Sledoval jsem stopy krve. Čekala mě dlouhá cesta. Temnotou, chladem, mrazem. Sestoupil jsem několik metrů pod zem a dlouho bloudil nekonečnými chodbami podzemí. Slyšel jsem ozvěny ze záhrobí, děsil se každého stínu. Finským DESECRESY vychází nové album a musel jsem najít místo, kde se mi bude poslouchat nejlépe. Ve starých kobkách, uprostřed smradlavých močálů, v jeskyních, kde bestie trhá svoji kořist na kusy. Stále mě fascinuje neklidná, strašidelná nálada celé desky. Pořád se s chutí procházím mlhavým městem a nasávám pach smogu.
Mám pro DESECRESY slabost. Líbí se mi, jakým způsobem tvoří Tommi Grönqvist hudbu. Sleduji jeho práci od začátku (odkazy na recenze a rozhovor naleznete dole pod článkem). Letos se opět jedná o bolestivé setkání s démony. Konečně jsem našel svůj cíl. Tady, ve starých opuštěných katakombách, vynikne nahrávka "Deserted Realms" nejvíce.
Seděl jsem uprostřed studené místnosti a poslouchal pozorně. Každé setkání je pro mě obřadem, pradávným rituálem. Prosévám mezi prsty prach svých předků a rozmlouvám s nemrtvými. Už dávno jsem pochopil. Hudba DESECRESY je určena hlavně pro ty, kteří navěky bloudí mezi naším a oním světem. Zvuk, obal, produkce, vše je podřízeno jedinému. Pohřbít vás zaživa. Jednotlivé motivy se plazí kupředu jako jedovatí hadi. Uhranou vás, zakousnou se do vaší mysli a nepustí. Dokud nezemřete! Hraje se tady pro fanoušky starého plesnivého death metalu i masivního doomu. Pokud máte rádi kapely typu HOODED MENACE, ATARAXY, INCANTATION, SLUGATHOR, SOLOTHUS, KRYPTS, BOLT THROWER, INCANTATION, ROTTREVORE, ABHORRENCE, DEAD CONGREGATION, DEMIGOD, určitě si "Deserted Realms" poslechněte, mohlo by se vám líbit. Budím se uprostřed noci a dávno už nevím, co je pravda a co sen. Navštěvují mě přízraky a zvou mě na dlouhý výlet bez konce. Sledujeme stopy krve, abychom nakonec zemřeli, znovu se narodili a uzavřeli kruh. Vždycky jsem měl nejraději muziku, které ve mě dokázala probudit emoce, která mě nenechá v klidu. Drásá mě a bolí, pálí a žhne, chladí a má v sobě poctivou jiskru. Nemůžu si pomoc, když tuhle desku poslouchám, tak vím, že mě čeká dlouhá cesta. Temnotou, chladem, mrazem. Sestoupím několik metrů pod zem a budu dlouho bloudit nekonečnými chodbami podzemí. Budu poslouchat ozvěny ze záhrobí, budu se děsit každého stínu. Death metalová pocta věčnosti! Mrazivé, temné ozvěny z krvavých močálů!

I followed the blood trail. I had a long way to go. Through darkness, cold, frost. I descended several meters underground and wandered for a long time through the endless corridors of the underground. I heard echoes from beyond the grave, dreading every shadow. Finnish DESECRESY has a new album coming out and I had to find the place where I could listen to it best. In old dungeons, in the middle of stinking swamps, in caves where the beast tears its prey apart. I'm still fascinated by the restless, haunting mood of the whole record. I still enjoy walking through the foggy city and taking in the smell of smog.
I have a soft spot for DESECRESY. I like the way Tommi Grönqvist creates music. I've been following his work since the beginning (links to reviews and an interview can be found at the bottom of the article). This year, it's again a painful encounter with demons. I have finally found my goal. It is here, in the old abandoned catacombs, that the recording of "Deserted Realms" stands out the most.
I sat in the middle of the cold room and listened intently. Every meeting is a rite of passage for me, an ancient ritual. I sift the dust of my ancestors through my fingers and converse with the undead. I understood long ago. The music of DESECRESY is especially for those who forever wander between this world and the next. The sound, the cover, the production, everything is subordinate to one thing. To bury you alive. Individual motifs slither forward like venomous snakes. They'll enchant you, bite into your mind and never let go. Until you die! Playing for fans of old moldy death metal and massive doom. If you like bands like HOODED MENACE, ATARAXY, INCANTATION, SLUGATHOR, SOLOTHUS, KRYPTS, BOLT THROWER, INCANTATION, ROTTREVORE, ABHORRENCE, DEAD CONGREGATION, DEMIGOD, definitely give "Deserted Realms" a listen, you might like it. I wake up in the middle of the night and I don't know what's true and what's a dream anymore. I'm visited by ghosts and invited on a long trip without end. We follow the trail of blood to finally die, be reborn and come full circle. I've always liked music best, music that can awaken emotions in me that won't leave me in peace. It scratches and hurts, burns and glows, chills and has an honest spark to it. I can't help it, when I listen to this record I know I have a long way to go. Through the dark, the cold, the frost. I'll descend a few metres underground and wander the endless corridors of the underground for a long time. I'll listen to the echoes from beyond, I'll be terrified of every shadow. Death metal tribute to eternity! Frosty, dark echoes from the bloody swamps!
