Bylo to další z jeho uměleckých děl. Zvrácená, krvavá socha. Manifestace hrůzy a těch nejšpinavějších myšlenek. Tělo tentokrát viselo na rezavých hácích. Na starých, dávno opuštěných jatkách. Mezi odpadky a s vyděšeným pohledem, který žaloval, naříkal. Nikdy nezanechával žádný vzkaz. Chtěl, aby na nás všechno působilo. Fascinace násilím a šílenými vrahy měla za důsledek, že na veřejnost opět uniklo několik fotek. Sochař smrti, tak mu začali říkat.
Na tenhle případ jsem si vzpomněl, když jsem poprvé poslouchal nové EP "Surgical Vicissitude" šílených brutálních death metalistů CASTRATED. Ti se zhlédli také v temných lidských myšlenkách i v klasickém, surovém a nekompromisním pitvání živých těl. Tahle hudba vás pověsí na háky!
CASTRATED je sice novým jménem na undergroundové scéně, nicméně se jedná o zkušené muzikanty (Horrific Demise, Sarcophagy, Architectural Genocide, Desecrate The Faith, Asylum, Aethereus a další), kteří moc dobře vědí, co a jak chtějí hrát. Mají perfektní, devastující zvuk (Tony Tipton), stylový obal (Rudi Yanto), ale hlavně spoustu morbidních nápadů ve stylu třeba takových AVULSED, CANNIBAL CORPSE, SKINLEES, GORGASM, MALIGNANCY, DISAWOVED, LIVIDITY. Zkrátka a dobře, jedná se o tradiční návštěvu staré pitevny, do které jsou ukládána zohavená těla obětí násilných činů. Kapela sice nijak nevybočuje z běžných standardů, ale jejich debutové EP není rozhodně jenom dobrým řemeslem. Naopak, pánové přidávají velkou spoustu svých nápadů, které vás opravdu přenesou mezi hnilobu, špínu a krutou smrt. K nahrávce jsem se rád a často vracel pokaždé, když jsem dočetl nějakou knihu o sériových vrazích nebo v momentech, kdy jsem si potřeboval vyčistit hlavu od nadmíry informací, kterými jsme v dnešním světě doslova bombardováni. Rád a často jsem znovu sestupoval do sklepů, do opuštěných katakomb, mezi mělké hroby. K tomuhle stylu patří krev a temnota stejně, jako k mrtvému rakev. Myslím si, že pánové se zhostili své práce velmi dobře a já se budu těšit na další hudbu z jejich pitevny. Letos je to totiž masakr přesně podle mého gusta. Riffy ostré jako skalpel, dunivé bicí a chorobný vokál. No řekněte, co si víc může fanoušek žánru přát? Myslím, že snad jenom více skladeb. Bylo to další z jeho uměleckých děl. It was another of his works of art. A twisted, bloody sculpture. A manifestation of horror and the dirtiest of thoughts. This time the body hung from rusty hooks. On an old, long-abandoned slaughterhouse. Amongst the rubbish and with a terrified look that lamented, wailed. He never left any message. He wanted everything to have an effect on us. I was reminded of this case when I first listened to the new EP "Surgical Vicissitude" by insane brutal death metallers CASTRATED. They also looked into dark human thoughts and classic, raw and uncompromising dissection of living bodies. This music will hang you on hooks!

CASTRATED may be a new name on the underground scene, but they are experienced musicians (Horrific Demise, Sarcophagy, Architectural Genocide, Desecrate The Faith, Asylum, Aethereus and others) who know very well what and how they want to play. They have a perfect, devastating sound (Tony Tipton), stylish cover (Rudi Yanto), but mainly a lot of morbid ideas in the style of AVULSED, CANNIBAL CORPSE, SKINLEES, GORGASM, MALIGNANCY, DISAWOVED, LIVIDITY. In short, it is a traditional visit to an old autopsy room where the mutilated bodies of victims of violent crimes are placed. While the band doesn't break from the usual standards, their debut EP is definitely not just good craftsmanship. On the contrary, the gents add a great deal of their own ideas that will truly transport you between rot, filth and cruel death. I've happily and often returned to the record whenever I finish a book about serial killers or in moments when I need to clear my head from the overload of information we are literally bombarded with in today's world. I liked and often descended again into cellars, into abandoned catacombs, among shallow graves. Blood and darkness belong to this style as much as a coffin belongs to the dead. I think the gentlemen did their job very well and I will look forward to more music from their autopsy room. This year it's a massacre exactly to my taste. Scalpel-sharp riffs, thunderous drums and sick vocals. What more could a fan of the genre ask for? I guess just more songs. It was another one of his masterpieces. A twisted, bloody sculpture.
