Tenhle buldozer vyjel poprvé v roce 2009. Dodnes před sebou hrne obrovskou hromadu špíny, hnisu, polámaných kostí a pravého, reálného death metalu. HUMILIATION jsou z Malajsie a troufám si tvrdit, že každý opravdový fanoušek reálné smrti o nich již slyšel. Letos přicházejí s novým albem "Conflagration". Na obalu je vyobrazen rozbitý tank. Každému je tak jasné, že válka bude hlavním tématem textů a kapela se bude snažit vás každou deskou přenést na bojiště.
Nutno rovnou podotknout, že se to kapele daří a pokaždé, když se s jejich hudbou setkám, musím si nejdříve pustit nějaký starý dokument z války. Teprve potom jejich songy vyniknou naplno. Prašivý zvuk, valivé riffy, spousta bolesti, krutosti, šílenství a prostřelených hlav. Co víc si můžeme vlastně přát? Myslím, že nová nahrávka udělá dobře každému, který v děsivých snech pochodoval na smrt, spal v zákopech a dokáže se vcítit do chladu a temnoty, které zažívají obyčejní vojáci. Bombardování začne za úsvitu!
Není asi žádným tajemstvím, že se kapela nechala inspirovat slavnými BOLT THROWER, HAIL OF BULLETS a JUNGLE ROT, MEMORIAM. Nověji je lze potom připodobnit k tomu, co ve své tvorbě znázorňují třeba takoví JUST BEFORE DAWN, DECAYING, INVASION, MASSIVE ASSAULT, TRENCHANT, SHRAPNEL STORM, CHAINSWORD, DEATH KOMMANDER. Zkrátka a dobře, válce je zde podřízeno všechno. Snaha o vytvoření potřebné atmosféry se samozřejmě daří, jinak bych o kapele nepsal, ale je fakt, že v některých momentech jsou Malajci trošku monotónní. Berte to ale jen jako lehké povzdechnutí starého metalového psa. Jinak je samozřejmě vše v pořádku. Masivní zvuk, již zmiňovaný obal, ale i nápady, které musí udělat radost každému živému i mrtvému vojákovi. "Conflagration" je deskou, která je určena všem staromilcům, démonům i prokletým. Jedná se o hodně syrovou záležitost, opravdu cítím, jak mi pánové během poslechu přikládají hlaveň k hlavě. Jedná se samozřejmě o hluboký underground, o muziku, která vzešla z nekonečných chodeb Hádovy říše. Je vlastně jedno, jestli si při poslechu představíte tank nebo buldozer. Hlavní je, že se mi riffy zadřely pod kůži, že jsem před sebou viděl zákopy, hromadné hroby, vypálené vesnice. Všechnu tu bolest a hrůzu, kterou nesmyslné války přinášejí. Smrt je všude kolem nás! Vojáci temnoty povstali, aby nás rozdrtili válečným death metalem!

This bulldozer first came out in 2009. To this day, it still throws a huge pile of dirt, pus, broken bones and true, real death metal in front of it. HUMILIATION are from Malaysia and I dare say every true fan of real death has heard of them. This year they come with their new album "Conflagration". The cover art features a broken tank. It is so clear to everyone that war will be the main theme of the lyrics and the band will try to transport you to the battlefield with every record.
It must be said right away that the band succeeds in doing this and every time I encounter their music, I have to watch an old documentary from the war first. Only then their songs stand out to the fullest. Dusty sound, rolling riffs, lots of pain, cruelty, madness and heads being shot through. What more could we ask for? I think the new record will do good for anyone who has marched to their death in horrific dreams, slept in the trenches and can empathise with the coldness and darkness experienced by ordinary soldiers. The bombing will begin at dawn!
It's probably no secret that the band was inspired by the famous BOLT THROWER, HAIL OF BULLETS and JUNGLE ROT, MEMORIAM. More recently, they can be likened to the likes of JUST BEFORE DAWN, DECAYING, INVASION, MASSIVE ASSAULT, TRENCHANT, SHRAPNEL STORM, CHAINSWORD, DEATH KOMMANDER. In short, everything is subordinated to the reel here. The effort to create the necessary atmosphere is obviously successful, otherwise I wouldn't write about the band, but it's a fact that in some moments the Malaysians are a bit monotonous. But just take it as a slight sigh of an old metal dog. Otherwise, of course, everything is fine. Massive sound, the aforementioned cover art, but also ideas that must make every soldier alive and dead happy. "Conflagration" is a record that is for all old men, demons and the damned. This is a very raw affair, I can really feel the gentlemen putting the barrel to my head as I listen. This is of course deep underground music, music that came from the endless corridors of Hades. It doesn't really matter if you imagine a tank or a bulldozer when you listen to it. The main thing is that the riffs got under my skin, that I saw trenches, mass graves, burnt villages in front of me. All the pain and horror that senseless wars bring. Death is all around us! The soldiers of darkness have risen to crush us with war death metal!
