Čekal jsem ve stínu než se vrátí z lovu. Bolelo mě celé tělo a cítil jsem blízkost smrti. V hlubokých močálech zahynulo poslední dobou příliš mnoho lidí. Nikdo nebyl nalezen a znovu ožily pradávné legendy o krvelačné bestii. Jenže to nebyla žádná bájná příšera, ale jenom solidní pán, který měl pokřivenou mysl. Ve svém volném čase mučil své oběti a působil jako vyslanec pekla. Otevřu dveře a zachvátí mě panika. Mrtvá těla, hlavy nabodnuté na kůly. Ne tohle není horor, ale krutá realita. Je to něco podobného, jako když posloucháte obyčejný smrtící kov a nebo se setkáte s prašivou šelmou, jako jsou DESEKRYPTOR.
Kapela z Indiany přichází se svým prvním dlouhohrajícím albem. A musím rovnou napsat, že již při prvním poslechu jsem nebyl v současném zlém světě, ale v nekonečných močálech bolesti. Hromady bílých kostí, skvělý masivní a prašivý zvuk. Hniloba, špína a pach čerstvě exhumovaných hrobů. Tohle všechno je novinka "Vortex Oblivion". Poslouchejte ozvěny ze záhrobí.
Pokud bych měl hudbu DESEKRYPTOR k někomu přirovnat, volil bych jména jako INCANTATION, DISMA, FUNEBRARUM, AUTOPSY, SEDIMENTUM, PHRENELITH, UNDERGANG a spousta dalších tmářů, kteří dokáží přesvědčivě znázornit hudbou absolutní tmu. Pohybuji se v podzemí již velmi dlouho, jsem starý pes, který poslouchá už jen desky, které mu dokáží rozdrtit kosti. Američané v sobě mají přesně takový ten těžko popsatelný feeling a drive, který dělá z dobrých nahrávek ty vynikající. Schválně, zkuste si vzít jejich dlouhohrající debut "Vortex Oblivion" s sebou, až půjdete zase jednou do bažin. Určitě potom také uvidíte starý rozpadlý dům, v jehož sklepech žije hnusná smrt. Budete cítit jako já mrtvolný puch. Uslyšíte šepot a utrpení nemrtvých. Oceníte jako já velmi dobře napsané a složené motivy, ostré riffy, chorobný vokál i spoustu zajímavých momentů. Musíte sice být fanouškem devadesátkového metalu a uznávat dávné metody a postupy v hudbě, ale to se tak nějak očekává. Pánové sice nepřinášejí nic nového, ani převratného, ale já jim jejich muziku věřím. A to je pro mě asi nejdůležitější. DESEKRYPTOR vám vyrvou vznitřnosti z těla a udělají to s elegancí zkušených mistrů. Mám zase jednou chuť vzít do rukou lopatu, vsát brzy ráno a jít si vykopat vlastní hrob. Mrtvá těla, hlavy nabodnuté na kůly. Ne tohle není horor, ale krutá realita. Plesnivá death metalová hrobka vydala svědectví o temnotě, hnisu, špíně a nekonečné smrti!

The band from Indiana comes with their first full-length album. And I have to write right off the bat that on the very first listen I was not in the current evil world, but in the endless swamps of pain. Piles of white bones, great massive and dusty sound. Rot, dirt and the smell of freshly exhumed graves. This is the new "Vortex Oblivion". Listen to the echoes from beyond the grave.
If I had to compare DESEKRYPTOR's music to someone else, I would choose names like INCANTATION, DISMA, FUNEBRARUM, AUTOPSY, SEDIMENTUM, PHRENELITH, UNDERGANG and many other dark artists who can convincingly portray absolute darkness through their music. I've been around the underground for a very long time, I'm an old dog who only listens to records that can crush his bones. The Americans have exactly the kind of hard-to-describe feeling and drive that makes good records great. In fact, try to take their full-length debut "Vortex Oblivion" with you when you go to the swamp again. I'm sure you'll also then see an old dilapidated house with a nasty death living in the basement. You'll smell the stench of the dead like I do. You will hear the whispers and the suffering of the undead. Like me, you will appreciate the well-written and composed themes, the sharp riffs, the morbid vocals and many interesting moments. You have to be a fan of 90's metal and acknowledge the ancient methods and practices in music, but that's kind of expected. The gentlemen may not bring anything new or groundbreaking, but I trust their music. And that's probably the most important thing for me. DESEKRYPTOR will rip the guts out of your body and do it with the elegance of seasoned masters. It makes me want to pick up a shovel once again, suck it up early in the morning and go dig my own grave. Dead bodies, heads impaled on stakes. No, this isn't horror, it's a cruel reality. A moldy death metal tomb bears witness to darkness, pus, filth and endless death!
