Vždy, když už je úplně nejhůř, tak se objeví. Stojí ve stínu a krmí se bolestí. V žilách jim koluje černá krev. Jí jenom jed a když se vám povede pohlédnout do jejich tváře, zjistíte, že žádnou nemají. Občas zazní tichý smích. Chřestí svými kostmi. Máš zase pocit, že umíráš? Neboj se, převedou tě na druhou stranu. Ale nemysli si, žádný ráj neexistuje. Budeš trpět i po smrti. V nekonečném chladu a temnotě. Jsou jedinou jistotou na tomhle zlém světě. Jenom oni, démoni a Smrt. Krutá a ošklivá smrt.
A také poctivý death metal. Britští AGELESS SUMMONING letos vydávají své první dlouhohrající album. Je po okraj narvané ostrými riffy, mocným vokálem, zničujícími bicími. Má v sobě pradávnou bestialitu a smrdí sírou. Je vám doufám jasné, že tohle je přesně hudba, která koluje i v mých žilách.
Kopu si zase svůj vlastní hrob, poslouchám u toho "Corrupting The Entempled Plane" a mám neodbytný pocit, že mě někdo sleduje. Už dlouhé roky také raději trávím svůj čas ve stínu. Moc dobře vím, jak to v podzemí chodí. Stále si užívám prašivinu, hnilobu a chlad, které vás nakazí jako nějaká pradávná choroba. Prostředí hřbitova a katakomb na mě působí úplně stejně jako tahle deska. Je velmi dobře napsána, nepostrádá spoustu ošklivých a hnisavých nálad. A to vše ve stylu třeba takových IMMOLATION, MORBID ANGEL, INCANTATION, DRAWN AND QUARTERED, DIABOLIC. Je hodně znát, že pod muzikou jsou podepsáni zkušení muzikanti (ABYSSAL, SCORDATURA), kteří moc dobře vědí, jak nás převést na druhou stranu. Pochválit musím masivní a ostrý zvuk. Ten se mi ihned zadřel pod kůži. Velmi zajímavý a dobře zapamatovatelný je i obal od mistra ve svém oboru Paolo Girardiho. Nejvíc se mi osvědčil poslech brzy ráno, když se ještě na hřbitově toulaly přízraky. Přidával jsem postupně hlasitost, užíval si atmosféru plnou bolesti, chladu a totální tmy. Myslím si, přísahám na to, že se tohle album povedlo po všech stránkách. Pokud máte rádi dlouhé stíny, poctivou hrobnickou práci a všude přítomnou smrt, tak neváhejte ani chvilku. They eat only poison, and if you can look into their faces, you'll find they have none. Occasionally, there's a quiet laugh. They rattle their bones. Do you feel like you're dying again? Don't worry, they'll take you to the other side. But don't think there's no paradise. You'll suffer even in death. In endless cold and darkness. They're the only certainty in this evil world. Only them, demons and Death. A cruel and ugly death.
And also honest death metal. British AGELESS SUMMONING release their first full-length album this year. It's packed to the brim with sharp riffs, powerful vocals, devastating drums. It has an ancient bestiality and reeks of brimstone. I hope it's clear to you that this is exactly the music that runs through my veins.
I'm digging my own grave again, listening to "Corrupting The Entempled Plane" and I have the insistent feeling that someone is watching me. For years, I've also preferred to spend my time in the shadows. I'm very familiar with the underground. I still enjoy the dirt, the rot and the cold that infects you like some ancient disease. The environment of the cemetery and the catacombs has the same effect on me as this record. It's very well written, not lacking in a lot of nasty and festering moods. And all in the style of IMMOLATION, MORBID ANGEL, INCANTATION, DRAWN AND QUARTERED, DIABOLIC. It is very obvious that the music is signed by experienced musicians (ABYSSAL, SCORDATURA) who know very well how to convert us to the other side. I must praise the massive and sharp sound. It immediately got under my skin. The cover by Paolo Girardi, a master in his field, is also very interesting and memorable. I found it most useful to listen to it early in the morning, when the ghosts were still wandering in the cemetery. I gradually turned up the volume, enjoying the atmosphere full of pain, cold and total darkness. I think, I swear, that this album succeeded in every aspect. If you like long shadows, honest grave work and death everywhere, don't hesitate a moment. It always shows up when it's at its worst. Standing in the shadows, feeding off the pain. This album burns with a bright black flame! Demonic, morbid death metal from the old dusty catacombs!
