Z hrobu pomalu vylézá další mrtvola. Má tvář od hlíny a z úst jí lezou červi. V nedalekém kostele došlo k samovznícení. Smrt brousí kosu a usmívá se. Už nastal čas, už to začalo. Nemrtví se vrátili. A touží po čerstvém mase a pomstě. Zažili tolik bolesti a utrpení, tolik hnusných věcí, že už to nešlo jinak. Musíme začít znovu. Hezky pomalu. Vím to já, všechny zombie i kapela HOUSE BY THE CEMETERY, která letos přichází se svým druhým dlouhohrajícím albem.
Jedná se o další z projektů nezničitelného Roggy Johanssona, který se tentokrát spojil se slovutným vokalistou Mikem Hrubovcakem a bubeníkem Matthiasem Fiebigem. Výsledkem jejich spolupráce je morbidní death metal ze staré školy. Záležitost pro všechny fanoušky opravdové, reálné smrti i pohřbů do země.
Máte rádi kapely jako GOREFEST, BONE GNAWER, RIBSPREADER? Potom neváhejte ani chvilku. Je sice fakt, že některé motivy jsme u Roggy už několikrát slyšeli, ale to bychom mohli napsat i o spoustě jiných kapel. Nijak zvlášť mi to nevadí, i když je pravda, že některé pasáže působí trošku monotónně. Vše se valí kupředu, jako nějaký dobře seřízený stroj na zabíjení. Není to nic originálního, ale skladby se dobře poslouchají. Takhle v pátek, do hospody, ideální. Album se bude asi nejvíc líbit těm, kteří každý večer opouštějí své domovy a vydávají se na hřbitov. Mám to podobně. Sluchátka na uších, lopatu v ruce a čerstvě vykopaný hrob. Neznám nic lepšího, než dobře uleželou mrtvolu. Pokud posloucháte tenhle styl už dlouhé roky jako já, budete spokojeni, pokud ne, berte to jako pozvánku do záhrobí. Není to nic zásadního, ani se zde nemění hudební dějiny, ale to ani není účelem. Hlavní je probudit všechny mrtvoly v márnici, promluvit si s nimi a přesvědčit je, aby se vydaly do ulic. Máte tak vlastně jenom dvě možnosti. Buď si budete spokojeně podupávat nohou do rytmu a vše si krásně morbidně užijete a nebo půjdete ihned pryč. Tohle je totiž hudba pro všechny pravověrné, prokleté, pro všechny, kteří mají rádi temné a chladné melodie ze záhrobí. Z hrobu pomalu vylézá další mrtvola. Má tvář od hlíny a z úst jí lezou červi. I know it, all zombies know it, and so does the band HOUSE BY THE CEMETERY, who are releasing their second full-length album this year.
It's another project from the indestructible Rogga Johansson, who this time teams up with famed vocalist Mike Hrubovcak and drummer Matthias Fiebig. The result of their collaboration is morbid death metal from the old school. An affair for all fans of real, real death and burial in the ground.
Do you like bands like GOREFEST, BONE GNAWER, RIBSPREADER? Then don't hesitate a moment. It's true that we've heard some of Rogga's themes several times before, but we could write about a lot of other bands as well. I don't particularly mind it, although it's true that some passages seem a bit monotonous. Everything rolls forward, like some well-tuned killing machine. It's nothing original, but the songs are good to listen to. Ideal for a pub on a Friday. The album will probably appeal most to those who leave their homes every night and head for the graveyard. I'm the same way. Headphones on, shovel in hand and a freshly dug grave. I don't know anything better than a well-laid corpse. If you've been listening to this style for years like I have, you'll be satisfied, if not, consider this an invitation to the afterlife. It's nothing major, nor is it changing musical history, but that's not the point either. The point is to wake up all the dead bodies in the morgue, talk to them and convince them to take to the streets. You only really have two options. Either you'll be content to stomp your feet to the rhythm and enjoy everything morbidly, or you'll leave immediately. This is music for all the true believers, for the damned, for all those who like dark and cold melodies from beyond the grave. Another corpse slowly crawls out of the grave.
