Někdy je hrozně těžké zjistit, odkud k nám zlo přišlo. Zjeví se náhle, udeří a rozplyne se jako mlha nad hřbitovem. Jakoby opravdu existovala jiná dimenze, v které je vše jinak. Napojená na nekonečný vesmír. Negace všeho dobrého, špína a hnis, odkapávající ze staré rány. Když poslouchám nové EP italských INTO DARKNESS, tak mi připadá, jako by se ke mě vrátila dávná choroba. Mokvající, bolestivá, šílená. Pánové a dáma ve mě probudili spoustu černých myšlenek.
Jejich hudba je totiž velmi uvěřitelná, zákeřná a jedovatá. Je napsaná se zkušenostmi dobrých muzikantů. Pálí i chladí zároveń. Je po okraj narvaná plesnivými melodiemi a zajímavými momenty. Přiznám se bez mučení, novince "Cassini - Huygens" jsem propadl hrdlem.
Italové se drží postupů staré školy, tak jak je známe u kapel typu INCANTATION, BOLT THROWER, AUTOPSY, ASPHYX, MYTHIC, WINTER, MASSACRE. Jedná se přesně o takový ten mix drtivých pasáží s těmi chladnými. Novinka určitě ale osloví nejen staré fanoušky kovu smrti. Stojí sice na známých základech, ale přináší i spoustu nových momentů. INTO DARKNES tak lze zařadit po bok současných skupin hrajících hezky postaru, ale zároveň se nejedná jen o dnes tolik časté obyčejné retro. Naopak, kapela si hraje s melodiemi jako šelma se svojí kořistí. Umí být divoká a zběsilá, ale také navodit absolutně nihilsitickou a pochmurnou náladu. Skladby jsou nahrány velmi inteligentně, jsou pestré a obsahují v sobě velké množství černé energie. Hodně k tomu přispívá i skvělý morbiní zvuk (Carlo Meroni - Recording, Mixing, Mastering). Povedený je i obal od mistra Alessandro Daraka, který perfektně navazuje i na témata textů. Italové se zaobírají mystickou temnotou vesmíru a můžeme je zařadit po bok dalších "sci-fi" smeček (například BLOOD INCANTATION). "Cassini - Huygens" jsem na sebe nechal působit v různých denních hodinách a nejlépe se mi osvědčil poslech v noci. Když jsou stíny dlouhé a na obloze jsou vidět hvězdy. Dovedu si představit, že k nám přiletí vetřelci a zničí náš nepoučitelný rod. Než se tak ale stane, budu poslouchat tuhle desku stále dokola. Je totiž vynikající po všech stránkách. Doporučuji já i všichni nemrtví. Mystický doom death metalový útok z nekonečných hlubin věčnosti!

When I listen to the new EP of Italian INTO DARKNESS, I feel like an old disease has returned to me. Swollen, painful, mad. Gentlemen and lady have awakened a lot of black thoughts in me.
Their music is very believable, insidious and poisonous. It's written with the experience of good musicians. It burns and chills at the same time. It's packed to the brim with moldy melodies and interesting moments. I'll admit without torture, the new "Cassini - Huygens" fell down my throat.
The Italians stick to the old-school practices as we know them from bands like INCANTATION, BOLT THROWER, AUTOPSY, ASPHYX, MYTHIC, WINTER, MASSACRE. It's exactly that mix of crushing passages with cool ones. But the novelty will definitely appeal not only to old fans of death metal. It's based on familiar foundations, but it also brings a lot of new moments. INTO DARKNES can thus be placed alongside the current bands playing nice old-fashioned music, but at the same time it's not just the common retro that is so common nowadays. On the contrary, the band plays with melodies like a beast with its prey. It can be wild and frantic, but also evoke an absolutely nihilsitic and gloomy mood. The songs are recorded very intelligently, are colourful and contain a lot of black energy. The great Morbini sound (Carlo Meroni - Recording, Mixing, Mastering) contributes a lot to this. The cover artwork by master Alessandro Darak is also hilarious, which perfectly ties in with the themes of the lyrics. The Italians deal with the mystical darkness of the universe and can be placed alongside other "sci-fi" packs (for example BLOOD INCANTATION).I let "Cassini - Huygens" affect me at different times of the day and the best listening was at night. When the shadows are long and the stars are visible in the sky. I imagine aliens will come to us and destroy our unteachable race. But until that happens, I'll listen to this record over and over again. It's excellent in every way. Recommended by me and all the undead. A mystical doom death metal assault from the endless depths of eternity!
