Vynořily se z mlhy jako přízraky. Vstoupil jsem do staré kobky, byla noc a děsily mě stíny. Postavy v divných pozicích připomínaly morbidní galerii. Maso, dávno shnilé, smějící se lebky, prašivina a neodbytný pocit, že mě někdo sleduje. Dívám se do tmy a mrazí mě v zádech. Vypadají jako živí, ale nejsou. Nebo ano? Slyším tichý šepot. Pak prořízne zapáchající vzduch první riff. Leknu se a potom ulehnu do své rakve.
Moje práce a podpora death metalových kapel někdy připomíná archeologii. Mám rád smečky, které hrají postaru, jako v devadesátých letech minulého století. Musí mít svůj výraz a jejich hudba musí bolet. Když si pustíte novinku polských ABOMINATED, určitě budete vědět, o čem píšu. Tohle je totiž smrt v přímém přenosu, zničující útok rozzuřených zombie. Masakr v márnici!
Poslouchat "Traumatic Putrefaction Abominated" je jako otevřít starou plesnivou rakev. Nejdřív ucítíte pach zatuchliny a dávno shnilého masa. Potom na vás zaútočí poctivý, reálný a divoký smrtící kov. Pokud máte rádi švédskou školu a britské grindové šílenství, tak se vám určitě budou líbit i ABOMINATED. Jedná se sice o debut, ale náhodě nebylo ponecháno nic. Jako vždy vynikající obal od mistra Juanjo Castellana, masivní, ostrý a zničující zvuk (recorded, mixed and mastered by Paweł Sota in Chróst Studio Sulejówek), tohle všechno je v podstatě dokonalé. Vy si tak můžete vychutnat smrtící koktejl, vykopat si svoji vlastní mrtvolu, trávit s kapelou dlouhé noci v márnicích. Tohle je perfektně zahraný starý a prašivý kov, který koluje i v mých žilách. Skladby jsou napsány velmi zkušeně, s démonickou elegancí starých mistrů. Pro mě osobně, se jedná o velké překvapení a kapelu, kterou budu nadále určitě sledovat. Hrát tak, aby to bylo uvěřitelné, děsivé a temné, je velmi těžké. ABOMINATED to umí na výbornou. Rozsekali mě na malé kousky, pohřbili zaživa a spálili na popel. Přesně jako v dobách mého mládí, když jsem v devadesátých letech s tímhle stylem začínal. Už je čas jít. Beru si do ruky lopatu a hřbitov čeká! Vynořily se z mlhy jako přízraky. They emerged from the mist like phantoms. I entered the old dungeon, it was night and the shadows were frightening. The figures in strange positions resembled a morbid gallery. Flesh, long rotten, laughing skulls, filth and the insistent feeling that I was being watched. I stare into the darkness and shudder. They look alive, but they're not. Or are they? I hear a low whisper. Then the first riff cuts through the fetid air. I startle and then I lie down in my coffin.
My work and support of death metal bands sometimes feels like archaeology. I like bands that play the old way, like in the 1990s. They have to have an expression and their music has to hurt. If you listen to the new album by Polish ABOMINATED, you will know what I am writing about. This is, after all, death live, a devastating attack by enraged zombies. Massacre in the morgue!
Listening to "Traumatic Putrefaction Abominated" is like opening an old moldy coffin. First you smell the musty odor and long-rotten meat. Then you're assaulted by honest, real and ferocious death metal. If you like the Swedish school and British grind madness, you will definitely like ABOMINATED. This may be their debut, but nothing has been left to chance. As always excellent cover artwork by master Juanjo Castellano, massive, sharp and devastating sound (recorded, mixed and mastered by Paweł Sota in Chróst Studio Sulejówek), all this is basically perfect. So you can enjoy a deadly cocktail, dig up your own corpse, spend long nights in morgues with the band. This is perfectly played old and dusty metal that runs through my veins too. The pieces are written with great skill, with the demonic elegance of the old masters. For me personally, this is a great surprise and a band I will definitely continue to follow. Playing in a way that is believable, scary and dark is very difficult. ABOMINATED does it perfectly. They cut me into little pieces, buried me alive and burned me to ashes. Just like in the days of my youth, when I started with this style in the 90s. It's time to go. I'm picking up my shovel and the cemetery is waiting! They emerged from the fog like ghosts. The old, rotten, stinking death metal disease from the cursed dungeons!
