Jednou tě pohřbí s démony. Staneš se součástí věčnosti. Rozplyneš se v čase a tvůj prach bude vysypán do řeky mrtvých. Představte si starý chrám vysoko v horách. Vítr fouká ledově a přízraky meditují spolu s tebou. Někde v těchto místech, na hranici mezi naším a oním světem, musela vznikat nová deska švýcarských OATH OF CRANES. Ti jsou, jak je všeobecně známo, kapelou členů legendárních CELTIC FROST. Kombinace tradiční východní hudby, mantry tibetských mnichů a klasického hard rocku se pro vás stane modlitbou.

Velmi uvěřitelně napsané skladby ale předpokládají trpělivost a klidný poslech. Zpočátku jsem se musel na album velmi soustředit. Nechat ho plynout a působit na mě. Mlhavě černé kompozice vás vezmou na výlet do jiných dimenzí. Uklidněte svoji mysl a pozdravte duše zemřelých.

Franco Sesa napsal skladby, které navenek chladí, ale uvnitř žhnou a pálí. Líbí se mi celkový koncept, východní filozofie mám moc rád a hudba se stala po nějakém čase i mojí součástí. Sludge doomové hřmění, šepot nemrtvých, "The Unsung Mantras" je zajímavou a originální ozvěnou z temných koutů lidské mysli. Zároveň působí očisťujícím dojmem. Pokud vás zajímá tajemno, magie, záhady a necháte se rádi unášet na zpěněných vlnách řeky mrtvých, neváhejte ani chvilku. Jsem klidný a našlapuji opatrně. Zpomalil jsem svoje pohyby, hibernuji v šumu velkoměsta. Každý den cestou do práce, každý den doma, ale nejlépe večer, když jsou mraky nízko. Utíkám do lesa a zde uprostřed matky přírody vyniknou jednotlivé motivy nejlépe. Smrt je najednou pomíjivá, rodíme se a umíráme, zabíjíme a milujeme. Tohle všechno se do nového alba otisklo. Jako krvavá šmouha. Netřeba diskutovat o zvuku, ani o obalu. Formální věci mají pánové ošetřeny velmi profesionálně. Nic mě neruší, ani nevadí. Naopak. Medituji v chůzi, jsem odpoután od hmotných věcí. Dovedu pochopit, že se někomu nebude nahrávka líbit, ale u mě to neplatí. Naopak, společné chvíle patřily k tomu nejhezčímu, nejdrásavějšímu, co jsem poslední měsíce zažil. Kapela nám vypráví příběhy o věčnosti, pomíjivosti a dělá to skvělým způsobem. OATH OF CRANES mě zasáhli přímo do srdce, hluboko do mozku a stal jsem se jejich oddaným fanouškem. Jednou mě pohřbí s démony. Už se těším. Tajemná, temná, sludge doom metalová meditace!

The very believably written songs, however, require patience and calm listening. At first I had to concentrate very hard on the album. To let it flow and affect me. The hazy black compositions take you on a trip to other dimensions. Calm your mind and say hello to the souls of the dead.

Franco Sesa has written songs that cool on the outside but burn and scorch on the inside. I like the overall concept, I like Eastern philosophies a lot and the music became a part of me after some time. Sludge doom thunder, whispers of the undead, "The Unsung Mantras" is an interesting and original echo from the dark corners of the human mind. At the same time, it has a cleansing effect. If you are interested in mystery, magic, mysteries and like to be carried away on the foamy waves of the river of the dead, don't hesitate a moment. I'm calm and tread carefully. I've slowed my movements, hibernating in the noise of the city. Every day on my way to work, every day at home, but preferably in the evening when the clouds are low. I run into the woods and it is here, in the midst of mother nature, that the individual motifs stand out best. Death is suddenly ephemeral, we are born and die, kill and love. All this is imprinted on the new album. Like a bloody blur. There's no need to discuss the sound or the cover. The formal stuff is handled very professionally. Nothing distracts or bothers me. On the contrary. I meditate in a walking meditation, detached from material things. I can understand that some people won't like the recording, but that's not true for me. On the contrary, the moments together have been among the most beautiful, the most beautiful I have experienced in the last few months. The band tells us stories of eternity, of impermanence, and does it in a great way. OATH OF CRANES hit me right in the heart, deep in the brain, and I became a devoted fan. One day they'll bury me with demons. I'm looking forward to it. Mysterious, dark, sludge doom metal meditation!
