Někdy si představuji, co by se stalo, kdyby vojáci z první i druhé světové války znovu povstali. Po světě by se toulaly zástupy krvelačných zombie. Utržené nohy, prostřelené lebky, mučení, utrpení a bolest, všechno bychom znovu viděli. Abychom nezapomněli, protože se nám to neustále stává. Téma války a black a death metalu je navždy spojené. Protože obojí má velmi podobnou atmosféru. Pokud tedy muziku hraje kapela, která rozumí své práci. Dánští maniaci STURMTIGER tyto témata řeší ve svých textech. Stačilo mi první přehrání a ihned jsem věděl, že jsem v zákopech. A spolu se mnou tisíce nemrtvých vojáků.
Dánové jsou jako divocí psi, cvičení na zabíjení. Album působí již od začátku velmi nekompromisně, surově. Přesto, když budete poslouchat pozorně, v něm naleznete spoustu morbidních melodií. A také, vztek, nenávist, temnotu a chlad. Nezbývá mi nic jiného, než nabít pistoli a čekat na rozkaz.
Líbí se mi syrový zvuk, vše je náležitě špinavé a hnusné. Obal také zaujme, podle mého se ke hrané muzice opravdu hodí. Když se na něj dívám, vyvolává ve mě velkou spoustu otázek. A to je dobře. Co se týká hudební stránky, tak Dánové se pohybují na stejných bojištích jako třeba takoví BLASPHEMY, DIOCLETIAN, BLACK WITCHERY, BEHERIT, ARCHGOAT, SARCÓFAGO, REVENGE. Z black metalu a death metalu je zde namíchám velmi prudký jed, který když vypijete, tak zemřete v šílených křečích. Než se tak ale stane, tak zažijete úplně stejné pocity, jako voják, kterému lhali o slávě a vítezství. Místo toho vám prostřelí hlavu a poslední co uvidíte, tak budou oči kamarádů, kteří jsou na tom úplně stejně jako vy. Mám rád muziku, která má atmosféru, u které se moje myšlenky rozlétnou a fantazie začne pracovat na plný plyn. "Transcendent Warfare" doporučuji poslouchat v chladu a temnotě, nejlépe po zhlédnutí nějakého dokumentu z jedné ze světových válek. Potom si uvědomíte, jak jsme jako lidský druh nepoučitelní. Stále posíláme mladé kluky do válek, místo toho, aby pracovali a žili. STURMTIGER vám ukazují pravou, hnusnou a ošklivou tvář války. A dělají to s nadšením zkušených zabijáků. Sometimes I imagine what would happen if the soldiers of the First and Second World War rose up again. There would be hordes of bloodthirsty zombies roaming the world. Legs blown off, skulls shot through, torture, suffering and pain, we'd see it all again. We would not forget, because it happens to us all the time. The themes of war and black and death metal are forever linked. Because both have a very similar atmosphere. As long as the music is played by a band that understands their job. Danish maniacs STURMTIGER address these themes in their lyrics. I only had to play the first track and immediately knew I was in the trenches. And with me, thousands of undead soldiers.
The Danes are like wild dogs, trained to kill. The album has a very uncompromising, raw feel from the start. Yet, if you listen carefully, there are plenty of morbid melodies. And also, anger, hatred, darkness and coldness. I have no choice but to load the gun and wait for the order.
I like the raw sound, everything is properly dirty and nasty. The packaging is also eye-catching, I think it really suits the music being played. When I look at it, it raises a lot of questions for me. And that's good. On the musical side, the Danes are on the same battlefields as the likes of BLASPHEMY, DIOCLETIAN, BLACK WITCHERY, BEHERIT, ARCHGOAT, SARCÓFAGO, REVENGE. From black metal and death metal is mixed here a very violent poison, which if you drink, you will die in mad convulsions. But before that happens, you will experience exactly the same feelings as a soldier who was lied to about glory and victory. Instead, you'll be shot through the head and the last thing you'll see is the eyes of your friends who are in the same boat as you. I like music that has an atmosphere that makes my thoughts fly and my imagination go into overdrive. I recommend listening to "Transcendent Warfare" in the cold and dark, preferably after watching a documentary from one of the world wars. Then you will realize how unteachable we are as a human species. We keep sending young boys off to wars instead of working and living. STURMTIGER shows you the true, ugly face of war. And they do it with the enthusiasm of experienced killers. Sometimes I imagine what would happen if the soldiers of WWI and WWII rose up again.
