Někdy bývám překvapený, odkud se zlo objeví. Jakoby měl každý z nás v sobě ošklivou a temnou stránku. Starý popsaný pergamen, na němž jsou zvrácené modlitby. Když žijeme dlouho ve tmě, býváme prokletí. Už dlouho jsem neviděl světlo, už dlouho jsem nevylezl ze své kobky. Dovnitř pustím jenom zahnívající, silnou hudbu. Musí žhnout a pálit, musí smrdět sírou. Vybírám si velmi pečlivě a dnes jsem se rozhodl, že si znovu pustím novinku malajských TOMB.
Jedná se o nekompromisní smečku, která pokaždé, když vypustí mezi nás nevěřící nějakou hudbu, tak připomíná bájné bestie ze starých časů. Kombinace syrového a prašivého black a death metalu vás přikove na zeď. Novinka "The Dark Subconscious" mi připomíná starodávný, zvrácený rituál pro vyvolání samotné Smrti.
Na začátku byl chaos a z něj vzešlo veškeré lidské i zvířecí zlo. Pokud bychom chtěli hudbu těchto tmářů nějakým způsobem charakterizovat, museli bychom se vydat na dlouhý výlet do minulosti. Pokud se vám líbí kanadský bestiální war metal (REVENGE, BLASPHEMY), první alba SAMAEL, ROOT nebo třeba BLACK FUNERAL, neváhejte ani chvilku. Dostanete hudbu, která se vám doslova vypálí do mozku. Skladby v sobě mají zvláštní, morbidně přitažlivou a podmanivou atmosféru. Stačí jenom zhasnout všechna světla, odříkat několik obrácených modliteb a myslím, že se dostanete do záhrobí, stejně jako já. Hudba TOMB je extrém, který nebude vyhovovat každému. Je to tak v pořádku, stejně nakonec vydrží jen silné kusy. Při poslechu mám neodbytný pocit, že se dusím nahrubo nasekanou tmou. Topím se, jsem pověšen na stromě a kývám se do rytmu. "The Dark Subconscious" je nahrávkou, která musela vznikat na dávno opuštěných pohřebištích. V místech, kde se stalo něco ošklivého, na kterých byly oběti ještě před smrtí zohaveny. Historie násilí a zla jsou stejné jako historie lidstva. Malajci nám nastavují zrcadlo. Otevírám další rakev, přidávám hlasitost, užívám si syrový a prašivý zvuk, s chutí se podívám na obal. Jsem již dávno prokletý, ztracený a zavržený. Novinka těchto maniaků mě uhranula a stala se na dlouhou dobu mým průvodcem záhrobím. Hnilobný, bestiální, děsivý black death metal, který smrdí sírou a zkaženou krví!

In the beginning there was chaos, and out of it came all human and animal evil. If we wanted to characterize the music of these darkies in any way, we would have to take a long trip into the past. If you like Canadian bestial war metal (REVENGE, BLASPHEMY), the first albums of SAMAEL, ROOT or even BLACK FUNERAL, don't hesitate a moment. You will get music that will literally burn into your brain. The songs have a strange, morbidly appealing and captivating atmosphere. All you have to do is turn off all the lights, say a few inverted prayers and I think you'll be transported to the afterlife, just like me. TOMB's music is an extreme that won't suit everyone. It's okay that way, only the strong bits will last in the end anyway. Listening to it, I have the insistent feeling that I'm choking on coarsely chopped darkness. I'm drowning, suspended in a tree, swaying to the beat. "The Dark Subconscious" is a record that must have been made in long-abandoned burial grounds. Places where something nasty happened, where the victims were mutilated before they died. The history of violence and evil is the same as the history of mankind. The Malaysians are holding up a mirror to us. I open another coffin, turn up the volume, enjoy the raw and dusty sound, look at the cover with relish. I am long since damned, lost and rejected. The novelty of these maniacs has captivated me and become my guide to the beyond for a long time. Rotten, bestial, horrifying black death metal that reeks of sulfur and corrupted blood!
