Rád jsem se díval na pomalu plynoucí řeku. Na vlny, které se líně převalovaly. Rád jsem přemýšlel, rovnal si myšlenky. Býval tu klid. Jenže najednou je všechno jinak. Včera jsem našel třetí mrtvé tělo. Zohavené, rozsekané. Obejmula mě chladná mlha. Celý les okolo, celá řeka, jakoby čekala, až bestie udeří znovu. Možná právě teď také čeká ve stínu. Mám pocit, že vidím žhnoucí oči. Nebo ne? Nebo je to jenom přelud? Smrt číhá na každém kroku. Když poslouchám nové album maniaků GORGATRON, tak to tak mám pokaždé.

Jedná se opět o velmi surový, zkaženou krví nasáklý death metal. Potkáte zde nekompromisní brutalitu, grindcore, ale hlavně atmosféru, kterou lze najít na místech, na kterých se stalo něco zlého, násilného. Ohledávám další mrtvolu a kývám se do rytmu. Nové album se opravdu povedlo. Je ostré jako čerstvě nabroušený skalpel.

Čtvrtá dlouhohrající deska je volně inspirována kapelami jako HATE ETERNAL, SUFFOCATION, MORBID ANGEL, NECROPHAGIST, ORIGIN a dalšími, kteří umí svoji hudbou vyjádřit absolutní zlo. Poslouchám death metal více než třicet let a jako starý pes už zvedám hlavu pouze v případě, že mě kapela něčím zaujme. Snažím se prosévat sítem ty špatné a psát o těch, které mě něčím zaujmou. GORGATRON mě ihned přikovali na zeď. Masivní zvuk (Benjamin Harvey), majestátní obal (Triple Seis Design), ale hlavně mocné a velmi dobře napsané skladby. Tohle všechno dohromady tvoří lavinu, tsunami, která vás smete z povrchu zemského. Jednotlivé motivy v sobě mají drive, sílu, takový ten těžko definovatelný drive a feeling, které máme my, staří fanoušci na tomhle stylu tolik rádi. Nevím, jestli jste byli někdy na starých jatkách nebo v kafilerii. Také cítíte při poslechu pach zkaženého masa? Já ano. Navíc, a to je pro mě samozřejmě hodně důležité, mě baví desku "Sentience Revoked" poslouchat. Společná setkání připomínají ty nejkrvavější horory, děsivé noční můry, ze kterých se už nemusíte probudit. Je to jako se procházet lesem sebevrahů, jako nasávat atmosféru čerstvě vykopaného hrobu, je to jako pitva na živém pacientovi. Zkrátka a dobře, těmto maniakům se povedlo mě rozemlít na prach. I loved watching the slow moving river. The waves rolling lazily. I liked to think, straighten my thoughts. It used to be quiet. But suddenly everything is different. Yesterday I found a third dead body. Charred, dismembered. A cold fog enveloped me. The whole forest around, the whole river, as if waiting for the beast to strike again. Maybe it's waiting in the shadows right now, too. I think I see glowing eyes. Or do I? Or is it just a mirage? Death lurks at every turn. When I listen to the new album by the maniacs GORGATRON, I always feel that way.

This is again very raw, vicious, blood-soaked death metal. Here you will meet uncompromising brutality, grindcore, but mainly the atmosphere that can be found in places where something bad and violent happened. I look around for another corpse and sway to the beat. The new album is really good. It's sharp as a freshly sharpened scalpel.

The fourth full-length album is loosely inspired by bands like HATE ETERNAL, SUFFOCATION, MORBID ANGEL, NECROPHAGIST, ORIGIN and others who can express absolute evil with their music. I've been listening to death metal for more than thirty years and like an old dog I only raise my head when a band impresses me with something. I try to sift through the bad ones and write about the ones that catch my attention. GORGATRON nailed me to the wall immediately. Massive sound (Benjamin Harvey), majestic cover art (Triple Seis Design), but most importantly powerful and very well written songs. All of this together creates an avalanche, a tsunami that will sweep you off the face of the earth. The individual themes have drive, power, that hard to define drive and feeling that we old fans love so much about this style. I don't know if you've ever been to an old slaughterhouse or a rendering plant. Do you also smell rotten meat when you listen to it? I do. Plus, and this is obviously very important to me, I enjoy listening to "Sentience Revoked". The encounters we have together are reminiscent of the bloodiest horror movies, terrifying nightmares that you may never wake up from. It's like walking through a forest of suicides, like soaking up the atmosphere of a freshly dug grave, it's like an autopsy on a live patient. In short, these maniacs have succeeded in grinding me into dust. And they did it very elegantly and expertly. I loved watching the slow-moving river. The waves rolling lazily.
