Ulice plná mrtvých těl. Krev a nenávist. Jednou tu bude další památník padlým. Možná to tak má být, příroda se sama brání tomu, abychom se přemnožili. Jinak si to nedovedu vysvětlit. Měli bychom být na vrcholu potravního řetězce a být nejchytřejší. Poslední roky o tom začínám dost pochybovat. Další válka, další lidé na útěku. Záběry plné bolesti, generace zničených. Nakonec se stejně staneš jen jménem na náhrobku, kterého si nikdo nevšimne.
Téma války se v death metalu a blacku objevuje poměrně často. Je ale jen málo kapel, které umí svojí hudbou hrůzy bojišť a utrpení vojáků vyjádřit. Američtí PRIMITIVE WARFARE patří mezi ně. Stačí vložit desku do přehrávače a pustit play. A najednou se ocitnete na frontě. Která střela je určena pro tebe?
Skladby jsou velmi barbarské, ohlodané na kost. Odkapává z nich zkažená krev. Temné atmosféře přispívá hodně i surový zvuk. Pokaždé, když "Extinction Protocol" poslouchám, vzpomenu si na staré černobílé dokumenty o zvěrstvech, kterých je schopen jenom člověk. Zákopy plné mrtvých těl, způsobů jak zabít člověka, je nekonečné množství. Technologie jde dopředu. Starý, extrémní smrtící kov, mrazivý black metal i nahrubo nasekané kusy grindcore. Tohle vše smíchané v třaskavém koktejlu. Občas zazní i odkazy třeba na takové DIOCLETIAN, REVENGE. Podávejte podchlazené a na víku od rakve. Poslouchat tuhle nahrávku je jako odkrýt starý masový hrob. Díváme se do tmy a čekáme na další útok. Riffy jsou velmi násilné, některých fanouškům se bude zdát hudba stereotypní a monotónní, ale není tomu tak. Veškeré morbidní nuance vylezou na povrch až po nějakém čase. Chce to opravdu více poslechů. Teprve potom vás PRIMITIVE WARFARE rozemelou na prach. Je to útok ze zálohy, zákeřná hudba, která se vám postupně dostane do krve. Opravdu se budete cítit jako voják v jedné ze světových válek. Jako ten nebožák na obalu, který jen potvrzuje vše, co se na desce odehrává. Totální vyhlazení vaší mysli. Smrt má mnoho podob a tu, kterou nám předkládají tihle maniaci, je hnusná, špinavá, děsivá, šílená. Ulice plná mrtvých těl. Krev a nenávist. Jednou tu bude další památník padlým. The theme of war comes up quite a lot in death metal and black metal. But there are few bands that can express the horrors of the battlefield and the suffering of the soldiers through their music. American PRIMITIVE WARFARE are one of them. Just put the album in the player and play. And suddenly you're on the front line. Which missile is for you?
The compositions are very barbaric, gnawed to the bone. They drip with corrupt blood. The raw sound contributes a lot to the dark atmosphere. Every time I listen to "Extinction Protocol" I think of old black and white documentaries about atrocities that only man is capable of. Trenches full of dead bodies, ways to kill a man are endless. Technology is advancing. Old, extreme death metal, chilling black metal and roughly chopped pieces of grindcore. All mixed in a shattering cocktail. Occasionally there are references to DIOCLETIAN, REVENGE. Serve chilled and on a coffin lid. Listening to this record is like uncovering an old mass grave. We stare into the darkness, waiting for the next attack. The riffs are very violent, some fans will find the music stereotypical and monotonous, but this is not the case. All the morbid nuances come out after some time. It really needs more listens. Only then will PRIMITIVE WARFARE grind you to dust. It's an ambush, insidious music that gradually gets into your blood. You really will feel like a soldier in one of the world wars. Like the poor guy on the cover, which just confirms everything that's happening on the record. The total annihilation of your mind.
