Sedím tu již pěkně dlouho. A stále čekám. Na starém hřbitově, poblíž dávno opuštěné kobky. Nikdo tu není, jenom já a dávné přízraky. Ozvěny ze záhrobí zazní ihned, jakmile si pustím nové album death metalových maniaků INFAMOVS z Chile. Netrvá to dlouho a rezavá brána se otevře a já můžu vstoupit dovnitř. Leží tu kdysi zohavená těla prokletých. Cítím mráz v kostech a krve by se ve mě nedořezal. Myslím si, že nové album "Stench of the Unholy Graves" je velmi dobrou volbou k dnešní exhumaci.
Rozpadají se mi v rukách staré kosti, prosévám mezi prsty prach a vzpomínám na devadesátá léta minulého století. Jsem archivářem, věrným fanouškem opravdové smrti i pohřbů do země. Nové album se opravdu povedlo. To vám podepisuji vlastní krví.
Démoni tančí na hrobech a uznale kývají hlavou. Není divu, hraje se zde hlavně pro ně, i pro všechny fanoušky třeba takových MORBID ANGEL, IMMOLATION, INCANTATION, DIABOLIC, CENTURIAN. Stačilo otevřít víko od první rakve a nechat si prokousnout hrdlo ostrými riffy. Zasypán v hluboké zemi škrábu na dřevěné víko. Nikdo mě neslyší, pomalu se udusím. Ano, během poslechu mám neodbytný pocit, že mi někdo stojí těžkou botou na prsou. Hudba se musí vnímat srdcem, musím jí věřit a moje fantazie musí pracovat na sto procent. U "Stench of the Unholy Graves" tohle všechno zažívám. Je to jako výlet bez konce, na staré pohřebiště, kde se kdysi pořádaly tajemné rituály. Líbí se mi, že kapela přesně ví, co a jak chce hrát. Svoji morbidní práci zvládají na výbornou. Zvuk, obal, celková produkce, tohle vše je v absolutním pořádku. Vy si tak můžete naplno vychutnat pořádnou porci syrového, již notně zapáchajícího masa. Chilané hrají krutě a ošklivě. Věřím jim každý tón, každý motiv. Mám pocit, že se mi jednotlivé pasáže zadírají hluboko do mozku. Hniju zaživa, pomalu se rozpadám a přecházím na druhou stranu, na onen svět. Byl jsem kdysi dávno, jako mladý proklet a dodnes jsem fanouškem tradičního, klasického kovu smrti. Pokud jste na tom jako já, neváhejte ani chvilku. Tahle deska vás totiž spálí na popel. Stane se postupně vaší součástí. Sedím tu již pěkně dlouho. A stále čekám. The echoes from the beyond will be heard as soon as I put on the new album of death metal maniacs INFAMOVS from Chile. It doesn't take long before the rusty gate opens and I can enter. Here lie the once mutilated bodies of the damned. I can feel the chill in my bones and the blood wouldn't cut it. I think the new album "Stench of the Unholy Graves" is a very good choice for today's exhumation.
Old bones crumble in my hands, sifting dust between my fingers and reminiscing about the 1990s. I'm an archivist, a staunch fan of real death and in-ground burials. The new album is really good. I'm signing this for you in my own blood.
Demons dance on graves and nod their heads in approval. No wonder, it's mainly for them, and for all the fans of such bands as MORBID ANGEL, IMMOLATION, INCANTATION, DIABOLIC, CENTURIAN. Just open the lid of the first coffin and let the sharp riffs bite your throat. Buried in the deep earth I scratch at the wooden lid. No one can hear me, I'm slowly suffocating. Yes, while I'm listening I have the insistent feeling that someone is standing with a heavy boot on my chest. I have to feel the music with my heart, I have to believe in it, and my imagination has to work 100%. With "Stench of the Unholy Graves" I experience all of that. It's like a trip without end, to an old burial ground where mysterious rituals were once held. I like that the band knows exactly what they want to play and how they want to play it. They do their morbid job perfectly. The sound, the cover, the overall production, all of this is absolutely fine. So you can fully enjoy a good portion of raw, already slightly smelly meat. The Chileans play cruel and nasty. I trust every note, every motive. I feel like each passage is digging deep into my brain. I'm rotting alive, slowly disintegrating and crossing over to the other side, to the other world. I was cursed once upon a time, as a youth, and to this day I am still a fan of traditional, classic death metal. If you're like me, don't hesitate a moment. This record will burn you to the ground. It will gradually become a part of you. I've been sitting here a long time. And I'm still waiting. In an old cemetery, near a long-abandoned dungeon. There's no one here but me and the ghosts of old.
