Někdy se mi zdají děsivé sny, ve kterých navštěvuji stále dokola morbidní galerii. Jsou v ní nainstalovány všechny druhy mučení, kterých je člověk schopen. Lámání v kole, škrcení a trhání masa od kostí. Mnohým je nepříjemné o tom jenom číst, jenže krutou pravdou je, že jsou lidé stále stejní. Během historie svého druhu jsme dokázali díky technologiím akorát zvýšit efektivitu a způsoby, jakými způsobit bolest. Asi uhodnete, jakou hudbu nám pořadatelé galerie smrti hrají. Ano, je to debutové album amerických black death metalistů SULFURIC HATRED.
Spousta malířů, spisovatelů i dalších umělců se snaží znázornit peklo a absolutní zlo. Téhle smečce prokletých tmářů se to povedlo. Když jejich novinku poslouchám, mrazí mě v zádech a moje sny jsou stále děsivější. Jakoby na povrch vypluly nízké, pradávné lidské pudy a instinkty. Dívám se najednou na všechno zcela jiným pohledem a moje oči jsou zahaleny do krve.
Kapela nám připravila chaotický koktejl, ve kterém jsou základem starý prašivý death metal, black metalová válka a přidávány jsou nahrubo nasekané kusy grindu. Výsledek je totálně nehumánní, divoký, zběsilý. Ze skladeb odkapává špína smíchaná s hnisem. Určitě jste někdy viděli dlouho neléčenou ránu, která se zdánlivě zahojí. Jenže pak si poslechnete album "Sulfuric Hatred" a máte vnitřnosti opět v jednom ohni. Zvuk, obal, provedení, vše je podřízeno jedinému - strhnout vás do hlubiny, pohřbít zaživa. Na slabší jedince bude nahrávka možná až příliš krutá, ale my, staří metaloví psi rádi a často překračujeme hranice. Zde máte možnost. Pochmurné, dávno zapomenutelné rituály znovu a znovu ožívají. Guturální vokály, dlouhý výlet ve smradlavých močálech. Nekonečné chodby pod vaším městem, ve kterých řádí vrah. Občas vyplují mrtvoly nebo jejich části na povrch. Zhasněte všechna světla a ulehněte do rakví. Skladby jsou napsány s maniakální zručností a zkušenostmi starých mistrů. Navíc je přidána potom velmi magická a děsivá atmosféra. Myslím si, že pokud jste byli prokleti, je tohle album určeno i pro vás. Neváhejte ani chvilku a poslouchejte hodně nahlas! A lot of painters, writers and other artists try to depict hell and absolute evil. This bunch of cursed darkies have succeeded. When I listen to their new stuff, I get chills and my dreams get scarier and scarier. It's as if low, ancient human instincts and instincts have surfaced.
