Mrtvolný puch, zápach rozkládajících se těl. Smrt má mnoho podob a zůstane navždy otisknuta do vašich tváří. Dokud se nerozpadnete v prach. Našlapuji tiše, abych nenarušil odpočinek dávno zesnulých. Dnes se mám setkat mezi náhrobky s italskou death metalovou skupinou THRONE OF FLESH. Se smečkou, která je složena ze samých zkušených členů podsvětí. Z mlhy se vynoří siluety démonů.
Jsme tady správně. Hraje se zde poctivý, starý death metal z dávno opuštěných katakomb. Pomalu přidávám hlasitost a z hrobů lezou zombie. Tohle je hudba pro všechny fanoušky starých zapomenutých hřbitovů. Skladby musely vznikat hluboko pod zemí. V márnicích a plesnivých kobkách. Smrt má nové jméno, říká si THRONE OF FLESH.
Oceňuji velmi dobře ošetřený zvuk. Je masivní, nechutný a čitelný. Líbí se mi i obal, který krásně vystihuje to, co se na desce odehrává. Pradávné smrtící rituály. Ostré riffy, u kterých pukají lebky tlakem, chorobný vokál. Rychlost, zběsilost, vztek a šílenství. Ale také chlad a temnota. Tak lze charakterizovat nové EP "Dust" asi nejlépe. Mám rád, když hraje kapela od srdce, když do toho dává vše. Obdivuji atmosféru celé nahrávky, která je velmi podmanivá, pochmurná. Jako rána na hřbitově, když jdou všechny přízraky spát. Kývám se do rytmu, beru do ruky lopatu a krumpáč a jdu vykopat další hrob. Troufám si tvrdit, že exhumace ve stylu THRONE OF FLESH se povedla na výbornou. Jednou se všichni rozložíme a sežerou nás červi, ale než se tak stane, budu tohle EP stále rád poslouchat. Doporučuji absolutní tmu a chladnou noc. To vyniknou jednotlivé momenty nejlépe. Budete chyceni do silných pavučin, upletených z jedu a beznaděje. Novinka je plná děsivých melodií ve stylu MORBID ANGEL, ENTOMBED, DEATH, AUTOPSY, MASSACRE, OBITUARY, které se vám otisknou hluboko do mozku, do vašich kostí. Budou jako sněť, která postupně rozloží vaše tělo. Mám vlastně jenom jednu připomínku. Chtěl bych dlouhohrající desku. Doufám, že bude brzy. Z italského podzemí opět vylezla další bestie, která touží po krvi. "Dust" je přesně tím druhem hudby, kterou mohu doporučit všem, kteří rádi a často tráví svůj čas v temnotě. I tread softly so as not to disturb the rest of the long dead. Tonight, I'm to meet Italian death metal band THRONE OF FLESH amongst the tombstones. A pack made up of the most experienced members of the underworld. The silhouettes of demons emerge from the fog.
We're right here. Playing honest old death metal from the long abandoned catacombs. I slowly turn up the volume and zombies crawl out of the graves. This is music for all fans of old forgotten graveyards. The songs must have been written deep underground. In morgues and moldy dungeons. Death has a new name, it's called THRONE OF FLESH.
I appreciate the very well treated sound. It's massive, disgusting and clear. I also like the cover art, which beautifully captures what is happening on the record. Ancient death rituals. Sharp riffs that crack skulls with pressure, sick vocals. Speed, fury, rage and madness. But also coldness and darkness. That's probably the best way to describe the new EP "Dust". I love it when a band plays from the heart, when they give it their all. I admire the atmosphere of the whole record, which is very captivating, gloomy. Like a morning in a graveyard when all the ghosts go to sleep. I sway to the rhythm, pick up a shovel and pick and go dig another grave. I dare to say that the THRONE OF FLESH style exhumation was a great success. One day we'll all decompose and be eaten by worms, but until that happens I'll still love listening to this EP. I recommend absolute darkness and a cool night. That's when the individual moments stand out the best. You'll be caught in a thick web of venom and despair. The new album is full of terrifying melodies in the style of MORBID ANGEL, ENTOMBED, DEATH, AUTOPSY, MASSACRE, OBITUARY, which will imprint deep into your brain, into your bones. They'll be like anthrax that will gradually disintegrate your body. Actually, I just have one comment. I'd like a long-playing record. I hope it's soon. Another bloodthirsty beast has emerged from the Italian underground. "Dust" is exactly the kind of music I can recommend to anyone who likes to spend time in the dark.
