Probudí tě uprostřed noci a řeknou ti, aby si šel. Tvé vnitřní hlasy. Venku je o čtyřicet let méně. Cestoval si časem, stal se démonem. Je to jako prokletí, musíš to udělat. Vydáš se na starý hřbitov. Prší a do kostí se ti vkrádá chlad. Vezmeš do rukou lopatu a exhumuješ další hrob. Jsi si absolutně jistý, protože ti tahle hudba koluje v žilách celý tvůj život. Moc dobře víš, o čem je dobrý black metal. Otevřeš prašivou rakev a uvnitř leží nové album kanadských tmářů SACRENOIR.
První, co tě doslova uhodí do obličeje, tak je zvuk. Je prašivý a chladný. Evokuje v tobě vzpomínky na dobu, kdy si byl mladý a snídal si každý den syrové maso. Pod touhle smečkou jsou podepsáni zkušení členové kanadského podzemí - Mr. Monarque (DRAVE, MONRARQUE, SANCTUAIRE) a Mr. ATHROS (FORTERESSE, NORDMEN, STARLIGHT RITUAL). Nemusíte mít strach, o kvalitu je opravdu postaráno. U téhle desky umrznete v temnotě!
Hudba je zde určena pro fanoušky DARKTHRONE, BATHORY, GORGOROTH, DARK FUNERAL. Ale nejen pro ně. Myslím si, že novou desku "Comme des Revenants Parmi les Ruines" ocení v podstatě všichni, kteří rádi tráví svůj čas v temnotě, mají rádi dlouhé stíny a preferují chlad. Mě osobně se na kapele nejvíc líbí to, že jsou uvěřitelní. Nepřinášejí sice nic nového, ale ze skladeb cítím takový ten klasický vztek a nenávist, které k tomuhle patří od jeho počátků. Jako bych se procházel někde v lesích kolem Montrealu nebo Quebecu. Je už dávno tma a já zase jednou nevím, co je pravda a co zlý sen. Okolo cesty leží mrtvá těla s vyceněnými zuby. Už dávno nemám strach, naučil jsem se žít bez světla. Songy v sobě mají drive a sílu, takovou tu pradávnou energii, která se dle mého nedá naučit. Musíte ji mít v sobě. Nedivil bych se, kdyby se album nahrávalo několik metrů pod zemí, v nějaké staré, dávno opuštěné kobce. Do stěn je otištěn nářek nemrtvých. Jsem starý pes, který si v hudbě hodně vybírá. Snažím se podporovat pouze smečky, které se mi líbí a o kterých si myslím, že mají potenciál. A SACRENOIR mě velmi elegantně pohřbili zaživa. Byla ještě tma, když jsem se vydal na cestu poprvé. Mlha nad hřbitovem mě ujistila, že jsem zde správně. Pozdravím nemrtvé a přidám hlasitost. Někde uvnitř, za vším tím chladem a nahrubo nasekanou tmou, je černý plamen. Hoří jasně a zřetelně. Jako tahle hudba. Zhasněte všechna světla! Mrazivý, temný, špinavý black metal s pradávnou patinou!

The music here is for fans of DARKTHRONE, BATHORY, GORGOROTH, DARK FUNERAL. But not only for them. I think that the new album "Comme des Revenants Parmi les Ruines" will be appreciated by basically everyone who likes to spend their time in the dark, likes long shadows and prefers the cold. What I personally like most about the band is that they are believable. They don't bring anything new to the table, but I can feel the kind of classic anger and hatred from the songs that has been a part of this since its inception. It's like I'm walking in the woods somewhere around Montreal or Quebec. It's long since dark and once again I don't know what's true and what's a bad dream. There are dead bodies lying around the road, teeth bared. I'm not afraid anymore, I've learned to live without light. The songs have drive and power, that ancient energy that I don't think can be taught. You have to have it in you. I wouldn't be surprised if the album was recorded several meters underground, in some old, long abandoned dungeon. The walls are imprinted with the cries of the undead. I'm an old dog who picks and chooses in music. I try to only support bands that I like and think have potential. And SACRENOIR very elegantly buried me alive. It was still dark when I first hit the road. The fog over the cemetery assured me that I was right here. I salute the undead and turn up the volume. Somewhere inside, beyond all the cold and coarsely chopped darkness, is a black flame. It burns bright and clear. Like this music. Turn off all the lights! Freezing, dark, dirty black metal with an ancient patina!
