Ležím už nějakou dobu pohřbený hluboko ve studené zemi. Bez rakve, jen shnilé tělo. Pomalu se rozpadám v prach. Nikdy nenajdu klid. Už zase slyším volání démonů. Musím se vrátit, abych pomstil všechny vaše hříchy. Býval jsem jedním z mnoha. Vojákem temnoty. Už zase pochodujeme a naše zbraně jsou připraveny. Armáda nemrtvých, tisíce zničených životů. Čekáme na povel a v zákopech posloucháme novou nahrávku kalifornských KOMMAND.
Kapela letos přichází se svým druhým, dlouhohrajícím útokem a musím rovnou napsat, že se mi jejich novinka dostala ihned pod kůži. Podobný, valící se a devastující kov smrti ze staré školy, koluje i v mých žilách. Morbidní motivy, démonické riffy, temnota a chlad. Viděli jste někdy černobílé záběry z války? Atmosféra alba je velmi podobná. Existuje už jenom beznaděj a zabíjení. Čas smrti nastal!
KOMMAND se volně inspirovali ve své tvorbě legendárními BOLT THROWER. Dělají to ale velmi uvěřitelně a přinášejí do tohoto stylu spoustu svých nápadů. Jsou o nějaký řád surovější a syrovější. Při poslechu zahlédnete duše mučených, setkáte se s rozšklebenými tvářemi démonů. Skladby zní velmi uvěřitelně, jsou jako prudký jed, po kterém zemřete v nekonečných křečích. Způsobů, jakými můžete zemřít je nekonečné množství, ale ten který zvolili tito maniaci, je velmi reálný a krutý. Kapele se opravdu povedlo znázornit nechutnou atmosféru války. Byl jsem jedním z davu a pochodovali jsme směr absolutní tma. Líbí se mi zvuk, který je čitelný, ale zároveň plesnivý a uhrančivý (Arthur Rizk - Mixing, Mastering, Mike Kriebel - Recording). Vše perfektně doplňuje i obal (Bharata Danu z Indonésie). Nedám na černobílé motivy dopustit a zde se opravdu velmi povedl. Zkrátka a jednoduše, pokud jste staří metaloví veteráni, u kterých se prokletí být fanouškem smrti zrodilo někdy v devadesátých letech a nebo jen rádi a často snídáte nahrubo nasekanou tmu, bude se vám album "Death Age" určitě líbit. Je skvěle napsáno a složeno. Má v sobě velkou porci černé a studené energie, tlaku a špíny. Ležím už nějakou dobu pohřbený hluboko ve studené zemi. Bez rakve, jen shnilé tělo. This year the band comes with their second, long-playing attack and I have to write right away that their novelty got under my skin immediately. Similar, rolling and devastating old school death metal runs through my veins. Morbid themes, demonic riffs, darkness and coldness. Have you ever seen black and white footage of war? The atmosphere of the album is very similar. There's just despair and killing. The time of death has come!
KOMMAND were loosely inspired by the legendary BOLT THROWER. But they do it very believably and bring a lot of their own ideas to this style. They are an order of magnitude more raw and raw. Listening to them you will catch a glimpse of the souls of the tortured, you will meet the grinning faces of demons. The songs sound very believable, they are like violent poison that will make you die in endless spasms. The ways you can die are endless, but the one chosen by these maniacs is very real and cruel. The band has really managed to portray the disgusting atmosphere of war. I was one of the crowd and we marched towards absolute darkness. I like the sound, which is legible, but at the same time moldy and mesmerizing (Arthur Rizk - Mixing, Mastering, Mike Kriebel - Recording). Everything is perfectly complemented by the cover art (Bharata Danu from Indonesia). I don't give a damn about the black and white motifs and here it's really very successful. In short, if you're an old metal veteran whose curse of being a fan of death was born sometime in the nineties, or if you just like and often eat coarsely chopped darkness, you'll definitely like the album "Death Age". It's brilliantly written and composed. It has a big helping of black and cold energy, pressure and grime. I've been lying buried deep in the cold earth for a while now.
