První příznaky se u mě projevily před několika měsíci. Nikdo nevěděl, co se mnou bude. Vyhledával jsem stín, světlo mě děsilo, ploužil jsem se ulicemi, jako tělo bez duše. Jako nějaká šílená zombie. Lékaři nevěděli, co se mnou. Měl jsem děsivé noční můry a toužil jsem po čerstvé krvi. Chodil jsem nočními ulicemi a pokaždé jsem skončil na hřbitově za městem. Tančil jsem s démony, kopal si vlastní hrob a poslouchal stále dokola nové album šílenců WILD BEYOND.
Jako zasažený nějakou starodávnou chorobou se cítím i při poslechu nové desky této kapely. Ta je tvořena zkušenými členy podsvětí. Hudebně se potom jedná o black thrash metalovou jízdu od začátku do konce. A rozhodně se nejedná jen o dnes tolik časté retro. Naopak, pánové hrají od srdce a přidávají ke klasickým postupům spoustu vlastních nápadů a invence.
Pokud bych měl hudbu WILD BEYOND k někomu přirovnat, určitě mě napadají VOIVOD, AURA NOIR, NIFELHEIM, HELLHAMMER, CELTIC FROST, BULLDOZER, SODOM. Songy se mi ihned doslova zadřely do mozku a způsobily v něm pořádné krvácení. Líbí se mi, jakým způsobem pánové hudbu napsali a složili. Má v sobě drive a sílu dávných předků, ale zároveň je pestrá a zajímavá. V některých momentech bych se nebál napsat i svým způsobem progresivní. Poslouchat album "Wild Beyond" je jako navštívit starou hrobku. Uprostřed chladu a temnoty leží zohavené tělo. Máte pocit, že jej odněkud znáte. Je vám povědomé. Přidáváte hlasitost, až na samou hranici bolesti, abyste nakonec pochopili, že vy jste ten mrtvý. Co se týká zvuku, obalu a dalších důležitých formalit, vše je v nejlepším pořádku. Nahrávka působí neklidným, těkavým dojmem. Nutí mě si podupávat nohou a rovnat prašivé kosti do rakví. Pokud máte tenhle styl rádi, tak neváhejte ani chvilku. Zavřete se do opuštěné kobky, nakreslete na zeď pentagram a počkejte do půlnoci. První příznaky se u mě projevily před několika měsíci. Nikdo nevěděl, co se mnou bude. My first symptoms appeared a few months ago. Nobody knew what was going to happen to me. I sought the shadows, the light frightened me, I stumbled through the streets like a body without a soul. Like some kind of mad zombie. The doctors didn't know what to do with me. I had terrifying nightmares and craved fresh blood. I also feel like I'm stricken with some ancient disease when listening to this band's new album. It is made up of experienced members of the underworld. Musically, it is a black thrash metal ride from start to finish. And it's definitely not just the retro that is so common nowadays. On the contrary, the gentlemen play from the heart and add a lot of their own ideas and inventiveness to the classic progressions.
If I had to compare WILD BEYOND's music to someone, I can definitely think of VOIVOD, AURA NOIR, NIFELHEIM, HELLHAMMER, CELTIC FROST, BULLDOZER, SODOM. The songs literally immediately hit my brain and caused a lot of bleeding. I like the way the gentlemen wrote and composed the music. It has the drive and power of its ancient ancestors, but at the same time it is varied and interesting. At some points I wouldn't be afraid to write progressive in a way. Listening to "Wild Beyond" is like visiting an old tomb. In the midst of the cold and darkness lies a mutilated body. You feel like you know it from somewhere. It's familiar. You turn up the volume, to the very edge of pain, to finally realize that you are the dead one. As far as sound, packaging and other important formalities are concerned, everything is in perfect order. The recording has a restless, volatile feel. It makes me stamp my foot and straighten my scabby bones into coffins. If you like this style, don't hesitate a moment. Lock yourself in an abandoned dungeon, draw a pentagram on the wall and wait until midnight. I first showed symptoms a few months ago. Nobody knew what was going to happen to me. I sought the shadows, the light frightened me, I stumbled through the streets like a body without a soul. Now I know, I've become a ghost by listening to "Wild Beyond". And I'm glad I did. Black thrash metal where you shake hands with demons!
