Někdy bývám překvapený, jakou podobu na sebe ďábel bere. Bývá milým společníkem, umí naslouchat jako kněz. Otevřete mu svoji duši a prodáte ji peklu. U některé hudby si připadám, jako bych padal po zádech do hluboké jámy. Rozpadnu se na tisíc kousků a umírám v šílených bolestech. Kývám se do rytmu a drásám si obličej do krve. Na nové album floridských NIGHTMARER jsme čekali pět let. Pánové jsou zpět a opět působí jako jezdci apokalypsy.

Démonický, technický death metal se spoustou zajímavých a neotřelých momentů. Zavřete za sebou bránu a nechte se sežehnout plameny pekelnými. Skladby jsou opět napsány s neskutečnou a zničující silou. Je v nich nakumulován vztek, nenávist a spousta nahrubo nasekané tmy. Smrt zase jednou tančí se Satanem. Tentokrát oba ukázali svoji krutou, ošklivou tvář.

Není žádným tajemstvím, že pod kapelou jsou podepsáni zkušení muzikanti (ALLUVIAL, CONVULSING, CIGAN, THE OCEAN). Ti se opět sešli, aby nám předložili shnilé kousky smrtícího kovu ve stylu IMMOLATION, ULCERATE, GORGUTS, SUNLESS, MITHRIDATUM. Jedná se o velmi bolestivou, disonantní symfonii, u které se stanete jen zcela zbytečným kusem masa. Představte si starý opuštěný chrám, do kterého se chodíte dlouhé roky modlit. Právě jste zjistili, že vám celý život lhali. Songy jsou napsané s takovým tím starým, poctivým a uvěřitelným stylem. Jejich dlouhodobý poslech způsobuje prokletí. NIGHTMARER hrají těžko uchopitelnou hudbu z jiných sfér, ale i přes její složitost a náročnost si v sobě udržují drive a feelling. Podobná alba se líbí démonům, padlým andělům i všem, kteří poznají přetvářku. Songy jsou mocné, s velmi masivním a ostrým zvukem Raphaël Bovey (Mixing, Mastering). Celkový dojem potom velmi vkusně doplňuje zajímavý obal od Jeanne Comateuse, jejíž práce se stala doslova poznávacím znamením kapely. Američané balancují někde na tenké hranici mezi šílenstvím a normálností. A dělají to velmi elegantně a se značnými zkušenostmi. Osobně se mi nejvíc líbí určitý neklid, chvění, které je v jejich nové nahrávce obsaženo ve velmi velké míře. Někdy bývám překvapený, jakou podobu na sebe ďábel bere. Tentokrát nám ukázal svoji děsivou tvář. Poslouchejte "Deformity Adrift" a určitě mi dáte za pravdu. Démonická, disonantní, technická death metalová symfonie!

The songs are once again written with incredible and devastating power. There is anger, hatred and a lot of coarsely chopped darkness accumulated in them. Death once again dances with Satan. This time, both show their cruel, ugly faces.

It is no secret that the band is signed by experienced musicians (ALLUVIAL, CONVULSING, CIGAN, THE OCEAN). They have once again come together to present us with rotten pieces of death metal in the style of IMMOLATION, ULCERATE, GORGUTS, SUNLESS, MITHRIDATUM. This is a very painful, dissonant symphony, where you become a completely useless piece of meat. Imagine an old abandoned temple that you have been going to for years to pray. You've just discovered that you've been lied to all your life. The songs are written with that old, honest and believable style. Listening to them for a long time causes a curse. NIGHTMARER play hard to grasp music from other realms, but despite its complexity and difficulty, they maintain drive and feelling. Similar albums appeal to demons, fallen angels, and anyone who recognizes disguise. The songs are powerful, with a very massive and crisp Raphaël Bovey (Mixing, Mastering) sound. The overall impression is then very tastefully complemented by the interesting cover artwork by Jeanne Comateuse, whose work has literally become a hallmark of the band. The Americans balance somewhere on the thin line between madness and normality. And they do it very elegantly and with considerable experience. Personally, what I like most is a certain restlessness, a trembling that is present in their new record to a very large extent. Sometimes I'm surprised what form the devil takes. This time he showed us his scary face. Listen to "Deformity Adrift" and you'll definitely give me the benefit of the doubt. A demonic, dissonant, technical death metal symphony!
