Nastala doba, abych si vybral vlastní hrob. Čas nezastavíte a smrt se nezadržitelně blíží. Starý hřbitov, vysoko v horách, by mohl být místem mého věčného odpočinku. Na náhrobcích jsou napsána jména kapel, které jsem měl celý život rád. Italští VALGRIND mají hrobku kousek za hřbitovní zdí, v místech, kam se vždy pohřbívali nevěřící. Mám už nějaký čas doma jejich novou desku "Millennium of Night Bliss" a tak jsem samozřejmě přijal pozvání do katakomb.
Na tuhle smečku je totiž spolehnutí. Vlajku s lebkou a zkříženými hnáty drží hrdě vztyčenou od devadesátých let minulého století. Jedná se přesně o ten druh skupiny, o které víte, že od ní dostanete poctivou porci shnilého masa. Letos pánové znovu potvrzují svoji pozici v undergroundu a vyvrhli mezi nás skladby, které vás pohřbí zaživa. Hrob je znovu otevřen a temnota čeká!
Koluje nám v žilách stejná zkažená krev. Kolem je absolutní nepropustná tma a zlo čeká, až bude vpuštěno mezi nás. Mocný, masivní, hutný a chladný zvuk vás nenechá na pochybách. Zde se hraje poctivě, s touhou po zabíjení hudbou. Představte si dávno opuštěné katakomby, o kterých se říká, že v nich straší nemrtví. Někde v těchto místech muselo nové album vznikat. Pokud máte rádi smečky typu MORBID ANGEL, NILE, IMMOLATION, MONSTROSITY, určitě se rádi pokloníte i této nahrávce. Je po okraj narvaná hnisem, špínou, vztekem a nenávistí. Má v sobě vše, co v sobě má mít opravdový, reálný smrtící kov. VALGRIND jsou nekompromisní, totálně zničující a zároveň si zachovávají schopnost napsat zřetelné a silné melodie. Italští tmáři vám vypálí do mozku cejch. Navíc, a to je pro mě asi nejdůležitější, mě baví desku poslouchat. Vracím se k ní nejčastěji v noci. Je mojí noční můrou, průvodcem, když hledám místo pro svůj hrob. "Millennium of Night Bliss" je majestátním dílem od mistrů v oboru. Zároveň je ve skladbách obsaženo velké množství nahrubo nasekané tmy a šílenství. Cítím v kostech, že bych si měl vybrat vlastní hrob. Čas nezastavíte a smrt se nezadržitelně blíží. Jsem tu správně, mezi rozkládajícími se těly. V Hádově říši, v nekonečných močálech plných mršin a utopenců. Démonický, temný death metalový masakr z prokletých katakomb!

The tombstones are inscribed with the names of bands I've loved all my life. Italy's VALGRIND have a tomb just outside the cemetery wall, in a place where non-believers have always been buried. I've had their new album "Millennium of Night Bliss" at home for a while now, so of course I accepted the invitation to the catacombs.
Because this is a pack you can count on. They have proudly held the flag with the skull and crossbones since the 1990s. This is exactly the kind of band you know you're going to get a fair portion of rotten meat from. This year, the gents reaffirm their position in the underground, and they've churned out tracks amongst us that will bury you alive. The grave is open again and the darkness awaits!
The same corrupt blood runs through our veins. There is absolute impenetrable darkness all around, and evil is waiting to be let in. The powerful, massive, dense, and cold sound will leave you in no doubt. Here it is played with honesty, with a desire to kill with music. Imagine long-abandoned catacombs said to be haunted by the undead. Somewhere in these places the new album must have been made. If you like the likes of MORBID ANGEL, NILE, IMMOLATION, MONSTROSITY, you will surely be happy to pay homage to this record as well. It's packed to the brim with pus, filth, rage and hate. It's got everything a true, real death metal should have in it. VALGRIND is uncompromising, and utterly devastating while retaining the ability to write distinct and powerful melodies. The Italian darkies will burn a brand into your brain. Plus, and this is probably the most important thing for me, I enjoy listening to the record. I come back to it most often at night. It's my nightmare, my guide when I'm looking for my grave. "Millennium of Night Bliss" is a majestic work from the masters of the field. At the same time, the tracks contain a great deal of rough-hewn darkness and madness. I feel in my bones that I should choose my own grave. You can't stop time and death is inexorably approaching. I'm right here, among the decaying bodies. In the realm of Hades, in the endless swamps of carrion and drowning. A demonic, dark death metal massacre from the cursed catacombs!
