Obrácené kříže hoří jasným plamenem. Věřící vyšli do ulic. Chtějí se pomstít. Za to, že jim celý život lhali, za to, že jim ubližovali. Kamenné tváře padlých kněží. Strach a nenávist. Všichni už moc dobře víme, že Satan má mnoho podob a Bůh není nikde vidět. Hluboko pod starým, znesvěceným kostelem se probudila hydra. Stará, prašivá kapela, která datuje svůj vznik na konec devadesátých let. Byl jsem hodně zvědavý, jak se návrat legendárních REBAELLIUN z Brazílie povede. Album jsem si pustil pořádně nahlas právě ve chvíli, kdy ve zprávách mluvili o církvi.

Bylo mi chvilku špatně z hnusných kněží, popadl mě vztek. Musel jsem se vyřvat. Novinka "Under the Sign of Rebellion" se zdála být více než vhodná. Má v sobě totiž vše potřebné pro poctivé, hlasité rouhání. Jedná se o tradiční jihoamerický atak se syrovým masivním zvukem (Tormentum Funebri - recording, Jander Antunes - mastering). Přesně takhle to mám rád, přesně takový druh hudby koluje i v mých žilách.

Jestliže církev stále chrání zločince, jestliže pořád nemluví o hrozných činech, které se dějí, tak REBAELLIUN říkají všechno narovinu, naplno, bez kompromisů. Celá nahrávka je jako smršť, jako lavina, která vás smete z povrchu zemského. Spadnete do hlubiny, budete mučeni. Ano, přesně takhle zní opravdové peklo. Vše se odehrává ve stylu KRISIUN, MORBID ANGEL, VADER, THE ORDHER. Občas zazní i odkazy na starou SEPULTURU a její první alba. Pokud si chcete vychutnat dokonalou esenci toho, co nabízí jihoamerické podsvětí, tak neváhejte ani chvilku. Kapela vám nedá ani na chvilku vydechnout, budete se kroutit jako jedovatí hadi, které někdo spálil rozžhaveným železem. Pánové si stále, i po těch letech, drží vysokou kvalitu. Nepřinášejí sice nic nového, nijak zásadně se nemění, ale to je přesně to, co jsem od nich očekával. Smrtící kov bez kompromisů, cejch vypálený hluboko do mozku. Až půjdeš zase v neděli do kostela, tak si předtím poslechni tuhle desku. Možná konečně nebudeš slepý a hluchý. Svět je někdy hodně zlé a těžké místo k životu. Nezbývá, než stále bojovat. Existuje velká spousta skupin, kterým jejich sílu a energii nevěřím. REBAELLIUN jsou ale opravdoví, ryzí, uvěřitelní. Teprve čtvrté dlouhohrající album se povedlo. Myslím si, že hodně vám prozradí i obal od mistra Sebástiana Suareze. Ten totiž přesně vyjadřuje to, co se na desce odehrává. Zběsilý, divoký, živočišný smrtící kov, který vám zláme všechny kosti v těle. Obrácené kříže hoří jasným plamenem. Věřící vyšli do ulic. Chtějí se pomstít. Za to, že jim celý život lhali, za to, že jim ubližovali. Ďábelský, bestiální death metal, který vás uhrane a navěky prokleje! Peklo, smrt, utrpení!

An old, grimy band that dates back to the late '90s. I was very curious to see how the return of the legendary REBAELLIUN from Brazil would go. I turned the album up really loud just as they were talking about the church on the news.

I was sick of the ugly priests for a while, anger grabbed me. I had to scream. The new "Under the Sign of Rebellion" seemed more than appropriate. It has everything you need for honest, loud blasphemy. It is a traditional South American attack with a raw massive sound (Tormentum Funebri - recording, Jander Antunes - mastering). This is exactly how I like it, this is exactly the kind of music that runs through my veins.

If the Church is still protecting criminals, if it is still not talking about the terrible acts that are happening, then REBAELLIUN is saying everything straight, fully, without compromise. The whole recording is like a whirlwind, like an avalanche that will wipe you off the face of the earth. You will fall into the depths, you will be tortured. Yes, that's what real hell sounds like. It's all in the style of KRISIUN, MORBID ANGEL, VADER, THE ORDHER. Occasionally there are references to the old SEPULTURA and its first albums. If you want to enjoy the perfect essence of what the South American underworld has to offer, don't hesitate a moment. The band won't let you breathe for a moment, you'll be writhing like poisonous snakes that someone burned with a red-hot iron. Even after all these years, the gentlemen still keep their high quality. They don't bring anything new, they don't change fundamentally, but that's exactly what I expected from them. A deadly metal without compromise, a brand burned deep into the brain. When you go to church again on Sunday, listen to this record first. Maybe you won't finally be blind and deaf. The world can be a very mean and hard place to live in. Nothing to do but keep fighting. There are a great many groups that I don't trust their strength and energy. But REBAELLIUN are real, genuine, believable. Only their fourth full-length album has been a success. I think the cover artwork by master Sebastian Suarez will tell you a lot. Because it expresses exactly what is happening on the album. Furious, wild, animalistic death metal that will break every bone in your body. The inverted crosses burn with a bright flame. The faithful have taken to the streets. They want revenge. For lying to them all their lives, for hurting them. Devilish, bestial death metal that will chill you and damn you forever! Hell, death, suffering!
