Je hluboká tma a nejsou vidět ani hvězdy. Říkali mi, abych nechodil ven, jenže já musím. Jakmile se setmí, nemám klid. Začnou mě bolet vnitřnosti a pálit stigmata na rukou. Zabouchnu za sebou dveře a zmizím v ulicích. Moje kroky vždy směřují na starý, zdánlivě opuštěný hřbitov. Pokaždé se nejdříve rozhlédnu a pomodlím k peklu. Nejdříve zahlédnu jen několik divných stínů. Potom se ozvou z márnice podivné zvuky a nářek nemrtvých. Pomalu přejdu na druhou stranu, na onen svět. Každou noc navštívíme jinou hrobku. Dnes má nad vchodem nápis TORTURED CORPSE a smrdí zatuchlinou a rozkládajícím se masem.
Tuhle smečku prokletých maniaků sleduji od jejich začátků. Odkazy na recenze i rozhovor naleznete dole pod článkem. Každé setkání je pro mě divokou a děsivou noční můrou. Nové EP "Burial Mounds" je morbidní ozvěnou ze záhrobí. Death metalem, který vás pohřbí zaživa.
Peklo má mnoho podob a to, které nám ukazují TORTURED CORPSE, je velmi kruté, temné a smrdí sírou. Stejně jako jejich hudba. Vše se odehrává ve stylu třeba takových CANNIBAL CORPSE, ROTTREVORE, NUNSLAUGHTER, IMPETIGO, REPULSION, CARCASS, AUTOPSY. Je to starodávný masakr v márnici, který je velmi dobře složený, má parádní plesnivý zvuk a takovou tu patinu, kterou naleznete na starých pohřebištích. Poslouchat tuhle desku je jako když odkryjete prašivou rakev, ve které byly dlouhé roky uloženy choroby, které když vás nakazí, tak zemřete v šílených křečích. Rozpadnete se v prach a vaše vnitřnosti budou spáleny na popel. Líbí se mi přístup, jakým Poláci ke své morbidní práci přistupují. Jsou uvěřitelní, reální, suroví. Společně strávené chvíle u přehrávačů mi opravdu připomínají moje pravidelné návštěvy opuštěných pohřebišť. Tančíme do rytmu s těmi nejkrásnějšími zombie, užíváme si hororovou náladu EP "Burial Mounds". Už jste někdy podali ruku mrtvole? Ani nemusíte, stačí když si tohle album poslechnete. Jsem starý pes, který poslouchá smrtící kov přes třicet let. Troufám si tvrdit, že novinka je určena pro mě i pro všechny prokleté. Smrt má mnoho podob a tu kterou nám tihle tmáři předkládají, je velmi krutá, hnusná a mokvající. Jedná se samozřejmě o hluboký underground. Novinka musela být nahrávána v temných katakombách. Nejdříve v nich zahlédnu jen několik divných stínů. Potom se ozvou z márnice podivné zvuky a nářek nemrtvých. Zahnívající, mokvající, shnilá death metalová exhumace prašivých rakví!

It's deep dark and you can't even see the stars. They told me not to go out, but I have to. Once it gets dark, I can't rest. My insides start to ache and the stigmata on my hands start to burn. I slam the door behind me and disappear into the streets. My footsteps always head for the old, seemingly abandoned cemetery. Each time, I look around first and pray to hell. At first I only see a few strange shadows. Then there are strange noises from the morgue and the cries of the undead. Slowly, I cross over to the other side, to the other world. Each night we visit a different tomb. Tonight it has a sign over the entrance that reads TORTURED CORPSE and smells of stale, decaying flesh.

Every encounter is a wild and terrifying nightmare for me. The new EP "Burial Mounds" is a morbid echo from beyond the grave. Death metal that will bury you alive.
Hell has many forms and the one shown by TORTURED CORPSE is very cruel, dark and smells of brimstone. Just like their music. Everything is in the style of CANNIBAL CORPSE, ROTTREVORE, NUNSLAUGHTER, IMPETIGO, REPULSION, CARCASS, AUTOPSY. It's an ancient morgue massacre that is very well composed, has a great moldy sound and that patina you find in old burial grounds. Listening to this record is like uncovering a dingy coffin that has held diseases for years that if they infect you, you'll die in mad convulsions. You will crumble into dust and your insides will be burned to ashes. I like the way the Poles approach their morbid work. They're believable, real, raw. Spending time together at the players really reminds me of my regular visits to abandoned burial grounds. We dance to the beat with the most beautiful zombies, enjoying the horror mood of the EP "Burial Mounds". Have you ever shaken hands with the dead? You don't have to, just listen to this album. I'm an old dog who's been listening to death metal for over thirty years. I dare say this new release is for me and all the damned. Death comes in many forms and the one these darkies present to us is very cruel, ugly and swamping. It is, of course, deeply underground. The novelty must have been recorded in the dark catacombs. At first, I only see a few strange shadows in them. Then there are strange noises from the morgue and the cries of the undead. A rotting, sweltering, putrid death metal exhumation of mangy coffins!
