Existují lidé, v jejichž přítomnosti se cítíte divně. Mají zlý pohled a někteří smrdí sírou. Jsou jako šelmy, jsou jako bestie, které vás zničí, roztrhají na kusy. Když nastane válka, stávají se hrdiny. Protože k smrti milují bolest a utrpení. Jednou se mi zdál sen, ve kterém jsem se probudil a vyšel ven z domu. Už neexistovalo žádné světlo, žádný čistý vzduch. Jenom nihilismus, špína a hnis, nenávist a temnota. Bestie zase jednou zvítězily.
Na svůj sen jsem si vzpomněl i letos v létě, když jsem začal poslouchat debutové album "Slaughter of Human Offerings in the New Age of Pan" polských black metalistů DOMINANCE. Mraky byly zase jednou nízko a lidé kolem mě ukazovali svoji odvrácenou tvář. Podle mě je o těchto věcech a náladách dobrý černý kov. Musí hořet, pálit a chladit zároveň. Musí vám rozdrásat obličej do krve. Polákům se to povedlo na výbornou. Tohle je šílená jízda přímo do pekla!
Kapela je složena ze zkušených muzkantů (MÖRTALIST, RAPED CHRIST), kteří se rozhodli nás spálit na popel. Můžete si užít opravdu zabijácký zvuk (Haldor Grunberg - Santa Studio (Warsaw, PL) (Behemoth, Dopelord, Witchmaster)), podívat se na válečný a velmi povedený obal (Witchfucker). Základem hudby těchto maniaků jsou ozvěny od kapel jako MARDUK, DARK FUNERAL, 1349, zazní ale i lehké thrashové motivy (SODOM). Výsledkem je smrtící koktejl, který když ochutnáte, tak zemřete v šílených křečích. Vždycky jsem říkal, že dobrý black metal se pozná podle toho, že máte chuť rozmlátit nejbližší zeď. Ve skladbách je pověstné zlo, špína a hnis. DOMINANCE sice neobjevují nic nového, ale to ani není účelem. Zkrátka a jednoduše, mám neustálou chuť se k nahrávce vracet, rvát si ji do hlavy a poslouchat ji pořádně nahlas. Vždycky jsem měl raději tmu a chlad a proto si dost často zalezu do stínu a užívám si ostré melodie, chorobný vokál, zničující bicí a neskutečně temné nálady, které jsou z desky cítit. Jako když najdete v lese rozkládající se mršinu. Tvář bez očí, vnitřnosti vylezlé ven. Také cítíte pach smrti? Tak přesně takhle na mě působí i "Slaughter of Human Offerings in the New Age of Pan". Už neexistuje žádné světlo, žádný čistý vzduch. Jenom nihilismus, špína a hnis, nenávist a temnota. Bestie zase jednou zvítězily. A nám nezbývá nic jiného, než tančit na jejich hrobech. Téhle smečce se povedlo nahrát album, které je dokonalou esencí toho, co mám na tomhle stylu rád. Zničující, nihilistické, mrazivé black metalové rouhání! Infernální vstup do zlé dimenze!

I remembered my dream this summer when I started listening to the debut album "Slaughter of Human Offerings in the New Age of Pan" by Polish black metallers DOMINANCE. The clouds were low once again and the people around me were showing their turned away face. For me, good black metal is about these things and moods. It must burn, scorch and cool at the same time. It must rip your face to blood. The Poles have done it well. This is a crazy ride straight to hell!
The band is composed of experienced musicians (MÖRTALIST, RAPED CHRIST) who decided to burn us to ashes. You can enjoy a really killer sound (Haldor Grunberg - Santa Studio (Warsaw, PL) (Behemoth, Dopelord, Witchmaster)), check out the warlike and very hilarious cover art (Witchfucker). The basis of the music of these maniacs are echoes from bands like MARDUK, DARK FUNERAL, 1349, but there are also light thrash motifs (SODOM). The result is a deadly cocktail that when you taste it you will die in mad convulsions. I've always said that you can tell good black metal by the fact that you feel like smashing the nearest wall. There's the proverbial evil, filth and pus in the songs. DOMINANCE may not be discovering anything new, but that's not even the point. In short, I have a constant urge to go back to the record, rip it into my head and listen to it properly loud. I've always preferred darkness and coldness, and that's why I often crawl into the shadows and enjoy the sharp melodies, sick vocals, devastating drums and incredibly dark moods that can be felt on the record. Like finding a decomposing carcass in the woods. A face without eyes, guts crawling out. Do you smell death too? That's exactly how "Slaughter of Human Offerings in the New Age of Pan" affects me. There's no more light, no more clean air. Only nihilism, dirt and filth, hatred and darkness. The beasts have won once again. And we have no choice but to dance on their graves. This pack has managed to record an album that is the perfect essence of what I love about this style. Devastating, nihilistic, freezing black metal blasphemy! An infernal entry into an evil dimension!
