Chodil jsem okolo a fascinovaně se díval. Něčím mě přitahoval. Nevím vlastně proč, ale stále jsem se musel vracet. Do starého opuštěného kostela, o kterém se vyprávějí šílené věci. Dávné legendy plné děsu a bolesti přede mnou znovu ožívají. Oltář je zabarven krví a ze stínu slyším nářek obětí. Šepot nemrtvých, rouhání a studené kobky, které najdete v podzemí, jsou dalším důkazem, že se zde pořádaly pradávné rituály. Určitě znáte ten pocit, když se ocitnete na místě, kde se stalo něco zlého. Nebo když budete poslouchat nahrávku, která vás hned při prvním setkání zcela pohltí.
Pro UNAUSSPRECHLICHEN KULTEN z Chile a jejich diskografii mám velkou slabost. Kdysi se mi dostala do rukou jejich první alba a ihned jsem propadl jejich kouzlu. Pro mě, starého hrobníka je velmi zajímavé a napínavé sledovat cestu, po které se tihle tmáři vydali. Každým dalším albem je jejich hudba mocnější, pestřejší, propracovanější. Ano, opět chodím fascinovaně okolo oltáře s nápisem "Häxan Sabaoth" a užívám si všechnu temnotu, zkaženou krev a nihilismus, které z alba odkapávají.
Je to spíše starodávný okultní obřad, při kterém znovu ožívají přízraky, než jen obyčejná deska. Kdo kapelu znáte, tak určitě víte, že jejich hudba vyžaduje čas. Nutno poslouchat v klidu, ve tmě a pokud možno, tak několik metrů pod zemí. Na novince kapela překračuje další hranice a posouvá vše do zcela jiných dimenzí. Pokud jste na atmosféru vnímavější jako já, budete si opravdu připadat prokletí. Vždycky mě fascinovaly staré chrámy, jejich vznešenost a majestátnost. Vždycky, když nějaký navštívím, tak se mi dostane do kostí mráz. U nové nahrávky UNAUSSPRECHLICHEN KULTEN to mám hodně podobné. Fanoušci třeba takových INCANTATION, IMMOLATION, VITAL REMAINS, MORBID ANGEL, MORTEM, DRAWN AND QUARTERED, FUNEBRARUM si přijdou určitě na své. A nejen oni, skladby jsou totiž návykové, dostanou se vám postupně do žil a možná vám způsobí i zástavu srdce. Povedl se zvuk, který je masivní a čitelný, prašivý a ostrý. S chutí se určitě podíváte i na obal, pod kterým je podepsán Rodrigo Pereira Salvatierra. Jeho malba by klidně mohla být na prokletém oltáři, o kterém jsem se zmiňoval v úvodu dnešní recenze. "Häxan Sabaoth" mě rozsekalo na malé kousky. Několikrát jsem zemřel a znovu povstal z popela. Líbí se mi, že je ve skladbách obsaženo velké množství temné energie, kruté síly. Chilané umí být záhadní, magičtí, ale zároveň umí pokousat. Jsou jako nějaká pradávná bestie, která dlouho spala v podzemí. Letos se probudila a za zvuků téhle desky znovu zabíjí. Krása morbidní disonance! Mocný, děsivý, hypnotický death metalový opus, který vás strhne do hlubin nicoty!

Ancient legends full of terror and pain come alive before me again. The altar is stained with blood and from the shadows I hear the cries of the victims. I have a great fondness for UNAUSSPRECHLICHEN KULTEN from Chile and their discography. I once got my hands on their first albums and immediately fell under their spell. For me, an old grave digger, it is very interesting and exciting to follow the path these darkies have taken. With each successive album their music becomes more powerful, more varied, more sophisticated. Yes, once again I walk fascinated around the altar that says "Häxan Sabaoth" and enjoy all the darkness, corrupted blood and nihilism that drips from the album.
It's more of an ancient occult ceremony in which ghosts come to life again, rather than a simple plaque. If you know the band, you know that their music takes time. It has to be listened to quietly, in the dark, and preferably a few feet underground. On the new album, the band crosses other boundaries and takes everything to completely different dimensions. If you're as receptive to the atmosphere as I am, you'll really feel cursed. I've always been fascinated by old temples, their grandeur and majesty. Every time I visit one, it sends chills to my bones. With the new UNAUSSPRECHLICHEN KULTEN recording, I feel much the same way. Fans of such bands as INCANTATION, IMMOLATION, VITAL REMAINS, MORBID ANGEL, MORTEM, DRAWN AND QUARTERED, FUNEBRARUM will surely enjoy it. And not only them, the songs are addictive, they will gradually get into your veins and maybe even cause a cardiac arrest. The sound is massive and clear, dusty and sharp. You'll also want to take a look at the cover, which is signed by Rodrigo Pereira Salvatierra. His painting could very well be on the cursed altar I mentioned in the opening of today's review. "Häxan Sabaoth" cut me to pieces. I died and rose again from the ashes several times. I like that there is a lot of dark energy, cruel power in the songs. Chileans can be mysterious, magical, but at the same time they can bite. They're like some ancient beast that's been sleeping underground for a long time. This year, it's awakened and it's killing again with this record. The beauty of morbid dissonance! A powerful, terrifying, hypnotic death metal opus that will take you into the depths of nothingness!
