Mokvající rána, zkažená krev. Hnisavý vřed. Stačilo jedno kousnutí a vypadá to, že asi brzy zemřu. Nakažený starodávnou chorobou, zvanou death metal, umírám a znovu se rodím. Pálí mě vnitřnosti i mozek, modlím se k temnotě. Nakonec přijde a vezme mě na druhý břeh. Za řeku Styx, odkud není návratu. Slyším děsivé ozvěny ze záhrobí a moc dobře vím, že jsem zde správně. Poslouchám novou desku chilských démonů PUTRID YELL a konečně nacházím klid.
Pochován v dřevěné rakvi, několik metrů pod zemí, si užívám skvělý prašivý zvuk (recorded and mixed by Cristian Leon at Lion’s Roar Studio (Ripper, Hellish, Dearthsvn, etc), mastered by Damien Herring at Subterranean Watchtower Studio (Horrendous, Suffering Hour, Blood Incantation, Rope Sect, etc)). HM-2 ďábelské riffy pronikají do mých vnitřností. Postupně je rozkládají a já zase po nějaké době kolem sebe vidím desítky hnijících se mrtvol. Tady se hraje pravý, nefalšovaný smrtící kov a Satan znovu sedí na svém trůnu. Masakr v márnici!
Pokud jste, stejně jako já fanoušky švédského chřestění kostí a máte rádi i jihoamerický black death metalový smrad, neváhejte ani chvilku. Masakr! PUTRID YELL se s tím moc nepářou. Jsou nekompromisní a jdou přímo na věc. Oceňuji nejen uvěřitelný přístup, ale i spoustu morbidních nápadů, motivů, které se proplétají skladbami jako jedovatí hadi. Songy jsou napsány s nadšením pro poslední věci člověka. Je z nich cítit mrtvolný puch, známý ze starých pohřebišť. Každý riff je jako hřeb, který vám jednou zatlučou do rakve. Musím napsat, že "Consuming Aberration" je pro mě velkým překvapením. Zhasl jsem všechna světla a smrt byla zase jednou blízko. Mokvající rána, zkažená krev. Hnisavý vřed. Tuhle nahrávku mohu doporučit všem, kteří rádi a často tráví svůj čas v temnotě. Pro poctivé archeology smrti, ale i pro mladé fanoušky, kteří mají rádi reálný smrtící kov. PUTRID YELL jsou dalším důkazem toho, že v Chile je velmi silná undergroundová scéna. Chybí mi jen jediné. Abych kapelu viděl naživo, v nějakém malém klubu. Exhumovali bychom spolu další hrob a obětovali na oltáři prokletého kněze. Hnisavý death metal staré školy temný jako exhumovaný hrob!

Buried in a wooden coffin, a few meters underground, I enjoy a great dusty sound (recorded and mixed by Cristian Leon at Lion's Roar Studio (Ripper, Hellish, Dearthsvn, etc), mastered by Damien Herring at Subterranean Watchtower Studio (Horrendous, Suffering Hour, Blood Incantation, Rope Sect, etc)). HM-2's devilish riffs penetrate my insides. They gradually decompose them and after a while I see dozens of rotting corpses around me again. This is where the real, unadulterated death metal is played, and Satan sits on his throne once again. Massacre in the morgue!
If, like me, you are a fan of Swedish bone crunching and you also like the South American black death metal smell, don't hesitate a moment. Massacre! PUTRID YELL don't mess with it. They are uncompromising and they go straight to the point. I appreciate not only the believable approach, but also a lot of morbid ideas, motifs that weave through the songs like venomous snakes. The songs are written with a passion for the last things of man. There is a dead stench about them, familiar from old burial grounds. Each riff is like a nail that will one day be hammered into your coffin. I must write that "Consuming Aberration" is a big surprise for me. I turned off all the lights and death was near once again. The wetting wound, the tainted blood. A festering ulcer. One bite and it looks like I'm about to die. Infected by the ancient disease called death metal, I die and am reborn. I can recommend this record to anyone who likes to spend their time in the dark. For honest death archaeologists, but also for young fans who like real death metal. PUTRID YELL are another proof that there is a very strong underground scene in Chile. There is only one thing missing. To see the band live, in a small club. We would exhume another grave together and sacrifice a cursed priest on the altar. Putrid old-school death metal as dark as an exhumed grave!
