jsou komplikovanější, nebál bych se napsat progresivnější. Mají v sobě velkou porci tlaku a černé energie. Základem je stále starý poctivý death metal, ale na něm jsou vystavěny pestré a zajímavé kompozice. Zároveň, a to je pro mě osobně hodně důležitá věc, se album opravdu dobře poslouchá. Rád se k němu vracím obzvláště v noci, když nevím, jestli spím a nebo zažívám další krutou realitu. Sny, ve kterých vstupuji na onen svět, se mi vracejí stále častěji. I have already written about this pack. It was on the occasion of the release of their previous album "The Prophetic Dawn" in 2022. Their music is once again raw, dirty and opens old coffins with pressure. This nightmare just won't end.
It's a very wild, raw, uncompromising album. Yet it doesn't lack dark and cold melodies. The combination of cruelty and chilling, sophisticated melodies will take you into the depths immediately. The songs are written with one purpose, to bury you alive. If you like bands like MORBID ANGEL, DEMILICH, CONVULSE, ROTTREVORE, you will appreciate the new album "Black Respite of Oblivion". It's packed to the brim with tunes that will gut you alive, rip your guts out. Rough vocals, crushing drums, atmosphere known from forbidden execution rooms. You'll find it all here. The sound is very massive, clear and crisp (Haldor Grunberg - mixing, mastering, revording). The eerie cover artwork by Turk G. Rantanen is also impressive. I like the direction the band has taken. The new songs are more complicated, I wouldn't be afraid to write more progressive. They have a big portion of pressure and black energy in them. The basis is still the old honest death metal, but the varied and interesting compositions are built on it. At the same time, and this is a very important thing for me personally, the album is really good to listen to. I like coming back to it especially at night when I don't know if I'm sleeping or experiencing another harsh reality. The dreams in which I enter the other world come back to me more and more often.
