Trvá to už několik dní. Každé ráno je na některém z čerstvých hrobů mrtvola. Někdy uprostřed noci, když jsou stíny dlouhé a všude se vznáší mlha, musí vylézat ven. Nemrtví, kteří se vrátili, aby se pomstili za všechno zlo, které na nich bylo spácháno. Špína, hnis a nenávist. Tohle všechno z tohoto místa cítím. Stejně jako z nové desky chilských maniaků SEPULCRUM. Také jste vyrůstali na starém plesnivém death metalu z devadesátých let? Potom jste vítáni.
Další otevřený hrob, další exhumace. Tady se hraje hezky postaru, s temnou jiskrou v oku. Hudba chilských válečníků je opředena pavučinami a je z ní cítit krev. Stačilo několik prvních tónů a jsem ztracen. Přesně na takováto pohřebiště patřím a zde jsem se učil řemeslu. Všichni opravdoví hrobníci vědí své.
SEPULCRUM pořádají obřad ve stylu MORBID ANGEL, MORTA SKULD, DEICIDE, PESTILENCE, DEATH. Zazní ale i odkazy na švédskou a finskou smrtící školu. Základem je nahrubo nasekaná tma, přidáván je potom chlad a vztek. Album je opatřeno velmi uvěřitelným zvukem, který vás doslova přikove na zeď a obal připomíná obraz v galerii smrti (Francisco Ramírez (Morkt Artist)). Bylo splněno vše pro pradávný rituál. Nahrávku mě baví poslouchat, velmi si ji užívám a s chutí se k ní stále vracím. Má na mě zcela devastující efekt. Společné návštěvy hřbitova, za zvuků "Lamentation of Immolated Souls" jsou pro mě noční můrou. Potkávám své vlastní démony, kopu si vlastní hrob. Líbí se mi, že není kapela jen dnes tolik častou kopií věcí minulých, ale pánové přinášejí i svoje vlastní nápady. Album rozhodně nenudí. Naopak, je pestré, syrové a surové. Vždyť, kdo z nás, starých fanoušků reálné smrti, by odolal a nenavštívil hřbitov vysoko v horách. Říká se o něm, že zde vstávají mrtví z hrobů. Stačí několik společných nocí s kapelou SEPULCRUM a budete také na straně temnoty. Tahle nahrávka vás vezme na dlouhý výlet bez konce. Za řeku Styx, do Hádovy říše. Songy jsou napsány s jediným účelem - rozsekat vás na malé kousky. Zároveň nepostrádají temnou atmosféru. Starý, prašivý, plesnivý death metal z prokletých pohřebišť! Kult smrti!

Another open grave, another exhumation. This is good old-fashioned music, with a dark sparkle in the eye. The music of the Chilean warriors is webbed and reeks of blood. SEPULCRUM will hold a ceremony in the style of MORBID ANGEL, MORTA SKULD, DEICIDE, PESTILENCE, DEATH. The base is coarsely chopped darkness, then coldness and rage are added. Everything for the ancient ritual has been fulfilled. I enjoy listening to the recording, I enjoy it very much and I keep coming back to it with relish. It has a completely devastating effect on me. Visiting the cemetery together, to the sounds of "Lamentation of Immolated Souls" is a nightmare for me. I meet my own demons, dig my own grave. I like that not only is the band nowadays so often a copy of things past, but the gentlemen bring their own ideas. The album is definitely not boring. On the contrary, it's colourful, raw and raw. After all, who among us, old fans of the real death, would resist visiting a cemetery high in the mountains. It's said to be where the dead rise from their graves. A few nights together with SEPULCRUM and you'll be on the dark side too. This record will take you on a long trip with no end in sight. To the River Styx, to the realm of Hades. The songs are written with one purpose in mind - to cut you into little pieces. At the same time, they don't lack a dark atmosphere. Old, dusty, moldy death metal from cursed burial grounds!
