Je chladná a temná noc a já zase vstupuji do starodávného chrámu. Pokaždé se probudím a jsem zmatený. Ve snech potkávám démony a samotnou Smrt. Zvou mě na starý obřad a já pokaždé jejich pozvání přijímám. Jdeme skrz krvavou mlhu, nasloucháme šepotu nemrtvých. Vstupujeme dovnitř a klaníme se před děsivým trůnem. Už dávno víme, že temnota zvítězila. Stačí se rozhlédnout kolem sebe, stačí se pomodlit správným směrem. Posloucháme nové album black metalových SPITE a odříkáváme zvrácené modlitby.
Pod touhle kapelou je podepsán jediný člen - Salpsan (Jesse Balgley - jinak také IMPURE, CERES, UNSPEAKABLE). Nahrál všechny nástroje i vše nazpíval. Výsledkem je surový, chladný a temný black metal, který smrdí sírou. Otevřete svoji mysl a nechte se unášet starodávnými příběhy. Antikrist se vrátil na zem, aby šířil zlo. Černá mše začíná!
Základem jsou tradiční black metalové postupy, ke kterým jsou přidávány nové a neotřelé melodie. SPITE mají svůj rukopis a dokáží mezi nás nevěřící předat velké množství energie načerpané hluboko v podzemí. Zvuk, obal a další formální věci jsou v absolutním pořádku. Hlavní jsou tu melodie, které se vám postupně zadřou hluboko pod kůži i do podvědomí. Připadám si, jako bych byl zavřený ve starém archívu a četl si ve spisech, na kterých se již dávno usadil prach. O démonech, o šílenství, o zlu, které se opět vrátilo. Mezi lidmi je jíž nějaký čas velký strach a když budete poslouchat stále dokola "The Third Temple", tak jej jenom prohloubíte. Kapela do mě ihned zasekla svůj dráp a nikdy mě už nepustí. Rád se k nové desce vracím, obzvláště ve chvílích, kdy se setmí a ochladí. Mívám potom podivné sny, ze kterých když se probudím, tak kolem mě stojí démoni i Smrt a zvou mě na dlouhý výlet bez konce. Stal jsem se postupně stínem, nemrtvým, ztratil jsem veškerou krev. Straním se lidí, raději navštěvuji staré chrámy a čtu si na zdech děsivá poselství. Skladby jsou velmi návykové, skvěle složené a mají v sobě takovou tu poctivou energii a tlak, které mám u tohoto stylu tolik rád. Nezbývá mi tedy nic jiného, než vám novinku doporučit. Pokud se rádi touláte podsvětím a líbí se vám, když máte chlad v kostech, tak neváhejte ani chvilku. SPITE nahráli album, které rozhodně stojí za to. Otevřete svoji mysl a nechte se unášet starodávnými příběhy. Antikrist se vrátil na zem, aby šířil zlo. Černá mše začíná! Surový, chladný a temný black metal, který smrdí sírou!

It is a cold and dark night and I am entering the ancient temple again. Every time I wake up, I'm confused. In my dreams I meet demons and Death himself. They invite me to an old ceremony and I accept each time. We walk through the bloody mist, listening to the whispers of the undead. We step inside and bow before the terrible throne. We've known for a long time that the darkness has won. All we have to do is look around, pray in the right direction. We're listening to the new album by black metal band SPITE and we're saying a sick prayer.
This band is signed by a single member - Salpsan (Jesse Balgley - aka IMPURE, CERES, UNSPEAKABLE). He recorded all the instruments and sang everything. The result is raw, cold and dark black metal that reeks of sulfur. Open your mind and let yourself be carried away by ancient stories. The Antichrist has returned to earth to spread evil. The black mass begins!
The basis is traditional black metal methods, to which new and novel melodies are added. SPITE have their own signature and they can transmit a lot of energy deep underground among us non-believers. The sound, the cover art and other formal things are in absolute order. The main thing here are the melodies, which gradually dig deep into your skin and subconscious. I feel like I'm locked in an old archive, reading through files that have long since had the dust settled on them. Of demons, of madness, of evil that has returned again. There's been a great fear among people for some time now, and listening to "The Third Temple" over and over again will only deepen it. The band got its claw into me immediately and never let go. I love coming back to the new record, especially when it gets dark and cold. Then I have strange dreams, from which I wake up to demons and Death standing around me, inviting me on a long trip without end. I've gradually become a shadow, undead, I've lost all my blood. I shy away from people, preferring to visit old temples and read the terrifying messages on the walls. The songs are very addictive, well composed and have that honest energy and pressure that I love so much about this style. So I have no choice but to recommend this new release to you. If you like to roam the underworld and like to have a chill in your bones, then don't hesitate a moment. SPITE have recorded an album that is definitely worth it. Open your mind and let yourself be carried away by the ancient stories. The Antichrist has returned to earth to spread evil. The Black Mass begins!
